and yes i searched for hours...
has anyone out there made a cab to install all the cingular settings? So that way if i use a clean rom i can just run a cab to do the settings instead of doing them manually? Or if someone can point me in the right direction maybe i can try to make my own.. I am a complete noob at creating cabs and other things but am thirsty to learn...
just copy the cabs out of your extended rom before you upgrade to a none-carrier rom. Then reinstall them once you have the rom upgrade complete.
brilliant, im an idiot
thanks
Here's a cab I created that has the latest Cingular Customization cab, Cingular Heartbeat cab, the O2.tsk theme, oldphone25 ringer, menupop to stop the pop sound when dropping down menus (instead of turning off events, which I need), E icon for GPRS, Temporary Internet files on storage card, Show Time Zones enabled, clock on all screens, standard time instead of military, SMS delivery notify off, backlight brightness set to 75% and backlight off when on battery at 1 minute. no notification on GPRS connect and notification for new email enabled.
If anyone needs a modification or two to this, just ask!
Thats awesome!!!
now does that include all the edge/gprs settings and mms settings? Also what do you use to make your cabs? i am curious cause i just started making my own roms... Made my first successful one last night anyway.. i would like to create a cab for various reg tweaks, and also is it possible to edit other cabs? and if it is possible are you able to change the location where its stored? For example.. say i create a cab to install a program from the extended rom, and lets say i want to install this to my sd card instead of the phone. And please talk to me like i am a n00b.. i have lots of electronics backgrounds, and degree's... however its mostly component level.. not much on software and i am very interested in soaking all of this up.. its so fascinating...
Thanks for you help!
This has the Cingular GPRS settings, not sure about MMS because I don't use that.
I use WinCE Cab Manager to create the cabs. A REALLY neat util I found is Mobile Registry Editor It's kinda neat in that you can browse your PDA's registry from your PC and export keys to files back on your PC and then import them in with WinCE Cab if you desire. With Resco you can search for keys on your device.
thanks for the tip.. and i do already have the mobile reg edit already... i love that thing.. its lot easier to edit the reg from my pc than on my device itself!
Thanks again for the help! you have been an invaluable resource in my goal!
Glad I could be of some help. Others here have helped teach me how to fish, so much better than just giving me a fish.
i would prefer to learn how to do it anyway, that way if it breaks i can go about fixing it instead of relying on someone else

So if someone were to complete a competely clean ROM with no added themes, ringers, etc, I could install that and then install this CAB, and it would then have all the Cingular settings. Would the themes and ringers be deletable?
this cab has no themes or ringers, just edge/gprs settings, but no mms settings..
If it's Cingular MMS settings you're looking for, I pulled these from the default 2.25 ROM.. Pretty much just a bunch of registry settings..
Customization Cabs
I'd very much like to take you up on the offer to request: my want is to be able to install the factory default rom (2.25.11.1 WWE) that came with my Cingular 8125, but I would like to bail out just before customization through the soft-reset. I have done this and been able to re-define my gprs settings however there are other settings I would love to have, like text messaging and cingular's smart dialing option. The only portions of their rom that get my goat are the ForcedWare that comes with it: ClearVue PDF (there is a great free, better, smaller alternative made by Adobe), GoodLink and its accompanying files, and XpressMail (which I loath).
In short,
Is there any possibility you might post a cab set of nearly full proportions, only removing the aforementioned junk?
It would be much appreciated. Thanks much in advance.
Hi!
I want to be able to see and input Japanese in emails, calendar, address book etc etc... and am having some problems.
Yes, I have researched, read many pages, done all that, but I get some quite serious problems.
I have read
http://www.aximsite.com/boards/x50-x51-forums/103305-bagojs-japanese-ime-x50vs-wm5-16.html
http://forum.brighthand.com/showthread.php?t=171045
http://www.ookii.org/software/japaneseinput/
http://forum.brighthand.com/showthread.php?t=217045
and I know about ATOK for Pocket PC but have not tried their products as yet.
http://www.justsystems.com/jp/atok/atok_ppc/?w=at
First, I installed a Japanese font, soft reset, and then the input.
http://www.asukal.jp/WM5/LetsJapanNo5.zip
http://hn801.hkes.com/Data/SIP/IME_31J_QVGA_F.zip
I checked to make sure the font is in the devices /windows/fonts directory and it is.
I then launched Word and I could type Hiragana but could not convert the Hiragana to Kanji.
I use Outlook 2007 on my PC, which is setup for Japanese.
However, on the Kaiser, I cannot get the Japanese to display in my address book and also the calendar. The standard rows of boxes show.
My PC is an English OS Windows XP, with Japanese installed and I have changed, in Control Panel -> Regional Settings and Language, for the default to be Japanese.
I also have tried BagoJSInput with little success.
The BIGGEST problem is that ALL of the Kaisers buttons, camera, jog dial etc, ( except for the poweron/off button ) completely become disabled!!
In the Kaiser's menu start --> settings --> buttons, all programmes are stilll associated correctly.
And the only way, I could get the buttons to function again, was to delete the Japanese applications !
Any advice appreciated!

