Designed a weather widget; seeking interested developer

Hi there. I am a graphics designer by trade, and I've designed a simple, full-page weather widget similar to the HTC one, as an alternative for those of us who don't have the Hero ROM. Being a graphics designer, I don't have any experience on the coded side of things. I have been shopping the design around to developers and have found only one interested party so far, but he's not sure if he wants to go ahead with it.

heyyy can u add sum sort of flip clock to it? this thing would be better then the htc widget itself with that added to it sumhow
by the wayy this widget looks hottt i hope it will be free

since you havent coded anything, what exactly did you design? The widget looks like the HTC one.

if u look at it carefully it only looks liek it with certain aspects
it actually looks better than htc one to me

Hey it looks good. Maybe talk to koxx cause he modified jsharkey's and has definatley put a lot of work and he would probably help you out or incorperate it into his widget

if someone made this into an app, i would definitelly buy it.

It wont be animated and shouldn't be.

yeah if someone actually turns this into an app for non hero phones, it would be awesome, ive been lookin for a full screen weather widget.

BLS Drug Profiles

Hey, I was bored so I figured I would code this app and throw it on the Android marketplace. It as all of the BLS Drug Profiles based off the Arizona Department of Health.
Before I throw it onto the market I figured I would ask what you guys think of the GUI. Do you guys like the way it looks? Or should I change it, what do you think I should do to make it better? Also keep in mind this is my first app.

Looks interesting. What I can see looks pretty good but you should post the apk so we can install and really check it out for ya.

I wouldn't use blue for the text color though.
In bright lights or outdoors, that is gonna be very difficult to read.
Since this app could possibly be needed in an emergency situation, it's vital for everything to be able to be seen without any fuss or confusion.
Make it high contrast ... white text on black.
As for the overall ui, it's perfectly fine other than that. This isn't an app where asthestics are important. It's not something people will be glaring at for hours on end. It's utilitarian, it's reference. And keeping it simple is exactly what's needed.
One thing I might add at some point is a link to Wikipedia if there is one (at least I don't see it from the screenshots). Or if the material you're using for reference has other online references available to the general public, that's fine too. Especially something with links to pictures to help identify pills/capsules etc. That's just an idea.

MySenseUI [Artists Impression]

So, I've been very intrested how the SENSE UI was designed so I decided to give it a whirl and rebuilt it from the original wallpaper.
It took 20 minutes to design the user interface, and here is a basic artist impression. I've been quick reasonable pleased with my results and
hope to continue building up this mockup. If you have ideas, or maybe we could team up and create our own app that fits along the SenseUI!

I would be very interested tu use this UI.
The screenshot does not show a lot but i love it

uhm, all you did was making a rectangle bottom bar, which we've seen already, and the clock got changed a bit? for me the clock is out of proportions, and the rectangular bottom is not my taste, but it is not actually ugly. can you make without that dark veil over it? as if it was the regular homescreen view?

I like what you did there. The font is nice and the shading/colouring is very well done for the sense ui.
Would you be changing the sense ui clock or making your own widget? I only ask because I didn't think we could theme the clock.
I would love to see more of this actually. Here's me hoping you will do something with your idea

lads, this was never a theme, the OP was just showing you how he would have created rosie, instead of the htc way.

i agree on that one,and i didn't expect to get a skin,just to check if he designed other screens

An update to this impression will be released within the week. A lot of changes applied and multiple samples of MySensaeUI. Some are a lot more developed then the one I posted 2 weeks ago. Look forward to it

iPhone theme.

I'm interested in getting my HTC Hero to look like an iPhone.

(rom is superhero 1.0.1, running aHome, custom theme and bettercut)
And here's what I need to do:
Change the order of the icons in the status bar
Fix all notification icons into the smaller 16pixel size, including clock font
Edit the dialer buttons to look more like iPhone's
Edit the Calendar and Calculator app
Calendar Widget that looks just like the calendar icon, but changes the date
Dock without using aHome
Anyone know how to change the order of the icons, or have any suggestions (other than "GIVE UP NOW" )?

Speaking of which. I'll hopefully be updating this either tonight or tomorrow with a useable downloadable version of the theme which will can used for the statusbar icons and maybe something even bigger like the Dialer!
Updates are going to be kind of staggered after that, though, as I don't have an iPhone of my own and clear reference pics are hard to come by.

Answer to 2.....edit framework-res.apk be as creative as u like! Should be able to resize icons in there,as for the icons order...its probably in the same file,just as xml

Hi all. Marry Christmas and coming Happy New Year!
Just started to entertain myself recently creating some live wallpapers and widgets. And since I'm fond of photography and beautiful people, here's one of them: Bikini Girls Slide Show LWP. It's also an online weekly magazine with the careful selection of the pictures of the beautiful woman. Despite it's flirty name it fully meets Google requirement regarding explicit nudity.

- Are there any opinions if such an app should break the rules and transform into a nude, but not explicit (no porn - just enough of it everywhere already I think) and beautiful app offline the Google Play?
- Would the users be interested to get in touch with the female models depicted here (if the model doesn't mind) via social networks or, even e-mail or phone?
- Would you like an option to vote for the liked model and/or picture?
- Any other ideas of the options are to be added to this app?
