Will it also support WWE (as there is an English rom for mid east) which I am not interested in, as I require Arabic support.

Your best option is probably to flash the Kaiser to a WWE (worldwide english) ROM & if you need support for Japanese font & input this can be added to the WWE ROM quite easily.
Have a look in the Wiki section on ROM flashing, HardSPL ect. You can download the latest HTC generic WWE ROM direct from HTC website & Japanese language for WWE software can be found free on this site.

bought my topaz on ebay and went to htc site to upgrade to WM6.5 and for some reason it was not compatible with my serial number.
Anyway made some research on here and find out that my phone came from eastern europe. I have punched in the serial numberon the HTC polish site and it worked...but my question is the rom on the htc polish website is it WWE or polish one?
can anyone clarify whether it is in english or polish?
alternatively where could i d/l wwe version with aserial number HT95ELxxxxxx?
also I wanted to HARDSPL my device and would not let me so i thought i would stick to the original
Official 6.5 ist WWE East Europe version. It minds you can leave English language with this ROM, but you can put your native eastern Europe language,Polish i guess by you (by me Croatian)...In same, this ROM, after hard reset.

I need to send my Legend back for repairs..but is there a website that contains the Dutch KPN RUU? I searched everywhere but I just can't find it...any help if possible would really put a huge smile on my face!
are your phone not WWE like most EU phones? I get to pick several languages (and i can change without wiping), incl but not limited to swedish, english, german and probably dutch.
Does that mean I can use any stock RUU?
hey guys, I want to go s-off but i'm having an asian rom, which means I need to flash it with Goldcard and a EUR RUU.
Flashing with a EUR RUU means that I will lose all the languages I have in my phone? Is there a way I can download languages for my phone? Or at least back up my current rom so that I can install it back in later?

You'll have almost any language if you flash WWE version of stock ROM.
I wasn't able to get a chinese handwriting method from HTC Text Input from Asian stock ROM, but I backed up an HTC IME from it using MyPhoneExplorer... (So I'm just going to replace an HTC IME in the custom ROM i want to use with an HTC IME from Asian stock ROM)
I'm still working on it, i'll see whether it works out or not...

Alas, if you want to have a Chinese user interface, you can go to the market and download "MoreLocale2". You can find ALMOST every language in it.

i'm in Australia at the moment and bought a Telstra Velocity. At the moment it runs with the Gingerbread version but i want to update to ICS soon.
In the Gingerbread version there is no other language than English to choose. I was wondering if there are more languages in this version... can anybody tell me?
If not, is there any chance to get the German language on to that phone?
Because on the Rom it says it is just for the X710b version, so i think i can't take a rom of another Vivid/Velocity version.
I remember on the HTC Wildfire and on the HTC HD2 you could take all the roms for all the different hardware models because they don't change the radio rom?!
Why is it different on this phone? Or is it just a misunderstanding?
The ICS update for Telstra is all ready out so you can update it now. I checked mine, which is running ICS, and it only has English language option.

On my HD2 and Wildfire phone i could use alle the custom roms for the different hardware versions (UMTS frequencies)!
