• The Manila 2.5 works well. (I haven't found any serious bugs in the last 2 weeks)
• Doesn't work in the Topaz:
- Wifi drivers
- Band switching
- Camera drivers
- The messaging works well, but generate an errorlog (the Topaz's package works with the Manila 2.5, but the Leo's one more beautiful)

[*]This is a test a ROM and some bugs will be there as manila 2.5 is not finish yet.
[*]After flashing Rom please hard reset.
[*]Enter Sim Pin if you have it enabled, New HTC Setup wizard requires it and if not enter you will have to restart to continue through the setup process, minor bug until fixed in next version from HTC.
[*]If you use New Contact card and use face book to log in, at first log in, your picture will not show, workaround just click on new contact card and click face book and it will add your picture.
[*]New manila 2.5 has a minor bug with SMS part in which if you receive a new SMS and click to view it will open in manila , you can view SMS but the menu button doesn't work and if you click it you will have to press the end key to exit.
[*]New Manila 2.5 uses internet Explorer as Leo Rom doesn't include Opera, so I will make a cab for it, also not sure if Internet Push will work but you can enable it in Manila and test yourself.
[*]Been using the Rom for over a week and its stable and can be use daily with the minor bugs mentioned above.
[*]New manila now support landscape mode automatically in music and album tabs

This will be my No-Manila/Clean Version of my WM6.5 ROMs after some consideration. I will try and make cabs eventually but some of these cabs are already posted on XDA.

SAFEST WAY TO FLASH YOUR ROM IS THROUGH STORAGE CARD METHOD ALSO WITH USPL:
Copy BLACIMG.NBH into the root dir of your Storage Card.
Be sure to have at least 30% of charge.
Turn off your device by using the Power Button.
Go to Boot loader mode. Push and hold Vol. Down + press Power button.
Be sure that Device is connected to PC first before inputting the Storage card
Input Storage card when you see USB displaying on screen.
Now run USPL.
If all instruction is followed device will start upgrading through Storage Card.
Always ensure that you run USPL before flashing any rom when using USPL method.
ALTERNATIVE WAY OF FLASHING YOUR ROM WITH RUU.exe
Extract Rom download Folder.
Be sure to have at least 50% of charge.
Turn off your device by using the Power Button
Go to Boot loader mode. Push and hold Vol. Down + press Power button.
Connect your device to PC
Run BlackStoneCustomRuu.exe and follow the screen instructions.
TESTING THE ROM FOR PERFORMANCE
For users who has issues with the Rom, just try this, I have been using the rom for awhile and havent some of these issues, I will try and collect the bug reports unless someone else ca ndo for me.
Recommendations to trying the Rom.
Flash the rom
Hard reset/clear storage
DO NOT INSTALL ANY 3RD PARTY APPS UNTIL TRYING THE ROM FIRST, This is due to anumber of reasons new files drivers etc.
I dont use 3rd part apps or messed with tweaking ,as my rom is fully tweaked as how i use it daily.
After testing the rom and ur happy, INSTALL ONE APP at a time and use it, soft reset and try the device to see if anything strange or any bug as arise.
do this for other apps until u find ur source of the bug

1 - Error due to forwarded email - If you receive a forwarded email, the attached mail cannot be opened with following error message:
"The attachment is of a file type that could be unsafe. Messaging will not open this attachment"
Other attachments such as doc or jpg open fine. I think it may be a problem with a missing association .
2 - The half bug is that SMS is set to GPRS as default. This is bound to cause problems for a lot of people.
3 - No notification for email in sleep mode until device is awaken.

The following are still bug(s) for Version 23009:
1) World Clock (worked under 3.9xt Manila 2.1) thought R8 Manila 2.1 would work,
2) The Motorola S9 & HS850 BT headsets still connect and work fine except for MSVC and system message that pops up saying that the BT is disconnected.
a) When I push the talk button, it dials the last number instead of activating the MSVC. I have made the REG setting changes that point to voiceCMD.exe. (believe I fixed this)
b) Strangley, the Manila displays a message notification that the BT is disconnect though it still works and for me to put the hand set to my ear.

