CM 4.1.11.1 not showing "more" in the menu - G1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I just flashed to 4.1.11.1 and I'm not gettting the "more" button when I press menu. Any ideas?

Yea, 4.1.11.1 doesn't have advanced launcher. It wasn't stable enough to stay in the Cyanogen ROMs.
You can manually install it or find a theme that has it.

Where can I manually insstall it from? NM. dumb question.

Revert Hero apps

Trying to figure out how to:
Replace the 3-screen 'launcher'/home in JACHero Lite with Cyanogen's 5-screen version: Managed to 'push' it in there and delete Rosie but then it wouldn't boot - push'ed Rosie back and it would reboot, but then I couldn't 'clear defaults' on Rosie/TouchFlo and 'Home' (the launcher) doesn't seem to have registered properly :/
Replace the browser / camera apps with the 1.5 versions - is it possible to have the option of running both? I mean having both installed and choosing between.
If anyone can help me get this sorted would much appreciate! I have adb running...

orignal 1.6 launcher apk on cyanogen rom

Click to collapse
When you are in manage applications, there is no home?
i cant find the advanced launch under manage aplications?
Cyan doesn't include advanced laucher... you installed a theme for it. Flash the template and it will revert back to the original.
or adb install -r launcher.apk, or replace it with the other.
yes i realized its the original but i want the original 3 screens and 4 icons per row
You can try pushing the launcher from Dwang's ROM. No guarantee it will work though. I do not know which .xml's were edited for that, but it should work

Default Froyo launcher on CM6

Is there any way to get the default Froyo launcher on CM6 instead of the ADW Launcher that Cyanogen has included (or LauncherPro, or any other alternative)? I found a Launcher2.apk that I think is used on the Droid Froyo build, but it just Force Closes when I run it on my G1.
Any ideas?
http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/topic/2739-how-to-remove-adw-and-use-21-launcher/
i guess another option would be to flash super f and pull (via adb) the launcher then push it into Cy6
EDIT: same method as above but that is for the 2.1 launcher
Here is the apk.
Here it is. I had the same idea and pulled it from super F.
Wow, thanks guys, pushing that Launcher2.apk file worked perfectly!
I do have a quick follow-up question - how can I lock the new launcher in memory? (Can't find an option in Spare Parts). Thanks again!
Can you tell me how you did it.
I pushed it to the right place without removing adw laucher as i want to keep it.
This should give me the choice when i press home but nothing comes up?

[Q] Default CM7 Theme and layout.

I just flashed CM7 onto my vibrant...and I am honestly not sure how I managed to do it right. I have no idea how any of this works I am beyond noob status. I loved the default theme and layout that it loaded with once CM7 was installed but when I restored my information with titanium backup it brought back the old ADW theme I had been using before the fash. I am sure it is very simple but is there a way to go back to the original theme and layout that CM7 loaded with? Or do I need to reflash it again? Thanks...
Go to ADW Settings by clicking Menu button on homescreen. Inside UI Settings -- Use Main Dock Style as '3 Icons'. Then go to Drawer settings and choose the App Drawer Style as 'Vertical Plain'. That should do.
Try and let me know.

[solved] trouble installing Zeam 3.0.3

I can't install Zeam 3.0.3 on my rooted Nook Touch.
In market the device is grayed out when clicking install Zeam. Market installs work for all other apps I've tried.
I grabbed zeam-3.0.3.apk from the dev page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=664149 and copied it to my Nook over USB, then ran it from Astro Filemanager. I get a menu with the option "open app manager", click that but then get a screen with two tabs "summary" and "details". For other .apk files I've installed I've gotten an install button on that first tab. But for Zeam both tabs are completely empty.
Any workarounds for this?
You need to install an older version of Zeam. The version you are trying to install is for Android 2.2 and higher only.
Older versions that work on Android 2.1 (which is what the Nook Touch runs) can be found by searching with google.
Thanks, I forgot about the older Android version on the Nook Touch.
