Is anybody using a GPRS Monitor on this device?
I tried the special version of Efficasoft Smartphone GPRS Traffic Monitor (http://www.efficasoft.com/gprsmonitor_w.html) but i did not work. In the options menu, i ave only wwan1 and that one do not produce any traffic.
Some ideas or suggestions?
Try Spb GPRS Monitor. Work good for me.

I am using Vox device where this soft is not working. As far as I know Wings and Vox have the same version of WM installed....
I have asked SPB for support and they told me that SPB GPRS Monitor does not support WM 6 at all!!!
Efficasoft gprs monitor V3.6 work for me on S730 ( don't use the special version 3.51W ). simple and low cost...

Ok I never tried the normal version because on Vox only the special version works.

Now the Monitor works with my Wings BUT after updating version the homescreen plugin is some kind of disabled.
Could somebody post his plugin entry out of his homescreen xml so that i could have look at clsid and so on.
just get facade and enable the plugin. i made it work with Efficasoft gprs monitor and its on my homescreen with current data consumption etc. it is PERFECT for me

I am using SPB Softwarehouse GPRS Monitor on my S730. But I can not select a connection to be monitored. There is no finish Button for selection. Does anyone know how to active this in the registry?

I've just reinstalled and now it works. Properly i had no clean uninstall of previous version.
is anyoen else having issues with ultimatelaunch? i ahve to constantly soft reset. is it because i have a trial version as opposed to the paid for version?

I've been running Ultimatelaunch for about a month (unregistered) with no stability issues.
Try searching here. They have answered a lot of questions. If you don't find it then post. They are pretty good about getting you an answer.
no issue for me I use it with SPB mobile shell , pocket plus, pocket weather, rltoday
Do not put today plugins inside UL and on the today screen at the same time .... that causes me problems

thanks! that is what i've been doing. so what do you do? i want teh htc home plugin to start up and incorporated in ultimatelaunch
Yeah, make sure all today plugins that you want INSIDE the Ultimate Launch are UNCHECKED to be on your Today Screen.

I am using PhoneAlarm on the Today Screen and the following inside of Ultimate Launch
Weather Panel
Battery Status
Today Agenda
Seems to work with one exception.
If I go to Mail, open the keyboard (Rotate Screen) then go to the today screen and close the keyboard, INSTANT LOCKUP. If I stay in mail, and go back to the closed position, I am fine.... Otherwise seems to be working.
i have been having problems too... since i installed UL my user interface has been extremely lagging. and i have tried all kinds of ways to get it working perfectly like how everyone says it works.
a lot of people says it works perfectly with out anything, but wheni have it installed it laggs up unbelievably...
i even have to put a back up until the latest time in order to get everything working.

i was forced to remove it and back up at the same time. i am very hesitant at trying it again.

To device memory of course!
Never install Today Plugins to your Storage Card, that can cause problems!
Hi there guys,
been searching if anybody had the following problem, then i stumbled on this thread, where somebody might be able to help me.
I had a qtek 9100 before with ultimatelaunch, with today plugins in ultimatelaunch. This worked perfectly, nothing wrong.
Recently, i purchased a Kaiser (to be precise, a T-mobile MDA Vario 3), on which i tried to run Ultimatelaunch. Everything works fine, except after i launched an application & go back to the today screen. When i run tomtom for example, and i go back to the today screen, the ultimatelaunch part is not automatically refreshed. If i just press in the area once, its redrawn. Does anybody have the same issue, or even better, a suggestion on how to solve it?

out of curiosity what did you guys put in your UL, app wise?
My system backs up nightly and I soft reset after every backup. I believe this eliminates many issues with my system.
After 3 weeks of testing, I do not have lockups with this combination.

this is a today plugin which is activated by the kaiser tweak and it shows if wifi and bt is dis-/enabled.
to switch wifi on, i have a button in ul.

does anyone find that activating the htc home screen on start up cause problems? or better yet does anyone have any tabs that they activate on start up?
also having problems when using home customizer. it seems to freeze ultimatelaunch for some reason
HTC Home works fine for me.
All my tabs (just three), have activate on startup enabled.

Problem is that HHC check if HTC Home Plugin is enabled at startup.
Because it thinks it's not, it starts HHC. After making changes, it will try to copy changed file's to HTC Home directory. Because HTC Home is loaded into Ultimate Launch that will fail, and make Ultimate Launch crash!
Best for you to do is, disable Ultimate Launch on your today screen, start HHC and make changes to plugin, then after applying re-enable Ultimate Launch. (Uncheck HTC Home, it's auto enabled trough HHC.)
That should work for you.

When I was testing HTC Home with UL, that's the same thing I did.

I'm using SPB GPRS Monitor. Works great. Ofcourse works for 3G too.

thanks for the info guys. batterystatus doesn't seem to be working properly- doesn't update any data usage though sms is fine. anyone shed some light on that.
lcminutes isn't very user friendlyand spb isn't freeware. lol
is there anything else ?

I ve used this program to. Works ok and keeps diagrams of my GPRS data counter but sorry. It doesnt count any 3G data...
Running a custom setting
My retail Diamond came with the full version of spb gprs monitor on an official CD inside the box. It was originally a ME diamond (now flashed to a European ROM). Maybe certain regions don't include it. Its a good piece of software that I used on my last PDA aswell.
Batterystatus works fine for me. In the options, you need to enable the data counting and select which connections to monitor.
It also needs to be running at all times to monitor. As it's a today plugin, this is only possible if you've got secondtoday running.
I find the best thing to do is use secondtoday with batterystatus on the second home screen, and set secondtoday to auto start when the device does (this way it will always be running)

spb gprs monitor came with the instalation CD of my kaiser, when I install it it was already registered. maybe should check the CD's that came with your phone.

there is none so far.. however, a simpler way (without using a 3rd party program) would be to go to settings - cellular (on the system page)
then turn off data connection.
We dont need such programs with these modern OSs. There is now option in Froyo (and Gingerbread, I hope), IOS 4.2 and WP7 to turn off cellular data when you dont want to use it. Nodata, APNDroid etc were useful when we did not have such options.
Though having widgets to make these options available more quickly without digging deep into the OS are still very useful.
Well, the option is there in Windows Mobile 6.5 and 6.5.x as well, but I think some programs (from HTC anyways as a part of the Sense package) or browsers for that matter turns it back on automaticly without me wanting it to since I usually use WiFi.
But I guess I don't need it then if you are saying programs can't turn on the connection if I don't want it to.

Well, Julien Schapman has made shortcuts to all these settings, so that you can place them on your homescreen for faster access AFAIK he is working on a Live Tile that will let you control everything like the Android Power Widget
