noob q?

hi there i just saw this morning --->

anybody has a good heart that could guide me to install this rom??
im totally noob in installing rom..
i mean any step by step solution that i can do?? to install this rom.
i have 0% knowledge what i need to do.,
im begging for a help.. i really like my tytn II ., and i want to improve it.

i was, and still am i noob, all you need to do is install HARD-SPL and then you can flash roms, i suggest using the kaiser wiki.

Read as much as you can in that thread. Dont be bent on flashing so fast without knowing what your doing. Bookmark that link and read it. I'm not sure if there is anyone that'll take anyone under their wing. Its really all easy stuff to do.
Check out that link and you'll be fine.

Good choice of rom.
Just to add to the advice given above, Make sure you install HardSPL correctly before flashing any other roms. This will protect you (in most cases) if anything goes wrong. If you have a problem installing HardSPL don't get impatient and think it's ok to skip that step.

My advice is really to leave well enough alone.
Don't fix it if it aint broke!!!

I agree. I would hate to see you mess your phone up. Maybe read a bit more before doing this. All of your questions should be answered already if you had read ALL of the how to's. Your questions make me and probley others nervous in regards to your scope of understanding when it comes to this delicate task.

Bricked liquid ??

hello folks ! i received a "kill deal" with an acer s100 liquid ... the guy says that he flashed a 2.1 cooked android version and now the phone can't recognize his sim ... can this damage be undone ? he mentioned that all other phone's functions (WiFi , GPS , Bluetooth,...) except GSM ! what should i do ? should i trade my blackstone or not ?

ask him to reflash the bin..
He might have used a custom rom with a different bin..just ask him to flash some stable stock firmware and try..2.000.16 will be a good one to try..

i just wanna know if this s100 can be repaired . some of you had the same issue ? because if i tell him how to unbrick it , he won't trade with my HD ... so , is it worth the trade ? ( can u link some tutorials because i flashed only WM ) ... i must mention that he used superboot ... he flashed back 1.6 and still no change ! anyone help ? tomorow i'll go see the phone ! i need a quick advice ( ways to flash , progs to use , rom version , etc ) ... i'm noob when it comes to android

dude!!
i did hard SPL(1.40 oilnex)already...
i flashed the energy rom 2 months back and then i again flashed it back to an official WWE rom....
but just 2 weeks b4 i tried to flash nphaibk's [ROM|WWE] 2core minimized ROMs 6.1 & 6.5 & 6.5.x - Overclock to 672 MHz (30 Mar 2011)but not the latest one...
i did MTTY once..
then i tried to flash the rom frm my int storage...
but during the update i got an error(UPDATE ERROR...UPDATE TERMINATED)...
so now my phone(HTC DIAM100) wont bOOOOOt...
plssssssssss help

Hey!
His case is completely different....he successfuly updated the rom!but i couldn't even update ma rom....

The question is whether you are able to get into the bootloader mode.
The posting referred to explains how to get into there.
If you mean your phone does not turn on at all then that's another story.

but the thing is i did MTTY before copying the rom to ma int storage.
now ma phone boots..
but not any further from the Touch Diamond plash screen.

HELP!!!

i come from hong kong and i really need help from all great xda developers.
my OB has a nova8 rom and i install a new kernal [knzo mod]with recovery.
after reboot, my device stuck on the lg bootscreen untill i took out the battery.
i tried to use lg mobile update and usb driver to flash the original v10c rom,but i cant get into the download mod and the desktop cant detect the device,the lg mobile update keeps detecting and end detecting.
im in a limbo,really sad, and plz,get some ways to make my OB back to life.
it is my first precious android smart phone since im still a secondary student,i cant afford to buy a new one!!!

What 'Knzo MOD"? If you have Nova8 then you have the latest kernel. unless you flashed the newly posted, which is for CM7 gingerbread then you have a problem.

im going to test this method this night since im still in school
ive tried to use lg's program to flash stock rom,but i cant get in to s/w download mod with volume+ key
ive tried to flash official rom before and i could get into download,but i cant get into it this,it is disapointing

i didnt realise that knzo mod was the kernel for cm7
after i flash that kernel,i found that it was for cm7,but not nova8 = ="(idiot)

take help of ur parent or some adult person it will be helpful

Try reflsshing the ROM with its default kernel. If you're set on flashing the stock ROM and its still not detecting, make sure you're mounted properly in you're flashing tool.

my OB has been taken by my mother since i tried to fix it at night,she said i was too crazy to my phone.= = MAD!!
now i cant fix it
but i have got a question that i tried to press volume+ and connet usb to pc last night,i cant get into s/w upgrade mode. it is a big problem that you all guys cant fix?
if i cant get into s/w upgrade mode,then i cant reflash the stock rom.it is really sad

Of course it's a big problem. the kernel is the heart of operating system. In Android, not every build of kernel are compatible. So before do anything with your phone, especially playing with kernel/ROM, please... please.. READ THE GUIDE or INFORMATION about it...

Of course it still can fixed.. you must have been landing on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1275315 do you? Guided there...
Before do that,
First, can you access ClockWorkMod via press+hold Power Button, and press continually Volume-Up, till you got into CWM menu?
If you can do it, then wipe date/cache. (to anticipate zero free space of internal memory)
Second, unbrick your phone.

I Have a GS with Kernel LPY, i tried to flash with the Recovery the Panaroid Android rom, but he bugged in the rom updating and the phone gone down; Now my phone is completly black and don't turn on; he isnt visible on Pc and Odin, Who have a solution ? to have the downlaod mode ?

Your only solution is to take the Note to the service centre. Your motherboard needs to be replaced.
You should've never attempted to flash Paranoid from LPY directly.

Yes you do, in at least 13 African countries. Have you looked here?

How much longer is this bricking going to continue? Are people bricking and THEN getting on XDA for help only to find out there is nothing they can do but get the mobo replaced?