ofiaich,
Good idea starting this thread. It may help people in the future.
Okay, before we get too deep into messing with your device, you need some form of backup utility. I highly recommend SPB Backup, others will no doubt recommend Sprite. Both are totally worth the money, but there are serial numbers and cracks out there too, if you can live with yourself afterwards.
Also, please research to see if there is more than one way to soft reset the Kaiser. On the Hermes, there is a pin-hole stylus reset (brutal reset) and there is also the option of holding down the power button and allowing the machine to reset itself more kindly. If there are two ways, always use the hold-power-button option as it will allow the machine to shut down correctly instead of just cutting the electricity supply.
Next, it is also good to have some files to play with after you reset. So, BEFORE you hard reset, create a Word file with the PPC that includes some Japanese. Call this file PPCProducedJapanese, or something like that.
My first suggestion, after backing up that is, is to hard reset your device so that everything is back to the factory settings.
My next suggestion is to install these .cabs one by one to isolate the problem. Also, it might be a good idea to deal with each problem separately as it sounds like they have completely different causes.
Problem #1:
You can't see Japanese in contacts or calendar.
I still think this is caused by the sync from your English computer (even though it is Japanese enabled). The reason I think this is that I ran into the same problem a looooong time ago with an English-based PC OS and a Japanese PPC OS. However, the PC was a PentII with Windows ME and the PPC was a Ipaq 3850.
After a hard reset, install the Japanese fonts and sync with your PC. If you still cannot see Japanese in contacts of calendar, then try this:
On the PPC, sync over the file PPCProducedJapanese.
Copy and paste the Japanese in this file to create a new contact.
Copy and paste the Japanese in this file to create a new appointment.
If you can see the Japanese in these news files, then you know the problem lies somewhere between the PC and the PPC syncing files.
If you can't see the Japanese in these new files, then you know the problem is that the Japanese fonts not being registered by these programs for some reason.
There are two Japanese fonts packages that I am aware of: Asukal's Let'sJapan and the one at Ookii.org. Try one, then repeat the above process with the other and see if the results are the same.
Problem #2
The Japanese input .cab totally screws up your device causing all buttons to be come unresponsive.
Hmmmm... This is a bit more problematic. The Japanese input .cab makes a lot of changes to your system, but almost none involving buttons that I know about. The only thing I can think of is that the .cab is changing your hardware keyboard layout, and that in turn is confusing your system.
To rule out this possibility, try the following:
After a hard reset, use a registry editor to view the following registry value:
[HKEY LOCAL MACHINE/Software/Oem/Querty] Write down the value and note if it is decimal, hexidecimal or binary.
Then, install the Japanese font package of your choice.
Soft reset.
Then, install the Japanese input .cab.
Soft reset.
Check your buttons to make sure they don't work. If they don't,
use a registry editor to view the following registry value:
[HKEY LOCAL MACHINE/Software/Oem/Querty]
Compare the value you wrote down before with the current value. If it has changed, use the registry editor to return it to the previous value.
Soft reset.
Check your buttons again.
If this is ineffective, or if the registry values were the same, try installing the attached .cab. I found it on Asukal's site and it says it is the patch for non-HTC machines. Of course, the Kaiser is an HTC machine, but it can't hurt to try. Install and soft reset and see if that fixes your problem.
You might try this with BagoJSInput as well but be careful:
DO NOT INSTALL BOTH ASUKAL'S AND BAGOJSINPUT TOGETHER!
Problem #3:
You cannot change the hiragana to kanji using Japanese input.
This is even more strange. Just a couple things I want you to check for me.
1) Are you using the correct sip (soft input panel)? Do NOT use the SIP called "keyboard". Use the one called Romaji. You should have access to hiragana, katakana, english along the left, as well as to a "henkan" button that will allow you to change hiragana to kanji. The henkan button is the one on the bottom right and is marked 変換.
2) What if you try hand writing a kanji in the kensaku sip? Does it appear for you?
Hi larsuck!
Thanks for your long and detailed post.
I am not so inclined to start doing registry edits, u til I know my device more. This is my first Windows Mobile Device.
I did try to install the synch software for TyTn II to my small Japanese OS, Sony VAIO, but got all messed up with 'can't synch with 2 PC's' messages.
Strangely, even though WiFi on the Tytn II was switched off, the VAIO picked up the signal!!
I did have a partial success with the input method shown here
http://www.ookii.org/software/japaneseinput/
but the user needs to know the Kanji well, and get the stroke order fairly accurate.
I could also input in English and Japanese to the dictionary shown here
http://www.ookii.org/software/pocketdictionary/
This input method worked in Word, but there was the need to remember to go to the word menu, and change the font settings to a Japanese font.
I previously installed some Word documents, created on my PC, to the card, and this dispaly fine.
Unfortunately I cannot find any way to change the font in Calendar, or Contacts.
I also sent myself an email, in Japanese, and the text was intelligible characters.
I wish Micorsoft would design a simple input method, I have one for my old Palm that works a dream !!
Ofiaich
ofiaich,
I understand about the registry edits, they can be scary at first.
Did you try to create a new contact and appointment on the ppc using Japanese (whatever input method is fine)? Does it display boxes or does it display correctly?
Hi larsuck,
Yes, bit too scary for the moment, but I will learn about it.
I did try to make a new contact and a new appointment, but the input just showed boxes.
Input worked for Word, and also for the dictionary. For word, I had to make sure that I changed the font from Tahoma to a Japanese one.
If there was a way to change the contacts and calendar font, then I think I could input Japanese there!
edit - I did change my synchronisation options to include email from PC Outlook 2007, and synching with the PC and NOT the Exchange Server.
Again, I could see Japanese in the email, on the TyTn II, but there was no options in the Pocket Outlook menu, to change the font, thus allowing input.
edit 2 - I sent myself an email in Japanese to myself, Microsfot Exchange Server, and then accessed my home WiFi connection and used Pocket Explorer, to go to the web page owa.my-server.com but the Japanese email was not displayed correctly. I have not tried Hotmail, but guess it will be the same. My Hotmail is a .co.jp address.
I have not worked out how to access the exchange server as yet, via synchronisation. I get an error message, but I will post that problem separately.