You don't need it if your screen is already correctly aligned (for me it's always the case). So you can avoid one setup after flashing !

seems to had a strange problem (not really important ) with fexplore when I put it in some place in the 2 first line of the menu (manila menu), it doesn't start.
if i represente menu :
1 2 3
4 5 6
i had the possibility to put fexplore in position 2,3,5 and 6
but it doesn't start in position 2,3 and 5 but start in 6
with an another program (calculator for example) i don't have this problem ...
i'm not sure to be clear

I had this with R6 - its a bad flash. Re-flash and should be fine - and don't forget to do 1 HARD REST after flash.

Those places are in used by manila if you want to replace them with any program must do edit registry key belongs to that tab

1) Don't know what changed with this Manila but HDWall doesn't work (produces some kind of odd white-artifacted wallpaper on all tabs.)
2) There's a problem with backlight after turning on auto device lock. After set period of time it locks and shuts down backlight, and after unlocking (without standby) backlight doesn't come back.
Standby is the only way to get backlight back. Tried regedditing ADLTimeout and auto backlight off but didn't help.

Radio & RILPHONE.DLL
No radio comes with ROM and I only provide the RILPHONE.DLL as a courtesy so you have the right file for the Radio you choose.
You can not install RILPHONE.DLL by just copying it. Please read this thread to see how to install it. This file interacts with your Radio and can make a difference in radio, GPS & battery performance. I have found it best to match the rilphone.dll that is designed for your Radio. This is my own finding there are many factors involved which can vary by where you are located so trying to find the best combo for yourself is a good idea.

Greetings and welcome to my ROM Thread ...
My ROMs are always built to have an enhanced OEM look but not the OEM feel. They will perform much better and the overall expierence for you will be greatly improved. I have made Visual Tweaks to the ROM but left it as an Add-On option. The ROM is also stripped of all Ringers, Alarms, Wallpapers and other Multimedia files. Also many of the OEM Apps have been removed and are available as a CAB install download. The ROM is meant to be clean, very fast and very stable and then I left it up to you to decide how YOU would like to customize it.
On the performance side many tweaks have also been applied. All of the common known tweaks and some not so commonly known have been loaded into the ROM to ensure maximum performance with good battery life and stablility.
The software found in the ROMs will always be the most up to date that works with Rhodium. All software is tested very carefully to limit the amount of bugs.
You will find much valuable information on the first page of this thread. Please take the time to read all post on first page thoroughly. You will find many of the answers to questions you may have. If you encounter any bugs, please check the Bug Post and take a look around the thread to see if your answer is with in. If you have not found your answer then report your bug. When reporting bug, report what version and build number you are using. Give as much information as you can.
For user customization my new favorite way to go is SASHIMI. It's a great little app that lets run whatever CAB files you assign with a push of a button. There are more options to allow you to customize your settings in a very few short steps. You can check them out here. It also is not tied into the ROM customization part.

Read this guide. Everything you need to know is right there.
DO NOT CANCEL CUSTOMIZATION! Very important since changes are made during the final setup.

FAQ
Q: Why do I get Invalid ID when I try to flash ROM?
A: You need to flash HardSPL!
Q: How/What do I need to install this ROM?
A: Please read the install instructions and all related guides before you install.
Q: Why is my antivirus warning me about a possible trojan/worm/virus?
A: It is a known problem with the CustomRUU.exe file. There is no trojan/worm/virus and your AV programs is just giving a fals positive. Search around these boards to confirm the problem.
Q: Why is Opera, Google Maps or other programs not cooked into ROM.
A: Not everyone uses the same version of those programs so it is up to the user to install what version they like. I have provided links to the latest versions of each in the following posts.
Q: I have problems with so and so?
A: Please take the time to read or search the thread to see if someone else was/is having the same problem to see if there is a solution before posting a question about your problem.
Q: I would like to report a bug.
A: Read and search through the thread to see if the problem has been already reported. If not then post about the problem. I will add it the bug list and look for a possible solution.
Q: My keyboard is not working correctly.
A: Go to Programs/Tools/Keyboard Tweaks and you will find a few tweaks to adjust keyboard settings.
Q: Which Edition is best for me?
A: Depends on what your use is like. If you are an AT&T user and use video share then get the AT&T edition.
Q: I like to use different flavors of TF3D or customize TF3D to my liking.
A: Download the No TF3D version and apply what interface you like.
Q: Can you cook in this version of TF3D?
A: No that is why I created the No Manila version.
Q: I have no data connection. Connects to data but no apps will get data from internet.
A: Goto Programs-->Network Center-->Proxy Manager and run Disable Proxy.
Q: You claim GPS is fixed but I still not get a signal.
A: Download the GPS Enhancement Package and install. This only works on AT&T Network. If you are on a different network you will have to find the proper settings for your network.
Q: My phone is not GSM based device can I flash with this ROM?
A: No, this ROM is just for GSM Touch Pro devices.
Q: I am on T-Mobile USA and I have problems with MMS.
A: Edit the settings below.

