there is no footprints tab to enable before i do this.... if i do this will it add the footprints tab?

PhamQuang v63 does not have the footprint in the rom so you can not enable it through registry. Somebody should make a cab from leo package to have footprint in that rom...

for phamquang yes he didnt include the footprint package in his rom so you cant enable it, even though u enable it using registry hack.
i tested only using dutty's r4. i think it will also works on miri's as he have footprint package in his roms.

Sorry Gaiden, I just see your post on htcpedia...
I just installed duttys Leo R4.
Now when I'd like to copy the footcam-files to the phone in the windows folder, it tells me there is already a file like that, 399k large and from 17.09.
I really don't feel like replacing with a 8.5k large file.
On the other hand, I had activated the footprint tab earlier.

replace it dont worry the orginal one is not working and replace one is only script which is converted to exe file
hmm... normal file explorer just says the file is write protected.
installing resco explorer and then pasting says that the file is in the ROM. Suddenly I do not feel good about overwriting a file in the ROM.
anyone else had this situation too?
like I said, just flashed dutty's leo R4 today on my device.

Copy and save the original one to your PC.
Total comander will do all that job, use your SD card as the buffer (copy files there first).
Let us know if it works
Fantastic, I've registered in HTC PEDIA then I 've downloaded the ZIP, also found Mortscript 4.2 in http://www.sto-helit.de/index.php?module=download&action=view&entry=65, unzipped the files in Windows folder through TOTAL COMANDER, installed Mort Script and finally I my Footprints tab, when I entered in Menu NEW the function was available at last. Its go directly to the GPS camera - no more messages about camera can't not start- . I am just at home and I could not test it totally as I am out of the GPS range, but it seems to work fine.

hmm, well i just started having this problem today. I'm assuming it's a software compatibility issue, but i need to figure out which piece of software. I'll get back to you when i figure it out. in the mean time i have touchpal v3 in my cab folder if you want to revert.
i am on a new flash of this.
touchpal 3.5 was the first app ..
--there are no others.
so at least i am not facing app conflicts..
i am not real sure v3 will work / register for me..
and they say that 3.5 is needed for wm6.1 , anyway?

First HTC Hero is a device, not something that run.
Probably you mean Hero's interface, HTC Sense. AFAIK is not ported yet.

Actually I've uses the Hero Rosie package from Blackstone, and it sucks. Not only it doesn't fit WVGA properly, but like sense on WM6, it's slow and takes ages to load. Plain android is no worse, I should say
i said what I wanted to boy...I too want a HTC Hero UI on my X1...i think it is by far THE best device by HTC..of course there are HD2 and all, but they have come later...

Well, I meant wm6.1 of course. Well, wm6 and wm5 can be ported to xperia, but it makes no sense. Just go to the Xperia ROM section and pick up any 'Leo' rom if you want sense for wm6.1/wm6.5

just use the current startup and the zimage, and copy the rest of the files. It should boot, it did for me once or twice

package_sense_hero_rosie_140310.tar.gz with rootfs_use_if_pbs_booting.img renamed to rootfs.img on my X1. Wifi doesn't work (well, I guess it will work once i put calibration and fix the init script but I don't care), but sound does (with the zImage from the nearby thread), and mic works for sound calls and voice command. Ok, I'll take my time to fix the issues and repackage the image. Still Sense sucks in WVGA. And a small hint to android users: if you want OpenGL and other cool things, launch the camera application before launching your desired app. That'll also make sense faster

I am using base_package0704.tar.gz + rootfs-20100414-f4f483c.zip + system1304.sqsh & downloaded latest kernel from "glemsom.anapnea.net/android/htc-msm-android" of course using drlucky's zImage. However i didn't manage to get sound working (vibrate is), shutdown is working...
Screen upside down since fatsal had to patch android driver for kovsky to initialize panel the correct way. I am not a programmer but believe it will need to be included in system.sqsh. I will give it try with set of files you're using and report on sound as well as overall impressions comparing to what I'm running

tried quickly with set of files above no sound...+ doesn't contain htc sense
as you see from my prev post, set of files I'm using, from gives a custom android 2.1 with HTC Sense look. from same thread "Sound" is among features requested for next release.
we are thankful if you could fix the init script so we can have wifi working

why my x1, have a big problem with rom sense 2.1 or 2.5?
the devices when go in standby, sometimes dead and do not wake up, only solution is remove the battery or make a soft reset, this with some rom with sense, Yazmat, jtie, ecc... roms without sense work very fine.
any idea?