Silly question, but did you check your Kaisers Regional Settings to make sure they are Japanese? (The Asukal cab should have changed it, but maybe not.) If you haven't checked it, they are under Settings>System Tab>Regional Settings.
Hi !
I am sure the regional settings were Japanese. I have removed that cab, and am using the www.ookii.org one...
In the regional settings now, Japanese does not exist...
Do you want me to remove the ookii cab, and re-install the Asukal cab ?
I just removed the Ookii and switched off then on, and installed,
IME_31J-QVGA_F cab ( ASK_IME_31J) ----- The Kaiser buttons, except for power on/off, do not work at all.
Regional settings do not have Japanese. Italian and Latvian !
I then did the same with BagojsINPUT CAB ... The Kaiser buttons, except for power on/off, do not work at all.
Regional Settings do not have Japanese either !!! ( But I am really sure that my Kaiser did show Japanese in the Regional Settings before.. )
Frustrating to say the least....................
Ofiaich
Let's stick to your Japanese font problem in Outlook and Inbox first. Once we fix that, we can worry about the input. So, uninstall all the Japanese input for the time being. (Or, better yet, do a hard reset if you can.)
Okay, do you still have Asukal's Let'sJapan installed?
That is the file with the fonts. It should also make available Japanese regional settings. (Don't worry, it will also still have Latvian settings. )
If you still have it installed (or after reinstalling it) and the Japanese Regional Settings are STILL not there, then use File Explorer to check the contents of your Temp folder (in My Device). There should be a file called wince.
There is also a file called wince in your Windows folder (lets call this the "original wince" and the one in the Temp file the "new wince".) What we want to try to do is to replace the original wince in your Windows folder with the new wince in your Temp folder.
The problem is that wince in your Windows folder is a system file, so you can't use File Explorer to make changes to it. You need a program that can do that - there is such a program called GSFinder+ It is freeware. Download and install it.
**At this point, I would like to once again stress the importance of backing up any necessary personal information, and/or backing up your machine completely using SPB Backup or Sprite**
Now, first we want to copy and save the original wince that is in your Windows folder. Please save a copy of this file on your PC. Just in case.
Now, use GSFinder+ and copy the new wince file. Paste it in your Windows folder. There should be a dialogue saying something like "Do you want to overwrite this file... with this file...?" Take a deep breath and hit okay (or yes, or whatever the affirmative button is labled).
Wait until the overwrite finishes, exit GSFinder+ and soft reset your Kaiser. Now check to see if you have a Japanese Regional setting available.
If so, select it (or make sure it is selected) and see if you can see Japanese in your inbox or calendar.
Good luck. And remember - no matter how bad you may mess up your machine, you can always restore it to the factory settings by doing a hard reset. So as long as you back up any mission-critical information you might have stored on your ppc, then you have nothing to lose by messing around.
Hi larsuck,
Well,,,,, I am bemused !! I installed Resco Explorer 2007 today, and was thnking about the whole process, hard reset, copy wince over to the windows directory. etc etc
After installing Resco Explorer, I did a soft reset . I then glanced down at my Kaiser...and Japanese is displayed in the calendar and contacts...
Days of the week are in Japanese too so I knew and have checked that the Regional Settings are for Japan, they are.
I have Asukals Lets Japn No. 5 installed.. but no input method
and also The Kaiser buttons, except for power on/off, do not work at all! Therefore, calls cannot be received etc using those buttons !
and keyboard does not work!
I know you have posted above