Base of ROM has been updated with all new drivers and apps.
All drivers & software from latest RHODIUM, LEO and QILIN have been incorporated to ensure maximum performance and stability. It was a very painful process and I would like to give a special big thanks to all who helped me test.
Video Call now works. Another big thanks for those who helped me test.
Voice Command, Windows Live and Live IM are now included with ROM.
Manila 2.5 and 2.1 have all been updated with the absolute latest versions. Everything works as it should. Of course there is not much landscape support for 2.5 so don't ask about it or post claiming it is a bug.
Add-On Pack has been updated with all the latest software available. Please check Add-On post for more details.

Crap ... I don't know how I forgot this one ... LOCKSCREEN BUG HAS BEEN FIXED!!!
Internetpush is enabled by default. I discovered in some testing that some Opera install from CABs were not working properly with Pushinternet disabled by default. You can disable Push Internet from one of my scripts. There is a new script called Disable Push Internet - No Opera. This will not give any errors cause Opera is not installed.

Lets see what pops up in 4.0
TF3D2.1 with Opera 9.7. After first boot Opera will open with file not found error. It will not happen again unless you enable Push Internet. Push Internet does not work with 9.7 that I know of. I could be wrong but I am going on the safe side. It will not be supported in my ROMs until I look further into it.

If you are using Fusion Build with no Opera then go to start > Tools > Push Internet > Disable Push Internet - No Opera
Terminate Program Correctly
Create a new txt file.
First line of txt file =
REGEDIT4
Second line of txt file =
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\TaskManager\TerminateProcess]
Next line(s) of txt file =
"Opera9.exe"=dword:00000001
Replace Opera9.exe with the name of the exe of your program. Leave the quotes and everything as is.
Save txt file.
Rename extension to reg.
Copy to phone.
Import into registry with your favorite Registry Editor program. You can use Total Commander that is provided in Add-On Pack.
What this does, some programs do not close correctly and with this reg key it will be forced to terminate when you exit out of it.

Disable XT9 - Restores previous Windows Mobile drop down suggested words.

I do that on purpose so you can install the latest version and when a new one drops you can easily remove it.

KWBR, gave us very good and stable ROM. However, as any ROM, it is not bug free.

This ROM Series is now going to be offered in 2 versions, with the default build being the Standard Lost in Asia Look. With all standard icons and no other customizations other than some nice apps.
Then a New version called "Touch of GLASS". With all glass theme icons, clock, manila slider etc. This new theme will be made with new GLASS theme and Icons. See this Thread for more information.

First Let me say, Everyone has different taste. This is why we have so many different ROM's to choose from. Most all of the ROM's here are good and I find it just comes done to personal preference. Some people like black others don't, some like ROM's ready to go out of the box, others don't and want to configure themselves etc etc.
This ROM is made with some changes from the stock ROM. It uses the Latest MS builds and a few customizations. With some of my personal start menu organization. I like a clean start Menu. I have made some tweaks for speed and stability. I find that our HD2 is already plenty fast for any user so there is no need to cut up and gut out our ROM's to gain some small amount of unnoticeable improvement. I also like to give users the choice in how they like to configure there ROM which is why I use Preset Installer. There will be Many programs you can install from Preset Installer instead of having them built in. I have added a few apps, and a few removed. You can load them from cabs found here on XDA or Through Preset Installer. Or let me know and I can provide it for you.

