Perfect RSS Client? - Hero, G2 Touch Themes and Apps

Dear folks,
searching for a perfect RSS client. Should sync with my Google Reader Account, but all of them (not only the last 500 feeds like BlueRSS), and as well Podcatching etc.
Any suggestions?
Thx in advance!

I use Greed. Best RSS reader I've used so far...

And why not use the mobile Goolge Reader (via webpage)? Just wondering...

I use Newsrob. http://newsrob.blogspot.com/
It seamlessly syncs with googlereader where I manage my feeds from my desktop. It is quick, simple to use and does what I want. Why not have a look

Well, you do not have free 3G or free WiFi everywhere. Thats why I love to sync / download all feeds before to have something to read.
On my HTC Touch 3G (Windows Mobile) I used RSS HUB, a pretty good tool. Had everything, folders, search, Podcasts, etc....
Still did not find the perfect rss reader for me. Keep suggesting please!

I use Feedr. Its just had a lot of updates and very good. They do a free version to try as well minus some funcitonality.

Howto print from Kaiser to JetDirect printer???

Hi there, is there any possibility to print freely to the jetdirect printer from windows mobile? I found only PrintBoy software, but $50 is very expensive.
I think paying so much for open standard is too much.
Any other possibility???
Windows Mobile doesn't natively support printing at all. Your paying not only for Jetdirect printing, but any printing at all. If you want real printing support, consider a UMPC running a full version of Windows.
I believe, and don't quote me, that there would need to be some sort of windows mobile printer driver to be installed on to your phone and I don't think those are available. but why not remote desktop a computer connected to a printer on a local wifi network to do it for you? =]
JetCet is very good and much less ($19.95). I tried Printboy and dumped it. JetCet had no problem printing a several page PDF email attachment to my network officeJet printer over WiFi;
http://www.westtek.com/pocketpc/jetcet/
For printing from Internet Explorer use PIEprint ($24.95), works great as well, prints web pages in color to a network printer via WiFi;
http://www.fieldsoftware.com/PIEprint.htm
It's too bad that WM6 has no naitive print solution and that different print apps are required to print from different apps.
I'm still looking for an app that will print maps from either Google Maps or MS Live Search......
Jetcet is awesome, way better than printboy. Even though i can only print on 1 of my 2 ppc (tilt and 8525, the one i install it on first will print only) it's still a great app.

Yahoo Messenger for the Tilt

I've flashed my Tilt with the Dutty's WM6.1 Hybrid ROM, and I was wondering if there is a Yahoo Messenger cab for the ROM?
check yahoo messengers website .. they have it there. install and let us know how it works out
You can also shoose from Slick, Palringo, and Jivetalk (there are more). I personally have switched to Jivetalk and it's working great.

The one that they have doesn't include (do) messenging. (ie IM) it does allow to read the e-mail. There is also a beta 3.0 that's out but it isn't developed yet for WM devices, hence the interface isn't touch screen. I have installed successfully on my tilt but since then have removed it. I too, like jive talk simply because of the bubble chat experience.
Have tried Agile messenger but $ 49.00 for IM when there are many free ones is rediculous.
If any one wants I can post a copy of the yahoo cab both 2.0 and 3.0 beta.
Im using slick and it works very well , has an unsharpen effect like windows vista and works fine with keyboard and touchscreen , an its free
I use the SMS version of Yahoo, just like AIM. Works fine.
Wow. Thanks for the JiveTalk Program. I've been using Palringo. Looks boring ass hell, groups were cool at first but then I never use it. Jivetalk is more colorful and looks great. Thanks for that recommendation.
why whould you use yahoo messenger

RSShub Sync to Desktop

Hi guys,
I'm new to using RSS so need some help with RSSHub that comes preinstalled in Diamond.
Is there a way for me to manage my RSS channels on the desktop that can be then autosync'ed to diamond? I find it difficult to type or browse to the RSS link from within the phone. It would be nice if there was a way to manage and subscribe to the new channels and sync (preferrably selected ones only) to the diamond. If this can be done with RSShub, it's the best solution coz the channels can be refreshed on the phone when i'm travelling. Can this be done by using RSShub alone or a combination of other software?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Cheers,
Deep

What Applications and Games do you use on you HTC Magic?