I have got as far as HKEY LOCAL MACHINE/Software/Oem/
then the options are -
Buttonsetting
Cab
InvokeSIMMgr
MASD
Phoesetting
RIL
SIMMGR
STK
TFLOSettings
UMTS
USB
VoiceCommand
WModem
Frustrating to get the Japanese to be seen, but can only use the stylus !
I am going to install an input system, and checkout Kanji conversion.
edit - I got input working... but not Kanji conversion. I could enter Kanji with stroke recognition ! But of course, need to know the strokes !
An interesting thought The buttons and keyboard stop working after Asukals Lets Japn No. 5 was installed.
Can I use a Windows Japanese font from my PC instead of Asukal's files?

Hi!
final update from me !
in the 'file mamanger' Japanese in song titles are not consistently displayed. i.e some are some are not..... and when I play a Japanese song in media player, the Japanese is not displayed.
One last problem, when I unistalled Asukals Lets Japan No. 5, and did a soft reset, I was unable to use the English text application. The 'enter a number' and 'message' fields had gone. I guess because wince had been deleted by the unistalling of Asukals Lets Japn No. 5.
When I re-installed, I could use the sms application again, but no buttons, keyboard operation.
I get a strong feeling that it is a problem with Asukals Lets Japan No. 5.
I did try the enable_ime2.zip file that you attached, but with no effect.
The Japanese looks really good in calendar and contacts, so I hope a solution can be found...

Hi!
found this thread with a similar problem.
This is the important part
" My phone is a Samsung SCH-i730
-- Note to everyone reading this-
-- Uninstall of Asukal Lets Japan and it is fine
--- HKCU --> keyboard layout --> Preload & Preload\1: default is "E0010409"
-- Install of Asukal Lets Japan, buttons don't work
--- HKCU --> keyboard layout --> Preload & Preload\1: default is "E0010411"
If you edit the keyboard layout registry value above to the previous one it works. For me, it was E0010409. My suggestion is to uninstal Lets Japan, check the registry value, install Lets Japan, and then change the new value back to the previous one. "
My problem is when type in "E0010409" I appear to get the letter O instead of an 0
you can see the difference! So this has not solved it for me, but I WONDER if it is an inputting the number.... correctly issue !

Me too. After seeing that your registry had no [HKEY LOCAL MACHINE/Software/Oem/Querty] string I started to get very worried that Let'sJapan wouldn't work with this device. AFAIK, Let'sJapan is only fonts and regional settings, but if it is messing with your Kaiser, then perhaps it has some more stuff hidden in it.