NEW Rom Online
Which ROM is right for me?
Standard: Comes with most all software and apps and is ready to go after flash.
Standard is also a Full version of HTC Sense With all Languages included.
Standard also is good for users who wish to apply themes and or add and remove manila mods etc.
Lite Version: Rom is a light base ROM that can be customized to anyone needs through Preset Installer. This ROM is also faster because all the apps loaded after flash benefit from the Extendir performance increase.
Many of the stock and custom apps have been removed for installation through Preset Installer.
Manila is less than half the size of the ship ROM. More than 3000 files are removed from the windows folder with this version.
Manila is cfc compressed, and all Lang files except WWE are removed.
Manila mods are uninstallable, if you uninstall a manila mod you will have to reinstall manila again from Preset Installer. (Not a big deal only 2 min)

How to install?:
Copy the Extendir folder found in download to the root of your storage card. Flash the ROM as usual, Soft Reset, then go to th Start Menu and select Preset Installer. When Preset Installer comes up you can click next and install the programs or utilities you want by checking the boxes for each program. You can Also choose from one of the Preset Configuration if available for that version. Then Click next and then install. NOTE: A box with a bold check will install automatically to Device, if it has a faded check this means you will be prompted for install location. This is needed for programs that require user intervention like FingerKeyboard Google Mapsetc. Don't let device go to sleep during install!!. Device will reboot after installation. You can remove any of the programs as needed from the Remove programs in System. I have made some new .cab files with shortcuts to my Start Menu folders structure. So if you try to use these cabs on another ROM it likely will not work. Read the install instructions inside the Extendir folder. WARNING do not copy or redistribute any of the cabs found in my Extendir Folder. I name them with LIA to distinguish them as being modified for my ROM. Some of these apps are proprietary and can cause trouble if posted somewhere else.

Ok my friends an supporters. My Blog site is back online finally as I had to change hosting services. All links should now be working. The good thing is I now have unlimited bandwidth and 24/7 support with a guaranteed 99% online time. I will also have a forum if I decide to use it. For right now everything should be back to normal after the transfer but let me know if something is not. I'm very tired from all of this and in need of some sleep. But I have a lot of things to beta test and new version to release so I hope everyone will visit to keep up on the news as it happens, here and on the blog site. Also be sure to use the FAQ and post them there as we can start to build a good reference section.

Hey bobsbbq. Man, JUST got my tmobile HD2 today and yours is the first rom I'm trying. Im eager to check out the extendir function. Havent even had a chance to change my sig. lol! Anyways, I like the look a lot and have one question. To return to say a stock look in manila, we would just uncheck all options for manila customization when going into the preset stuff we want and then in that same menu, we should see an option to reinstall manila? Thanks a lot bob and looking forward to report back more as I get to use the phone.
Only thing I've noticed so far is there is the overlap in the minmize/maximize part of the dialer as has been common in lots of roms. I know theres a fix for it that can be cooked in, but can't remember where. And the lockscreen has the calendar window that stays up all the time, even when there is no appt. Ive attached the files to the post below. Just copy them to windows and windows\lockscreen.

Your Radio is correct. The nbh is not corrupt. Use 7zip program to unzip. I know I need to add this to the instructions. I use a very high level of compression which is not supported by some other programs like winzip rar etc.

Thanks for the fix the modified Lockscreen from Dinik I don't think has this problem.
As for the manila yes you can just uncheck the manila mods if using the regular version. if you are wanting to revert you will uninstall then you will install again without the mods.
Next version will make this possible with Preload as well.

For those of you who are beta testers or private members the first beta of the new versions is online now. It is a TMOUS version 23559 with Extendir 2

Yeah, the Dinik lockscreen doesnt have the problem as the .cpr's have already been modified. Just the original if you choose that option. Thanks for the instructions and I did get manila installed as stock. Overall, the rom is great so far my man. My brother seen it and the performance and wanted the exact same rom too. Two fans in 24 hrs aint bad. lol.

Known Issues :
Issue #1; In WiFi networks, soft buttons (Bottom bar) aren't visible. Cannot button to accept key or etc options.
Solution; Please install the attached cab. If cab fails to install, that means Wifi networks app is running in background. Either press and hold Wifi networks X button to force close or Softreboot and try installing again.

Notes:
All the above kitchens are based on OSBuilder.
Make sure you install OSBuilder (Any version) before using the kitchen.
Clean_Up_SYS.bat cleans/removes unnecessary packages. i.e QVGA and VGA DPI.
Repair Attributes.bat like the name says, it fixes files attributes. Run it once after editing any ROM files or before building a ROM.
Warning.bat is linked in OSBuilder and it runs before the ROM building starts. It has some points to warn you before building a ROM.
You can edit the above bat files to know more info about what it does.
Splash.nb is linked to OSBuilder and asks whether to include in the ROM at the end of ROM building.
mxip_notify.vol unknown. Will let you know once I come to know.
After building a ROM, the NBH file will be placed in Output folder (In the root of the kitchen). There is also a ruu to test/flash the ROM.

