Hey, before i post this question, i will have you know that i searched first and found one post similar to mines but there was no confirmed solution to it. Anyways, My friend has a rooted g1 and out of no where, his phone started to lag alot and freeze up. Especially when he would open up to use his physical keyboard. He tried 3 different roms, they all have same results. He even tried unrooting using dreamimg.nbh and same problem.. any suggestions would be helpful.. Thanks in advance!

Back up your data and format the card, restore the files and wipe/flash the Rom.
Has fixed some issues I have had
Try another SD Card if the above does not fix it, it might be going bad.
Legend221 just curious but wat issues were you having?
Hello Everybody!
So, the thing is that I bought a brand new DS7 from ebay recently, and it has Honeycomb in it, but about a week ago things went wrong -actually I'm not sure if it was good before. The tablet does not work on the proper way. First of all, I tried to install iGO on it, but it didn't let me to do it. So I can't install apps. And there are times when I can't connect it to the computer...and etc. I was wondering if it has a proper Honeycomb in it...so the point is that I decided to delete everything from it and reinstall the Honeycomb myself. I'm not very into these things, so it's a big effort for me to do this.
I have been searching for tutorials for 2 days. I think I found the right one somewhere here on this website. I've closed it unfortunately and it was opened yesterday and I cleared yesterday's history for some other reasons...so I can't open it again.
So the last time everything was ready, so was I, to do the installing. But, the comp. was searching for some APX files, probably drivers, but it didn't find it. So I couldn't continue the installation.
I've been looking for these drivers for hours, but haven't found anything. So I decided to register to this site, ask you, experts where to seek and what to do.
I lost so much time on this that I shouldn't have...
Thanks for your help in advance!
(Sorry for my English if it isn't understandable everywhere, I'm a non-native-speaker. Cheers! )
Now I'm about to restore the whole device following this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1011654) tutorial. Hope it'll solve some of the problems.

Dude, try not to dobblepost. Its quite better when you edit the first one.
(By the way im not a native english speaker to but i hope you understand what i mean)
Could you write down how far you come. At which step do you stop? And if the drivers are a problem, please post your Computer OS, like Windows or Linux or Mac.
I have solved the problem. Should I delete this thread somehow?

No, you should post your solution in this thread. If someone has the same problem they may do a search and find this thread, and they can learn from you. Or if the solution was in another thread, post a link to that thread.
hah, okay The reason I didn't want to is because I think it's not a big deal. I have pushed the volume + and the Turn Off button then Factory Reset, and waited. Now everything's fine. The problem was, actually that I'd been doing...rather trying the reseting in a wrong way. I thought I should do it in the Settings/Privacy menu. But no. So It solved my problems. I didn't need to re-install Honeycomb as I'd thought the time I started this thread. I believed that the problem is in my HC, but fortunately no, so I'm going to sleep. Minden jót, srácok!
I searched the net and saw lots of suggestions which lead to Dead-End.
I'm facing with a Galaxy S containing UNKNOWN BASEBAND & NULL IMEI.
-- I Flashed lots of firmwares(Including Custom,Official-->Froyo-Gingerbread) and modems(Including froyo,gingerbread and ICS).
-- I don't have ASANSAM Dongle.
-- I have Z3X.
Any Suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
THX in advance.
Wow, lots of answers
I'm surprised with these suggestions,
thanks guys.
I have not ran into this problem myself, and therefore haven't extensively researched it, but in another post I just read someone noted that losing your IMEI sometimes happens when flashing to ICS—and he also said that, if you did not backup your EFS folder, the only way to get it back is by flashing back to Gingerbread.
I am completely oblivious to the validity of what he said, but it's worth mentioning if you're out of ideas. If anything else, it can help you Google a solution.
Here is the original post. Good luck!

you do not state what you did to end up with this suitation. ie when it first occured and if you have done anything after this.
you PM'd me for assistance but you do not have PM enabled on your profile.
More details please and enable PM on your profile if you are going to PM me again.
Hi,
I had the same problem. Absolutly no data from gsm or wifi after a new rom install. I had 2.3.6 installed, i flashed for slim ics 3.2 after rebooting, no baseband. I just download a baseband (you can find it on xda) and flashed it in recovery mode. All is fine now and it took 3 minutes.
Hope it will help.

Good Suggestion,I'm doing that.
I'll report all you back.
Solved.
It would be nice to know what the problem was and how you solved it, in case anyone else happens to get the same problem.
Is there one?
An unfinished update bricked my Mini and it won't boot. I can get into recovery but factory reset doesn't work.
I contacted Jide but I have students coming to use the unit tomorrow and don't want to have to wait.
Any Ideas?
Unfortunately no help from Jide on this issue someone else had that happen and they were to send him a new box. They don't allow you to root so no one working on a custom recovery and or ROM.
I'm with the same problem too, and I am very disappointed, Jide don't help solve the problem, and also close my support request as solved without solve anything!
Anyone find a solution?

Hi,
I had the same problem but Jide were most helpful, first in trying to sort the problem and then when I pointed out that my mini was useless and wasn't there a stock ROM or something just to get it running again they sent me a Zip file that I could load from recovery which if you PM me I will gladly pass on.[email protected]
Edit I have added this edit to let everyone know that has got in touch with technical questions that I have no technical knowledge of the Mini I was just the one who was lucky enough to get the image file.
As I have not enough posts to put up a link to the file please only get in touch if all you need is the file and I will send you the link. Cheers
