hey people, i have an X1 which is flashed with the energy rom by NRGZ28. i am running the August 5th 2009 relase. so... my x1 was running lovly no problems one of the best roms i have used so quick and response is very fast.... but my x1 randomly died. i then turned it back on and straight the way shut down again. Now the phone does not turn on at all it does not charge neither, the battery is fine as i have tested it on another x1. so somthing to do with the phone...i am guessing maybe the rom or somthing is there any way of resolving this
also it does not even load the bootloader screen as it does not power up. so can not reflash and aslo tryed hard/soft resetting
any suggestions at all guys would be cool????

So I have my new diamond for a couple days now and updated to the last 2.03 Win Mob 6.1 rom from HTC. The phone is all stock and the only thing I installed was background in all tabs of manilla TF. Now I notice that between some hours my diamond lights up for a second and turns off again. I don't know what might be causing this. This is my second diamond as the first one was always freezing and the warranty gave me a new phone!
mine does this in some areas of my home where i don't get good reception and the phone is switching modes. this happens so much that it may drain my battery overnight if i don't put it into airplane mode. not saying that's what's happening with you but it's a possibility.
This is very strange, because I only noticed this while the phone was without the SIM card!

Found your problem.
You should look into a cooked ROM. They're so much better...my diamond wouldn't even be close to what it is today with a stock ROM.

I am facing a strange problem since a few weeks. My Blackstone sometime does not switch back on again when I press the Power Button after it was suspended(=NOT switched off).
The only way the get it running again is removing the battery and putting it in again. After that the device takes a really long time to boot. Stays at the Smart Device Screen (with ROM info displayed) for about 30 - 40 seconds.
This happened about 4 times the last 6 weeks.
All ROMs used were from LEO - all kind of different versions. It also happen with the newest one 3.2
SPLs: HSPL, HSPL 1.56, SPL 1.56
Did anyone else notice such a behavior? Do you think this is a sign of a Hardware problem, or could it be software related?

got that often when i do something stupid with it ie installing some software wrongly.
ive had to hard reset it each time, but luckily i had sprite backup before that at some point. and it works then

Hi, i have had this phone for a couple of months now and it crashs a lot. At first when i havent flash any roms or radios yet, it was just slow and plain and battery life suck. But after i security unlocked and network unlock the phone would just crash a lot and program would just stop functioning, the conclusion is it would become very unstable and screw up. I tried flashin different roms and even wif the most stable one after couple weeks of usage it just automatcially shut down and wont let me get into the phone anymore. SO i just hard reset it and install another rom. I dont no if the problem is just inherent wif the phone(like a manufacture defect) or was it the roms i install(but other ppl dont seem to have my problem.) Anywayz i loved the phone when i just got it but its been a pain so far. can anyone plz help

Hi, my 1st post here...I've had my x1 for about 18 months now. since last week its been switching off and back on again. At 1st it wasn't so frequent but now its doing it every few minutes and sometimes it doesn't even complete the boot sequence...
I'm running the evilash leo rom, oh and another thing i think i should mention is i lost the battery cover so was using the phone without one for about 2 weeks (long story) I've tried hard reset and re-installing the ROM again, no luck

Thanks for your suggestion, i did try that and same thing happens. I gave up trying...figured it has to be a hardware fault and have handed it in to a mobile phone repair center.
Hi i have a Touch Diamond 2 and am having some serious difficulties!
I've had the Energy ROM installed for about 3 months and all has been good until Sat.
My phone was hanging with the turn on screen(htc across middle) when i tried to turn it on and would just stay like that until i removed battery.
To solve the issue i have tried installing new ROM's with varying success. I have tried un grading to the new Energy ROM and it seems to work for a bit then turns itself off and wont turn back on until i remove battery again. I've also tried going back to the official ROM's. The WM 6.1 version does the same as the Energy ROM and the WM 6.5 one is even worse as it continues to give me the start up screen as before!
Is my phone dead or do i need to do something to get it back working again?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds to me like the NAND is dying.. or just corrupted. Try HardSPL instead of ROMs. Possibly the bootloader is bad.
Cheers for the quick reply, I have just re-done the HardSPL to 2.51 now running with it and Energy ROM. Will see long long it works for but not overly optimistic the now! Will keep you updtaed.

Nope thats it turned itself off already! Bloody annoying!!!!!!
Is your SD card ok,sometimes these things happen when windows is not able to communicate with the sd card properly.
