Problem whit Resco Photo Viewer Pro. - XPERIA X1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

When I sett a pic as Background it does not show on the today screen.
The today screen only shows other pics as background if i sett them whit photo and video an choose "use as baground for today".
Anybody know what to do?

Ste the Pic first with the default App, then with Resco. You have to do this everytime you switch the theme.

Today wallpaper being lighten up

Hi guys,
When I put a picture as the today's wallpaper, the picture is lighter than normal.
Is there anyway to fix it and get the real picture colors ?
Thx
yep, use eg. resco picture viewer or resize your pictures to 240x320 and 320x240, rename them to tdywater_240_320.gif and tdywater_320_240.gif and copy/ overwrite in \windows. soft reset and you are done!
ps. it is needed to have it saved as a .gif!
Or just keep it simple!
Open the picture in the default "pictures & videos", and choose "Set as Today Background". Then it will ask you how much white you wanna have.

Click to collapse
If you set the image under settings/today, thats what you will get. For some reason it uses a transparency value (nowhere to change this here).
The best and easiest solution I have found, is to open the Camera, and view the Album. Browse to the image you want, click it and keep it pressed so that the context menu comes up, select "Set as Today Background...". This will show you the image, and allow you to set the transparency level. Set it to zero, and the image in the Today Background will look exactly as it should.
Works with the Album->Set Picture as Background
Thx guys !

Wallpaper "washed out"

Anytime I try to select my own wallpaper on my phone it applies correctly but its appears washed out. As long as I used the default wallpaper for the theme I have selected its fine.
I've attached a couple screen shots to show you what I mean.
Anyone know how to fix this?
The first is the original jpg for the wallpaper.
open pictures and video then open the picture then go to menu and click save as today screen (image?) change opaticty to 0% then click ok
That did it! Thanks a bunch!

White background in Touch Today screen

I know that there are those that are going to roll your eyes and say why can't he look through the forums........I have done this for 4 days now.......!
The problem that I have is this:
White screen where it should be clear on the TF3D theme. When TF is off the background screen is fine but when TF3D is turned on white background. There is no option to adjust the transparency on a picture when selected for a wallpaper. This option is not there even when using the photo viewer. I am at a loss as to what to do ........hard reset does not fix this either......
Any assistance that could be sent would be greatly appreciated!
there is a wallpaper setting in the tf3d settings...

Background image problem

why i change my background image..the image color will become pale~~
can anyone fix it because i saw my friend omnia wont have this problem
Set transparency to 0% in "pictures and videos" when setting background image....
Good luck!
excuse me, where can i find the setting of it? inside which particular files?
Dont use the 'Today' settinsg to set the image as a background as that doesn't let you change the transparency - easy mistake to make!
Use File Explorer to find the image file you want to use / or the picture viewer (Pictures & Videos), then click to open the picture.
When viewing the picture in the picture viewer go to Menu->Set as Today Background.
When you click that you get a dialog that lets you set the transparency.
Hope this helps.
-FM
or instead of going to the menu for a speedy set, click and hold on the image then select set as background, set transparency to 0%

Can't Find Desktop App Pics

I created a desktop direct messaging shortcut to call my boss, with a pic of an angry boxer dog. Made the pic as a gif and png with transparent background, although it's showing up as black on the desktop for some reason.
I assigned the pic as the shortcut's icon using Gallery, and I suspect that it's converting the background to black, but I cannot find where app pics are stored either on the SD or /system.
Any clues?