are you using these roms with default setup or with additional applications installed?
do you know if any lock apps are available (e.g. smart lock under start - settings - system), maybe it's configuration/settings related
i usually install this:
htorch, touchresponse and showcase (task manager) + igo8 and tom tom. (i have try without any app. and the problem is present.)
i dont use any lock app, if present i remove from auto start.

Works fine. You need a custom rom though.
i am impressed !!! this file browser is really super.I am using it in my hd2 and from this explorer i can see the sd partition that i made for android and copy files from there to wp7 partition,install xap files

Yes, this File Browser is awsome that's why I started this thread. Install XAP file inside phone + can view STORAGE CARD folder which is the small FAT16 partition where I can copy files in my PC and so files from this partition copy from File Browser to inside Windows Phone Storage and reverse.
Now I will buy bigger microSD card and I will try to extend this small partition if it will work then I will be very happy.
Shame that this File Browser:
1. can't by tied with email client so you can post some file if you want
2. can't connect to Skydrive and copy files between Skydrive and device
it's ok for my HTC 7 PRO`??

Figured I should post here: This app should work fine on stock (non-full-unlock) ROMs now, provided you can run WP7 Root Tools. Just mark the app as Trusted in the policy manager, and you're good to go!
Of course, Root Tools includes its own filesystem browser, so you may not need this... but this does offer some features that Root Tools doesn't have in its filesystem browser.

... Did you mark it as trusted in WP7 Root Tools? Just having Root Tools installed doesn't make all apps run elevated (this is intentional).

First, lets clarify the credits:
RCTeam provided the tweaks in the first place
Sebastiaan15 fixed tweaks scripts to use files stored od sdcard instead of hosted ones on Robociks server (which are down) for his rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1315961&highlight=runnymede+aio)
Prof Peach for creating a flashable zip for desire (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1517975&highlight=tweaks+fix)
all i did was fix the updater script to work on DHD, and fix the tweaks scripts where necesary, because desire uses sd-ext for some system files
what is this
this is a fix for all of us still using sense 3.5 roms with RCTweaks, which makes pretty much all of the tweaks work again without using the offline server(fonts,bootanims,oc daemons...). this changes tweaks scripts to use files stored on sdcard(included in zip). everything should work, except settings/rctweaks/extras/recommended apps(avalible in play store) and updating of the rctweaks. if you find something else not working, please report and i will do my best to fix it.

i would recommend to do a nand backup first, just in case
flash zip through recovery like any other flashable zip
do not delete /sdcard/.RCTeam folder, the files needed for the tweaks are in there!
do not click on update tweaks in settings/rctweaks/extras because it will delete tweaks apk and you will have to manually push it back
i found this fix a while back while trying to locate a flashable zip of virtuous oc via google. i had no idea where it came from or how it works. Thank you Prof Peach for providing a source for that zip, so i am able to give proper credits.

i think it should work on any sense 3.5 rom which uses RCTweaks. so if anyone is willing to test on any other rom, please report so i can add to this post

it cant work, because this does not contain full rctweaks, neither does arhd. if you have rctweaks installed, status bar should come back after reboot.
if none of this is the case, extract /system/app/systemui.apk from original rom zip and push via adb, or copy to same folder on your device using root explorer or something similar .dont forget to set permissions rw-r-r

it should yes. im saying that generally the download does work. might be region/isp/mobile related. i can surely post some mirror, but other download sites have the annoying waiting that i really want to avoid.

huh, not really unfortunately. i havent tested this even in rcmix, because lyoptas camera i'm using has this option built in. check settings menu in camera app, with some luck the function will be there

well, i made a test on my rom, and the scripts themselves work, but in my case camera obviously uses built in sounds(in apk), which makes it not "see" the changes. i looked in patchas roms zip and sound files are in same place then rcmix. so i guess your case is the same as mine. check camera settings