When you input into the registry, are you using the "keyboard" sip or the "romaji" sip? It sounds like you are inputting full-size block letters instead of half-size block letters. (Full-size block letters will appear wider than normal.) Check your "romaji" sip for a button labled 半角 (hankaku). It should be selected, making it black. This will give you normal half-sized letters. It should allow you edit the registry.
Or, you could try a remote registry editor. It uses your computer to alter your Kaiser's registry when docked. http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/get-ceregeditor-v0-0-3-0.html
If these registry entries don't work, then I think you are right to just forget about Let'sJapan and look for other font packages like the one on ookii.org.
Hi!
I did edit using the romaji input before, but tried again, but still no luck.
The remote editor connects, I can see the entries, change them but then I get "access denied" and can't proceed any further.
I wish I could contact the original author of lets Japan.... but I get no replies from pm's etc on other forums such as Brighthand !
the system from ookii.org never displayed Japanese on Calendar and Contacts..
Edit - I removed both the font and the input, and reset, and now all of the fields in the text messaging have gone!
Time for a Master reset ... and then set it up as an English device...
Thanks, larsuck, for all your help............ I will try ATOK in November, a Japanese friend who is a system engineer on Windows OS, will come back here... and he will help me. The ATOK page here is a bit too difficult for me to understand.
Ofiaich
Well, its a bummer it never worked out. I certainly understand you getting tired of trying - it is a phone afterall.
I'll keep this thread bookmarked if you, or anyone else, wants to try again. Good luck with ATOK.
Hi larsuck!
Yes, so near but not so good to lose the use of the camera button, keyboard etc...
Interesting, I have placed some PC - Windows Japanese fonts into my Kaisers font directory, and using the software from ookii.org, I can input in Japanese into Pocket Word ( need to change from Tahoma font to a Japanese one )
and also input into the Japanese dictionary in English and Japanese.
I wish I knew how to make this font work with Calendar and Contacts !
There must be a way to change the default font for these applications...

Yea!!

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Layouts\e0010411]
“Keyboard Layout”=”00000409″
and hope hardkey will be used.

I'm glad to see you got this working. I'm using a CHT9000 (TyTN One) right now, and am getting a TyTN II in 2 weeks when I visit Taiwan. I'll be sticking English WinMo6, but will need Japanese input and fonts.
The CAB from ookii doesn't include fonts or anything, so you do need Asukal's Let's Japan to make it all work. That is the combo I use on my CHT9000 (Asukal+ookii)
Hi chenga!
Yes, I used Asukal's lets Japan, and also now IME_31J_QVGA_31J and I am very happy....
Remember Asukals advice should your hard keys, jog dial, and hard keyboard stop working!
EDIT.... did a hard reset this weekend and, installed everything, and checked if MSN Messenger worked after each installation.
Then did a back-up.
After that, installed Japanese support and now MSN Messenger does not work.
It's a pity... I can't think of why....

Where is the xml located in the main memory of the phone? I came from a Dash and the home screen is usually edit through the Home folder but that isn't so it seems in the WM pro OS. Can anyone point me to the right direction?
More Info Please !
Phone / Rom etc.
If you mean the BS .xml :
Windows -> BatteryStatus
There you find default.xml
Sorry, I'm talking about the actual Today screen and not the programs. I want to edit my own font size, plugins, and etc via the xml. I'm using Tran's Open Touch 5.0UL . For example, I came from using the Dash which runs on Windows Mobile standard. In order to pick out what home screen I wanted, I had to go install the theme in a folder called Home. It runs the theme via xml and if any configuration needed to be changed, that would be the file I go to depending on what theme it is.
I've been trying to find the same thing for days and days myself. I'm used to editing the home.xml file (in\Application Data\Home) on my StrTrk smartphone. Now I've got a brand-new Tilt, and can't figure out how WM6 on the PPC handles the Today screen. I have a much longer version of this question on MoDaCo; 200+ views since yesterday, but no replies.
I've tried 3rd party software to make different Today screens (Wisbar & WAD), but it just slows down the PPC.
Please -- anyone who can tell us the name of the Today screen's file is a hero.
WM6 Pro is a totally different animal.
No xml files to edit unless you use a 3rd party Today Plugin.
To enable/disable today plugins goto:
Start - Settings - Personal - Today -Items
It is a simple checkbox.
If you want to do some custom xml Today screens check out rlToday. Freeware and the capabilities are good enough.
Note: To uninstall permanently any of the plugins check out Today Plugin Uninstaller. Removing the unused plugins will speed up the portrait to landscape redraw time significantly.
Thanks for the hints. But... I'm well aware of how to disable/enable plugins, and I'm trying to do things the hard way; without using plugins.
All I want to know is how the default Today screen gets generated on the PPC. WM6 is very similar to WM5 on the Smartphone, so it looks as if the difference is the PPC.
How do you set a city that isnt in the default list?
afaik you can only use the cities covered by accuweather.com, and i think they are all included as default.
Can anyone please tell me if you can also see a wether forecast on the weather tab or does it only show you the current weather?
I don't have the device yet, but all the screenshots I've seen of the weather page show a soft button (bottom left of screen) option called 5 Day. I'm assuming that's the forecast view.

