MMS On Rooted G1??

I have a Tmobile G1 Aka Htc Dream ive noticed no matter what rom
Donut or eclair based,Cyanogen 4x/5x Super D/E MMS messages are never received As they are on the unrooted stock 1.6, SMS has no issue at all,
The wife sent me a mms and it never got thru on my phone i had her send
me it about 2-3 times before finally it was received on my end.
Im guessing it has to do with the phone being rooted and custom rom
Anyway i want to know if theres any solution or fix does a seperate APN need to be added in order for MMS to function properly as in the stock rom
or is there script/patch needed or something

MMS and root problem

Hey everyone,
I've been following these forums for a short while now, mostly just lurking but I have a problem that I just can't seem to resolve or find the exact answer to. I have the Sprint CDMA Hero and am running the Fresh Hero 2.3.3 ROM. And it seems that regardless of what ROM I'm using, once I rooted my phone I've been unable to send MMS messages but can receive them just fine.
Yesterday I went back to the stock RUU to test my ability to send MMS messages and it worked fine. Then I rooted the phone again and that's where it stops working.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Please!

MMS error : "processcom.android.mms" has stopped working..

Hi there guys... Im having a problem with reading MMS's...
I Flashed my phone yesterday with
PDA : XWJM1
PHONE : XXJG6
CSC : XXJG7
Anyways when i click on it.. I just get a screen saying
"Sorry.... bla bla bla (process com.android.mms) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"
All im left with is a Force Close...
My phone is rooted and Lag fixed with OCLF...
Any ideas to this problem ?

Im having the same problem on my galaxy s on the 3 network in the uk...
I updated the phone to froyo 2.2 using the reg edit hack i read else where on this site.
the phone upgraded sucessfully but once it had rebooted after the upgrade i tried to read a txt message and it crashed and wanted me to force close!
I tried clearing the message data through setting-manage applications but the messages are still there and i cant get them to delete.
Have you got any further with resolving this issue because its really starting to worry me?

MMS problem

I have a captivate att unlock for rogers and I can't receive mms. it keep telling me downloading and then nothing happens..
Tried some mms apps to back it up but doesn't do anything.
Any clue? Thanks a lot!
I'm on 2.1 btw.

MMS - image removed

Hello
I have problem with mms from last 3 weeks. I can send mms without a problem, but when somebody send me i get only message that part <image> is removed. I thought its a problem of the system, i flashed fresh with rsd lite and nothing help.
After that i put my sim to other phone and everything works. Then i installed handcent sms on my razr, and this program download properly mms with picture. How its possible that fresh even ICS and JB delete images from mms i received?
