regarding to my video on youtube ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLX-a1cuvUI ) which I tried to play FFVII with FPSEce 0.96 some guys told me, that my X1 is very slow.
I use the original SE R3 ROM without branding and I won't use a custom ROM which may be a problem with warranty.
Now I did a hard-reset without speedimprovement and I reinstalled the R3 ROM with the SEUS tool. But no improvement, too.
Now I wanted to know if there is a benchmark to check weather my X1 is slower than other X1.
So please tell my how I can check this.

I try to flash it to R2, then R3, and after some hours , it soft reset by itself.
Sometimes, when i'm asking something : panel view, or try to dial, sometimes, just by itself.
I went back to R1 last week end.
So far, it's stable.
My question is:
There are some release of software to fix some bugs.
Are they compliant with all hardware X1 , or some "hardware" fix or improvements exist (which could explain why it reboots by itself)?

Don't you want to try using the cooked ROM's? They are far much more better and stable than the original ROM's. I suggest you try and flash cooked ROM's by smaberg and NRGZ28, both are fast and much eaiser to use.
man u better try cooked roms, by own experience i've been using for 3 weeks valkyrie and seems to be bug free ! not bug at all... just try it, don't lose anything

I try to describe my Problem.
I have tested many ROMS here, i mean MANY ROMS.
But i didn't found a ROM without a BUG.
Now i am at the point where i flash back to the Original SE Rom.
I'm searching after a good ROM with no BUGS or Problems example. Youtube doesn't work or SMS BUG or such things.
It can WM 6.1 must not 6.5 but it must be stable and all functions in the ROM must work 100%.
Sorry about my Englisch it's years ago since my last lesson.

Try the unoff rom.
I know its difficult but i need only a better ROM then Original because i hate the panels.
WM 6.5 without any BLING BLING but it must be German or an really good 6.1 with manila 2.1
btw. where is the unoff rom? I searched in the library ;(

try one of those itje roms. he made some of his work multilanguage. i for myself use atm touch it leo 11 and disabled manila. works pretty good.

yea i got same problem... i tried 3 emails and my third was ok
i use itje v11 ger rom.. and i like it
I use now Blackstone 1.05 WM6.1 + Manila2.1, use it about 3 week and i dont find any bugs, memusage is 37-42% and i use X2 panelmanager and X2 keyboard, it's working fine!

whatever u flash to there a bound to have as least a little bit of bug. if u r looking for rom w/o any bug why not try cooking 1 yourself

the touch x rom from smaberg version 10.1 and continued by mrrusch on actually version 10.8.2 or 10.7.4 ..both are very good without any bugs
i'm using blackstone 1.05 now..its pretty good too..the fastest i've tried and no bugs, good life battery....try one of these.

One friend of mine have X1 he use it around a year and he is still with the Stock Default WM 6.1 witch is very Slow and Bugy also the phone often crash.
I want to ask you can you tell me from your expirience One Good fast and stable ROM for X1? one 6.5 and one 6.1 ?
You will know better because you use this ROM`s if anyone ask me the same question for Blackstone i know the answer.
And also i read about the Flashing Methoud via SD card is 99% the same like for HTC Touch HD just the diference is in the file Name

well, most of what you ask is in the sticky section of this thread, but ok, here goes...
hard spl
micro sd method
custom ruu method
I guess that's similar to most HTC devices, though I'm lacking experience there
I prefer valkyrie leo rom (wm 6.5.3, manila 2.5), new UI style (Builds 280**), maybe a little more stable are the old UI style ones (Builds 218**)
about NRGZ roms I don't have to tell you, seeing your signature...
can't give advice on wm6.1 roms though, sorry, as I only use the wm6.5 ones
Radio: I think it best to try different ones, as for me higher versions seem to drain more battery without really improving signal quality, you see in my signature what I finally settled for
but again: that's an individual (geographical) question that in the end only you can answer

Yes thank you for the Info like i say i know that everything is writen in the forum but better to ask befor to mess something.
So i will flash the X1 but i never have expirience with ROMs for X1 for that reason i prefer something close up to the default stock ROM but to be Fast and Stable i don`t mind if the ROM is WM6.1 also the guy with the X1 is not so...... technical and maybe will be easy for him to not have so big change in the phone the reason to wana flash his phone is because is really very very slow and crash often frize and etc..
So you told me already with ROM u use but its a new Build with the 2.5 Manila and always the old Windows build etc will be light of memory usage and faster stable.. im just looking for one Fast Stable ROM no matter from the Build etc

read that Touch X 10.1 (smaberg) and 10.8.* (MrRusch) have good voting
also Phoenix rom (Oobly) is reported to be very fast, all Wm6.1, check them as a start, until further feedback arrives
Just upgraded from wm 6.1 pro to t mobile wm 6.5 official rom on MDA compact V,not very impressed it`s pants,my question is if I use a cooked rom from here do I still have to hard spl the device,can some please help ,
Maybe some links to help me on my way,ie hspl links and best roms ect etc

Yes, you must install HSPL first.
Have a read here to get you started.
IMO the stock ROMS don't get anywhere close to the cooked ones on here. I changed my T-mobile ROM to one of Dutty's and have never looked back. The speed and the look of it is just unreal in comparison to the original. Go for it!
Ps It's really simple to do so don't worry.

I already have touchflo 3d on my xperia, but now I'd like to flash a new rom.
Now my questions
1) when I do hard spl, do i have to connect the phone in tri.color screen or normal
2) how do i exit the tri color screen, did that by doing soft reset, any other possibility ??
3) Which 6.5 sense rom ??? I'm german so i'd liked to have a fast and stable rom which should be in german . I only would use a english rom if the difference is big
4)Equal which radio I have or do I have to upgrade it too
5) can i use all the programmes i downloaded so far for my xperia with stock rom??

1. follow instructions provided with hard spl program.
2. soft reset the phone or take out the battery.
3. depends on what you want in the rom, every rom has its pros and cons you need to experiment to find the one you like. Not everyone does german language rom, there is no real difference except language and what is included. Most roms are very similiar as chefs use standard packages with their own tweaks.
4. you should keep the radio that comes with the stock rom if it works in your part of the country without problems.
5. yes, you can use all the programs you have downloaded, depending on the rom you may have to download a framework program to get the best usage out of your program.

It's difficult to help as you didn't mention current and new ROM versions...
Maybe a task29 will help (search the forum for the corresponding thread).
I finally got it working agaun over usb, so I'm happy again.
But thx for trying to help me...