It is the forecast view indeed. Gives you the Hi and Low temps forecasted over the next five days with the right weather icon.
Thanks... now only waiting for the pro to be released... I am so tempted to get a Diamond. But then again, I want a higher battery capacity, the flash with the camera, more RAM, microSDHC slot... ehm and keyboard
Accuweather covers every city in the world, the database for the HTC only has major cities, in this case the ones in all the states. I live in Hickory, NC. Is there any way to get this by editing the database or some sort of update?
That depends entirely on where the weather data is coming from. If it's straight from Accuweather, it may be possible to do a registry edit or something similar to get the weather for other cities. However, if the data is retrieved from HTC, it probably won't be possible as they'd only bother processing the data for the cities available on their devices.
I'm guessing/hoping that it'll work alot like the Touch so you'll be able to show your local area through amendments in the registry as noted above and in the following link:
http://blog.commsconsulting.co.uk/2007/07/26/local-weather-on-the-htc-touch/
Ah, well, I'd say that the Touch Diamond would be very similar to the Touch, so a similar registry edit should work.
Jersey is listed on AccuWeather but I can't find it on the diamond

- HKCU\software\htc\manilla
I Tried changing the registry to my city, but for some reason it goes to 6 cities all in asia?
Same thing happens when I change mine.
I thought it was because I was having to guess some of the Jersey code as it displays as EUR|JE|JE---|Jersey on the accuweather side but it looks like there is more to it.
My city is spelled wrong at the device.
Acuweather has it ok.
How do I fix that?
K
EUR|JE|Jersey would likely be Jersey in the Channel islands in Europe.
Wouldn't it be a bit more like USA|NJ|Trenton or something similar for a city in New Jersey????
Yes it would be for Jersey in the Channel Islands - that's where I am though
Be nice to get it working at some point, look's like there is something else that will be changing as well as just the string value as regardless of the value used it resets to 6 cities afterwards
Bad news
Hello guys,
I've managed to add a custom city to manila, but the bad news is, that manial will crash when it tries to download the weatherinformations.
here what I've done so far:
1. xxx_manila-file are SQLite-Database-Files... so get the SQLite Databaseprovider for Visual Studio from Sourceforge
2. Copy the file 2330fc3c_manila from windows-fir to your local system
3. Remove wrtieprotection
4. Open Visual Studio and add a new SQLite-Connection to that file
5. Open the Table "cities"
6. Add the City you whant to add (add one to the maximum id)
7. Close the connection
8. Copy the file to your device's windows-fir and override the existing file (user resco file-explorer)
9. Add the new location to the weather-tab
I will write a little program to edit the db-file soon... so you don't need a visual studio
I'd like very much to have mi city weather. I found the registry key too but if I modify the value with the code of my city it doesn't work, any news? I could try your solution importing the database file etc. but...will manila download the weather informations or still crash. I don't want to only add my city in the list, I want the weather of my city working.
Thank you for now
Hello,
I've tested now some other citycodes... no one worked... manily allways crash. I've no idea whats the problem... the "new city" is entered to the database as any "original". and the accuwaether-site for a city which work and a city which will crash manila are identicaly... sorry guys, but I think we have to live with the original cities.
I'm trying using your solution...I inserted the new row in the database and it's ok, but I can't overwrite the existing file in windows folder. I'm using resco explorer 2008 as you suggested. Any idea?
Thank you very much
