Really needed. Want to downgrade from win 6.5 ROM to original firmware.
There is no such ROM. All phones sold used Generik UK. Look in the stickies for it.

It is the way it use to be...
Camera with geotag, new panel manager, ... came from leaked R3A but they have never been put in the official R3A release

but this damn "new" firmware was only on my X1 for less than 5 minutes..... really NOTHING new...... now ive again my loving cmEX .08 on it its much faster than the "performance-boosted" R3A -.-
i begin to hate SE..... withot XDA-Developers i would resell my X1 now......
What's the radio version in R3a. I still use the version from official R2A, I am kind of reluctant to use radios from other than official ROMs.

I have the X1i and I live in New york, using At&t, when I bought it I had 6.1, but I upgraded to "gtrab SEX1 ROM customization" and had much fun, but would liek to return to 6.1
I have searched lots of places for the stock 6.1 but cant find it....can someone please help, and a few instructions so i dont brick my phone

You can't say that since you don't know where he is from and what rom he got when he bought his phone.
So what country are you from? better what language do you want on your phone? and if you want the original rom you had what gsm provider do you got?
Then we can better help you by selecting the correct rom

Yes...You Have a Point There...But Somehow Considering that he Lived in New York...and using AT&T...but also considering that he wrote...X1i
New Yorkers can use X1i on ATT and grab 3g fine, rest of the US will need x1a for that.
I don't think it will matter as long as it's an English rom.

No its not, bought it from someone who got it overseas.

That's the official SE R3A X1i english(UK) rom
it is available, you can get it off Newegg.com, for over $600.

No you cant, if you mean X2 rom for X1. But in the case of X2 rom to X2, i am sure there is a update service available.

1) I think yes, but little later.
2) SE usually uploads first firmwares to SEUS, for example,
U1 (Satio) has two firmwares now
U1 R1BB041/R1B017 - it was first commercially available as I remember
U1 R1BC001/R1B017
same for W580 (one of my old phones):
W580 R6BC002 - the first for this phone. Stable.

W580 R8BE001
it is current state.
X1 now has:
X1 PocketPC R1AA020 //funny thing that they uploaded R1 recently,
X1 PocketPC R1AA021 //they are customized for SFR (don't know what is it ) and TELSTRA

and, as an Sony Ericsson employee from germany said in the official twitter feed last week - there will never be an Upgrade to 6.5(.X).
and, just to clarify: an se-employee told me, there won't be ANY update coming for the x1. this includes the firmware (bugfixing, drivers etc.), "win mobile" is only a part of the rom.
since it almost a year now from the last update, i believe him.
sad to hear that but it's like that. Se now wants to sell newer phones to make profit. And I think thats understandable. But there are good 6.5 Roms in the Rom developement forum, xax41. Almost original =)

Check the post a few down below yours with this title - NEW ORIGINAL X1 ROMS update 3.2.2010. I believe that is what you are looking for.
i was try to put some ROm from NEW ORIGINAL X1 ROMS update 3.2.2010 but the sony ericsson update service program say is not the original version and cant make online update.... and i don`t know what to do in this case

you don't use seus use customruu.exe
or flash via your memory card! read the guides in the referfence thread
