Rom of htc in Orange spv M700

hi, I'm spanish and I have bought spv M700 Orange(spain) but this don't have the gps activated and in Orange spain don't have the rom with gps activated.
I would like to use the rom of htc but I don't know how use it.
Somebody can help me?

Which HTC ROM do you wish to use ?
The easiest way to flash you device is to use the modified ROM installer with SSPL and the shipped HTC ROM.
But you will loose your Orange ROM for ever.

I like use the latest version that htc have with the gps activated.
I have been reading many post but I don't know how it is done...
I have a problem, I can't download the spanish version from htc webpage because my imei isn't of htc.

just flash an updated radio ROM with the GPS activated.
Not sure if you need to CID unlock it or not though. MAybe someone else can answer this.
I have UK Orange ROm and the latest radio version for Trinity Trinity_Radio_ROM_1.41.00.11_by_ZakMcRofl

I imagine your trying to go on Spain Orange website and what did you find ? Is there any upgrade for M700 ?

It will works with any version of the bootloader, and your bootloader will be updated.
For the nbh : usualy I'm using Winrar to do this job.
Just open winrar and then double-click the .exe of the HTC ROM Updater.
Keep only the .nbh in it (the biggest file...) and then use it with the Custom updater and SSPL...

How & where to find correct Official RUU

I don't know, which is the correct RUU for my phone and where to find it.
The phone detail is,
Bootloader:

SPL 4.24.0000
About:
Windows Mobile 6 Professional
CE os 5.2.1622 (build 18128.0.4.4)
Device Information:
Rom : 4.24.720.3 WWE
ROM date : 01/17/08
Radio version : 03.12.90
Protocol version: 4.1.13.56
ExtROM version : 4.24.720.103
I searched in the following places,
1) Official Herald Updates : http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Herald_Upgrades
Couldn't find the one for 4.24.720.3 WWE . Can I use any of 4.xx.xxx.x wwe ???
2) Index of ftp://[email protected]/Uploads/Herald/Official WM6 roms/

It lists many roms but none of them is 4.24
3) All WM6 / WM6.1 Roms:

4) 2 CDs came along with the phone does not contain anything like that.

what is the branding on your phone? Is it a tmobile wing, xda terra or whatever?

It is HTC P4350.
Purchased and using in India.
Not bought from any service provider.

Then register on the ECLUB and find the downloads section.

I am a member already. But in worldwide section, not in India section. In worldwide section I could find the updation to WM6 and someother hotfixes. No other RUU.
Its not letting me to open another membership in India section. Is it necessary to login to the respective country site??
Anyway I have sent mail to HTC. Let me see what they have to say.

I went ahead to download the WM6 upgrade file. When I enter the s/n it shows
"Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device."

You need to register your unique phone on the site with the IMEI code. Being member @ HTC isn't enough.

I did register my phone. (It asked the s/n, but not IMIE). Still I could not find the RUU in the download section.

I registered in the HTC worldwide section. And HTC email service has replied me as following
"We would like to inform you that world wide section and India website link is same."
I am not able to find the RUU in the HTC E-club, XDA-developers wiki page and FTP page.
If I am not wrong, I do not have the correct RUU means I can not flash my device . I don't want to waste my device with the stock rom. Can someone please help me.

It's a different device from the wing and hearld, mainly just the keyboard mapping

This is a bad news for me.
I'll wait till I get the original rom.
(I have to be happy with the stock rom itself. I don't want to take much risk.
These PDAs are still costly over here. I can not afford to buy one more.)

Problem downloading official English ROM - diferent hardware?

i'm looking for a original rom because of the "vodafonized" rom that comes with the JADE in Spain is slower then having an touch S with 200Mhz processor.
i have try to download original english rom:
HTC Touch 3G - English ROM for Middle East
but, when i set the serial number (i have a jade), i get this message:
"Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device."
why? there are diferent hardware types?

nicodbgh, because HCT wont that you install ROM differ from your Jade native region. Thats all. Even you download any ROM in other language here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=483681 - you cant install it without HSPL. This is like patch for mobile. After you instal it - you can reflash any Jade ROM you want.

ROM from TELFORT - NDL

I got problem. I bought Touch HD in Nederland in TELFORT. I changed ROM to my native language. The thing is that i must send phone to service. Its Branded so now i need to change to orginal ROM and i dont have it. Is there any site wher i can downlad it (or maybe someone have ROM from TELFORT)?
I dont want loze my Warrianty. Phone was bought in 06.05.2009 and i have no idea what version it has before. Maybe anyone can help me

It has many ROMs, but if you do not find it there I think you may find it difficult to restore back to original.. You may need to ask someone to dump their ROM if they have the one you are looking for.

This is a NLD ROM, so try downloading and flashing that.

Do you think this ROM should be ok? Branded ROMs have some roms like other non branded? Just have CID lock?

If you have HardSPL installed then CID is no problem when flashing ROMs.
I think the ROM i have shown you is unbranded HTC Netherlands ROM, so I don't think it may be useful for you if you want the branding. I cannot find the branded ROM either on the internet.
You can either:
- Wait until someone who has the ROM dump it for you
- Try to sort out your problem here (if its software related), without using warrentee
- Take the PDA to a thirdparty to fix it so warrentee/other ROMs aren't an issue
- Flash the ROM I have provided and restore SPL to original, then send in for repair and hope HTC don't say anything (which I think they shouldn't, but cannot guarentee this)

ok then, i think i will wait like 1 week - maybe someone with orginal branded ROM will make Copy of his ROM and sen me - hope so. If no - then i will put your ROM in it and pray that service wont say anyting.

there is no need to change the rom back to the original
i had mine running wm6.5 and it came back with the original rom
so that means they flashed it again
they didn't say about anything and also didn't charge me so....

This isn't always the case. HTC have been known to void warranties due to cooked roms on device.

Hi guys I am looking for any compatible rom that is English. I have Diamond unit with Spanish ROM on it. I need English compatible ROM. I tried one from mediafire link above but installer gave me error saying invalid vendor id. I guess I can't just install any it needs to be specific carrier or vendor.

Unfortunately I tried several roms that I thought are English and all of them showed me "INVALID VENDOR" error. is there anyway you can specify ROM I can use with my unit, if you not sure what I have to begin with I'd be more than happy to provide any info needed to identify unit I have.

CID lock (aka vendor lock): put on your device by the manufacturer to prevent installation of a ROM not released by them.
HardSPL: This modified bootloader allows a much safer flashing process to take place since it reduces the chance of permenently bricking your device. It also removes the need to CID Unlock the device since it ALWAYS reports SuperCID when flashing. See the official thread for more info.