Getting my phone soon, and cant wait to start "geeking" whit it. but instead of starting blindly on the android market and other places to find good apps and games i decided to ask here.
What app and games do you use and recommend`?
I've had my Magic for a little while and use the following apps:
beebPlayer - Similar to BBC iPlayer
Glance - File Manager
gTraffic - UK Traffic Reports
Flixster - Movie Listings & Cinema Times
Quickpedia - Mobile version of Wikipedia
Qype - Find shops etc that are nearby
SMS Popup - Pops up your SMS when received
Twidroid - Twitter Client
Youtube - Youtube player
There's lots out there, you'll spend ages on the Market!
appmanager
weatherbug
anycut
beebplayer - as mentioned above
ebay
ebuddy - multi IM app, stopped using as it disconnects too often
IM+ lite - multi IM app, also disconencts but seems better than ebuddy
flashlight - all in the name
ebay
newsrob - rss reader that syncs with outlook reader
opera mini - find it better than the installed browser, shame it can't be made default
shazam - to recognise music tracks
shopsavvy - scans prouct barcodes to find you better deals
skype
youtube
touchdown - push email/calendar/contacts app
places directory - uses gps to tell you what places are around you and gives reviews & directions (e.g. restaurants, cinemas, banks etc)
You specifically asked about games so my recommendation is "Bonsai Blast", spent ages on that!
labyrinth FULL 2.99
Bonsai blast FREE
Prince of persia 99p
Shazam FREE
Bacgrounds FREE
Imeem mobile FREE
Toggle buttons (for wifi bluetooth etc) FREE
Taskiller (task manager) FREE
These are the apps i use
Anyone know any emulators (snes gba etc) that work with magic or g2 with no hardware keyboard
Anyone now of a good/bether picture frame app?
I'm guessing we'll need to wait till the hero gets an emulator for snes and such. There's multi touch in that system, so it'll no doubt be exploited. Then it should be possible to use it on the Hero Rom.
Caid.

I was also curious as I am considering the Tmo My Touch...I have a bunch of M$ apps from my wizard, and in the spec reports on the My Touch it says it syncs with M$...so does this mean I will be able to use my M$ games like Insaniquarium on the My Touch???
To be honest, knowing a yes or no to this question will be a make it or break it thing, so the most details you can provide would be of great help to me in deciding whether to get the My Touch or just buy a used Kaiser.
Thanks in advance!

Seriously?
No. It is android, not windows mobile. So you won`t be able to use windows apps on it.
It syncs with Microsoft Exchange, so you can use e-mail and calendar from your business.

New news app

I normally dont start threads but this program is worth a look see. It is a new News and RSS reader not to mention that it is really finger friendly. It a all in one news paper and RSS reader that works with all screens and works with Google Reader support.
HERE<---Link is right here
Has anyone tried this program out yet on their kaiser? I normally try to keep the programs limited due to our mem. Looking to Get others info on Performence and backdraws.
What is the name of this thing?
Your description looks promising.
I'll never use person profilers like facebook, orkut etc and I think that might be the reason why I cannot open the link from there.
Does this program require a subscription?
A screenshot, cab and link to homepage maybe?

He is talking about GoNews Touch from SBSH.
http://www.sbsh.net/products/windows_mobile_pocket_pc/gonews_touch
It's indeed an impressive RSS application with some nice improvements.
Im using SPB insight 1.5 and it does have finger scrolling, but that's only through the headline not the actual news story.
ive tested SBSH for an hour or so on my Kaiser ...seems pretty smooth so far
first impressions....if it can only be skinned ;D
