so im looking for cabs or just the icons thatll change the top bar icons lik the volume, battery, start, and all these icons....

always when i install one of those cabs for symbols i got a wired locking simpad (where you type your pin) with to big buttons or something like that when i deinstall a symbol cab its normal again.
what ist wrong?

then changed the ph.....dll
and then installed the cab with icons
and always when i install the icons it seems the pinpad changes into one for a vga display

The ph.dll probably isn't corectly sign breaking Phone Canvas. Did you edit it & if so did you unsign it before editing & resign after editing?
It's the phcanOverbmp.dll a VGA one has been used you need to get a QVGA version then edit that version(repace the icons) and pin pad will be fine
because i couldn´t solve the problem with the wired pinpad i installed other taskbars until i found a taskbar where the pinpad locks right, it is the block taskbar from gadget freak, but there i have an other problem.
the antenna icon changes to the normal icon until i have a signal all other icons are in the new design.
(i hope you understand my english, because i am from germany)

For Users, See the following CAB's Attached;
If you are using a ROM with the small normal SoftKey Bar, down either "Dragonworld_Blk&Red Build 23017 or Older.cab" or "Dragonworld_Blk&Red Build 23017 or Older (for TransParent Start Icon).cab". The second CAB is if you are using my TaskBar Icons with a Transparent Start Icon.
If you are using a ROM with the new LARGE SoftKey Bar & SoftKey button Graphics, down either "Dragonworld_Blk&Red Build 23028 or Newer.cab" or "Dragonworld_Blk&Red Build 23028 or Newer (for TransParent Start Icon).cab". Hi all, I just finished my new taskbar, I was using Carneros taskbar (which I really love) but was unhappy with the battery indicator, I found it really hard to read (getting a little old ) ,so I decided to create a new one, as you can see it is heavily inspired by Carneros but with all new icons and some more color...If for some reason the icons are not all present, make sure you have sdkcerts installed, if it still doesn't work properly install Finixovers battery cab first then install taskbar. enjoy...

If you've installed a custom taskbar already, you will need to uninstall it. If not, just install Brian's HTC Task_Bar cab. It will tell you to restart your device and that's it.

Some of us are less confident than others when it comes to replacing files in the Windows directory (though I'm willing to give it a go if you could give me the file path). Whichever is easiest for you if you have the time (to do either). Many many thanks.

Don't use pc autosync to replace... copy to your SD card then copy again to /Windows folder.

i made with photoshop,
for red i set:
R:255
G:0
B:0
for green:
R:0
G:255
B:0
the red is great but green is too shiny or something... i didnt change cause i thought maybe its just me finding the green little annoying cause by the color numbers it should be perfect...
so if i'm not the only one ill update graphics later.

Landscape works for me. Could you specifiy your problem further? Is it the normal drop-down arrow or the narrow one (or both)? Perhaps make a screenshot so I can see?

because that's the ONLY way for you to have the FULLY transparent bars... to copy the upper and lower portions of your existing wallpaper and saving it as ***_taskbar.png and ***_softkeybar.png. (*** whatever name your theme uses) with the appropriate sizes.
using a transparent ***_taskbar.png and ***_softkeybar.png will just make it SEMI-transparent. in fact, even opaque bars will make it SEMI-transparent.

one little addition.... i'm using 912 which has d-pad navigation and when i'm trying to delete an email, dialog box appear but it doesn't show where is the position when i'm using d-pad, is it on 'yes' or 'no' button. so i have to touch the screen to select it. maybe you could fix that

maybe there are cache files for manila graphics that need to delete if original replaced but i dont know which ones (if they exist at all...)

i use same version manila so it should work,
to uninstall backup original files from windows folder so you can revert,
if it doesn't work you will see your old white icons,
i don't think you can harm your rom by just replacing this files... never happened to me and i replaced many files...

That also comes stock with the latest EnergyROM GTX version (4/20). Funny that you should like it, because I was about to ask if someone could share the original b&w icons, but the colored ones have grown on me.

Send a PM if you want all black & white .. I do use Energy ROM but don't like the color icons everywhere... just a personal taste
Thx for this. Just installed it on NRG's GTX rom from 20/4. And it looks great.
Just one minor thing. The text on the calender tab (the date ie. 20 in your screenshot) is black. IMO it would look a lot better in white/light grey or perharps transparent.
Is there any way i can change this myself?

IMO It would look better that way too, but sadly I am still pretty new to this hobby, so I have no idea on how to change any of that information.
And trust me I spent hours trying to figure it out.

Hey, I just downloaded this ROM.. I have an Omnia 2 WM 6.5. Now the question, is this rom going to work with my phone?
I am using this with the latest NRG GTX ROM, and it works great except for the Calendar icon, the text in it stays black instead of white when it is not selected.
Is it CFC compressed manila resources?