• This ROM upgrade is only designed for T-Mobile HD2 aka LEO 1024 and compatible with HTC HD2 aka LEO 512.
• DON'T ATTEMPT TO USE OR FLASH ON THE DEVICE(S) OTHER THEN SPECIFIED ABOVE.

• By flashing this ROM upgrade, your HD2 may not extended or void warranty, so it’s your own risk and responsibilities.
• You're Anit-Virus software may find or detect the EXE's in ROM package as virus. No need to panic, those are just bat files which are converted to EXE's and for security reason some Anit-Virus softwares detects as virus since bat files are mostly used for virus programming. You are safe to ignore the message or add the files to exclude list in Anit-Virus software.
• RUU supports all Windows platforms.
• Before you flash, make sure your HD2 is CID unlocked aka HardSPL.
• Before you flash, make sure your HD2 has at least 50% battery power.
• Before you flash, make sure you have taken backup of all your important data(s) on your HD2 include contacts, tasks, messages, emails and etc.
• Before you flash, make sure you have disabled screen saver, power saving and the like on your PC.
• Before you flash, make sure your PC has battery backup provided for safety propose. At least for 15 mins.
• Before you flash, close all the running softwares on your PC. Soft reboot the PC is recommended before flashing.
• While flashing, DO NOT start another process.
• While flashing, DO NOT minimize the RUU window. Let it stay in the foreground.
• While flashing, DO NOT interact or use your HD2, unless instructed to do so.
• While flashing, DO NOT remove the USB sync cable from PDA, unless instructed to do so.
• UC Compatible is already supported in all the ROM upgrades. Click here for more info.
• After flashing and booting successfully, make a soft reboot. Hard reboot is recommended.
• On the first boot, start menu may take some time to open. Please give it some time before to start using your HD2. It should be fine on 2nd boot and so on.
• Before you flash any radio versions, make sure they are fully supported to your device. Radios are more likely to brick devices if not compatible.
• This ROM upgrade doesn’t include radio aka GSM, IPL, SPL or etc. except OS and splash screen.

1. Create following folders on your storage card
• XDA_UC
• XDA_UC\Manual
• XDA_UC\Copy2Root
• XDA_UC\Run
• XDA_UC\Execute
“XDA_UC” is a place for all .cab, .reg, .mscr, .cer files that should be automatically installed to device.
“Manual” is a place for all cab files you want install in usual "visible" mode with all questions.
“Copy2Root” is a place for all files and folders that should be automatically copied to device.
“Run” is a place for you self-extracting archives.
“Execute” is a place for you self-extracting archives if you want to continue customization while them working.
2. Run XDA_UC_NET and press customize button*.
*Make sure XDA_UC in Storage Card is selected as XDA_UC folder before you run the customizations.

Robotic sound ( In incoming voice and music ).
Reason - Its the Android releases/builds fault, At least in my ROMs.
Solution - Using Mdeejay FroYo HD, I don't have any Robotic sound or voice. If you do, please try different Android releases/builds.
Follow the instruction written on the Android release to successfully install and run on your device.

Splash Screens:

Packages doesn't contain RUU so if you don't have one, Download Here
Place the Custom RUU exe in the splash screen package and flash
***Warning: T-Mobile USA HD2 settings are used to create these splashscreens so they work in T-Mobile USA HD2. Not all the splash screens are tested but suppose to work fine. I'm not sure whether they work on international HD2s. Its your risk and responsibility. DON'T TRY TO FLASH ON OTHER DEVICES. ***

yes CRACING you making roms for this phone makes it a much better experience so its worth it
although i got hooked on android, there r things about windows that i havent been able to do on android so it would be cool to be able to switch back between both.

I'm willing to release my ROM asap but one of issue is giving me more headache.
OOBE, its the one replaces welcome.exe on first boot. After it finishes, it just sucks until startmenu button is pressed. I can remove this app and the ROM works fine but OOBE is nice so trying hard to make it work since yesterday non stop.
May be I will tomorrow. Have to debug with my ROM and stock and check what is causing it.

I'm glad that I was able to fix OOBE ending issue, no matter it took 3 days to solve.
I think the ROM is more beta then a beta, of course its my first release but as best I can, I have tested and found to be stable and bugless.
