hi, is there a smartollkit for the sony xperia? or anything similar? it'd be great if someone gave me links for them if there is. thanks!
I use SKTools if that's what you mean. It's paid software, but worth every penny.
Great for cleaning, tweaking, file management and has a good reg editor.....before you as, no I don't work for the company.
I have tried a few and this one seems the best.

I agree with that. SKTools is a great software.
I don't agree. It's slow and has a crappy user interface.

SKTools does a different job then those you mentioned. Yes, it is ugly and slow, but it is not made to be pleasant to the yes. It does its job perfectly.

no im sorry i wasnt referring to sktools, i forgot to mention i used to use a tmobile dash and had a thing called smart tool kit. what it does is made the whole bottom bar like an actual comp, so if you'd press the windows button it'd come up like a start menu. also showed what programs were running. it made my winmo experience so much better.

so besides the game thats included and the other ball game with the numbers, are there any other games or apps that take advantage of the tilt/motion sensor (or whatever it is.)
See: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=430541
Everytime someone links that thread they're basically saying no. There's not really any good G-Sensor games out like on the iPhone yet, hopefully in the future there will be some though.

Its located under the Diamond section but has a good list of games and apps. *Should* all be compatible, but dont take my word for that.
What applications does the iPhone have that is good?

"good" is a relative term. It's clear apple has a growing share of "compelling-enough" apps that take advantage of the hardware that make people want it more:

Or you get something more powerful such as SOTI Pocket Controller Professional - that does not only let you take screenshots but puts your PDA Screen right on to your desktop computers screen where you can do a whole lot more than just screenshots.
Downside: it is commercial but free trial!
thanks guys!

LOL, I didn't say SOTI is the only one - just recommending what I am using myself.
Hello, I saw those funny sprint commercials where you have people like delivery men running schools, music junkies running an airport etc.
So I was thinking of having an app for the raph that will use wifi or bluetooth to communicate with other phones in the area running that program.
I found this: http://msmobiles.com/news.php/5440.html
but I was hoping if we can work on one that will run on WM 6.1, and symbian (for those nokia n95s and stuff) to communicate in a walkie talkie like fashion.
Anyone up? =)
its called push to talk, pay for the service.

Im sure he is well aware of push to talk. That was a pretty arrogant response to a perfectly legitimate question. I use PTT on my device, and I pay for it.
NOT ALL DEVICES ARE PTT CAPABLE. But all have either bluetooth of WIFI. I would really like to see this mature into a program. I think it would be really cool for a program to use PTT on a wifi connection through a wireless router. That way the rx/tx field would be more widespread than bluetooth.
I started a tread about Loudtalks
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3239233#post3239233
Loudtalks is a freeware ;-) IM program for "walkie Talkie" Push to Talk.
And it works all over the world, also over GPRS or Faster.
You don't have to be on the same wifi-point.
It's quick, simple (even i can instal), works on windows mobile and windows pc systems.
Download, install, fill in a username and password and you can chat. Even with your self (echo) hihi.
Thanks, everyone. Unfortuneatley, LoudTalks only works on windows mobile :-(. Having a program that works exclusively on WinMo excludes the rest of the world that has symbian or another OS. Does a multiplatform program all ready exist?
I woould really like to see something like this that takes advantage of wifi or bluetooth.

But it might work from one motorcycle to another or from car to car... Ok, we use PMR or LPD ;-)
sjphone
Use sjphone !
Unfortuneatley many of those applications are available JUTS for windows or JUST for symbian.
I'm trying to find a solution that will work for both.
i think palringo can be used too, it can be used for windows mobile and blackberry.

It's a waste of time.
Seriously, if you want good talkies-walkies, buy some real.
With bluetooth it's just LOL, and with Wifi it will drain quickly your battery. And all participants must have device compatible and the soft.
And no garanteed it will works nice. Wifi is crap for this usage.
A bit of an old thread but I am looking for exactly the same as the OP and replies such as this are somewhat blinkered.

Bluetooth is less suitable than WiFi due to its shorter range, agreed.
and with Wifi it will drain quickly your battery.

With no knowledge of the intended usage, this is possibly entirely untrue.
My need for this is on a motorcycle when battery drain is totally irrelevant since it will be constantly powered from the machine.
And all participants must have device compatible and the soft.

When you have such a specific need, I'd say it's perfectly obvious that the participants will be collaborating and have the same software that they need. Another supposed 'negative' that has no substance.

Not at all. If that were the case, due to your arguments presented above, no Windows Mobile should ever use WiFi.
It'd still be pretty awesome to have this, lol.
Hello,
I have been searching for a good scientific calculator for mine kaiser for a long time, but no success. I am learning Match, and i need to calculate time to time complex things. I could do it on excel but to write formula there takes a lot of times and is not handy.
i know of 1-calc it's more for ekanomist, i need more options in calc...
Any ideas what i could try?
Thanks in advance...
SpaceTime is good.

I recommend PowerOne made by Infinity Softworks. www.infinitysw.com
I hope this helps.
Panoramic calc pro aint bad either, if someone knows for one that is more sofisticated...please suggest
Panoramic calc pro is great got every thing that geek like me could want
SpaceTime is more like Grafp drawer, but nice too.
powerOne doenst have WM version of scieentific calc
A the moment Panoramic calc pro is best for me, it got sprity advanced calc functions + will be easy to cheat at exams, jsut becosue can draw graph with it..
Thank you all for all support
HiCalc seems pretty good too.
Guys, which one of them is programmable (if any)? I mean defining own functions and so forth... Cheers
Another option would be VTI Pocket Emulator, which emulates TI calculators. I've got the TI89 and the TI83plus running at the moment for school. Should be able to define your own functions, etc.

Will have look at it, thanks...
Just came across this post yesterday and others while I was looking for a scientific calculator for my Kaiser, I've tried 1-calc, HiCalc and SpaceTime. HiCalc is by far the best of the three, has many useful features.
A little bit more then a scientific calculator, but PocketCAS is a freeware app that does symbolic algebra, calculus, and trig. Very nice app if you are taking high level math/science courses.

I like the HP15c have use HP's for so long can't use a non rpn calc.
Hopefully this isn't too far off topic. Does anyone know of a good way that my wife and I can share lists between our android and webos phones? I highly prefer both with an app, as opposed to a web version of something. I know you can share lists on remember the milk, but the mobile version of that kinda sucks, and anything other way of maintaining the list is a ridiculous $25 a year.
I would love it if one of us could add milk and shampoo to a list from anywhere, and then be able to update/check that list when we happen to be at a store.
Edit For Clarity: If an app worked the way I'm describing I would be willing to plunk down ~$2 for both phones for the one time app free, it's just that a yearly fee would be a bit much for the stupid lazy thing I want it for
Nvm read post wrong
I hadn't looked at evernote, and it's so close to what I need, but it looks like the one thing I need most, both editing the same list, requires premium access, which is $45 a year. Ouch!
Thanks though.
