Retero c64 gaming on raphael - Touch Pro, Fuze Themes and Apps

I used to yearn for a decent Commodore 64 emulator & I found Pocket Commodore 64 pretty damn good (www.clickgamer.com). However the original games come alive on my touchpro thanks to the keyboard mapping and landscape mode. Enjoying some Boulderdash at the moment. Anyone else lovin it ?

Console / computer Eumlators ?

Anyone know of a Sinclair ZX spectrum emulator that works properly on the TyTn II, preferably with the keyboard, I'm in need of some old school gaming......
That said anyone know of any console and computer emulators that work correctly with the TyTn II, I don't seem to have much luck running any of the ones I have tried.
Thanks in advance.

it wont run ZX Speccy games....
OMG, I just found that in Russia they were and are real big on the Spectrum and there is an emulator that even works full screen with the keyboard its called UnrealSpeccy PPC.
I could even map all the A-Z keys and play the Hobbit on it. Supports Qvga and VGA as well. Got 50fps on my TyTn II and even had a go at jetpack and it works real good.

Real nice review of it and comparison with other Spectrum emulators for the PPC can be found here

That's funny... I think I have an idea on who wrote this article...
Anyway Menneisyys, are there some news on any emulator that could make some use of the new KaiserGL drivers or the Omnia ones ?
I've tried many emulators (Morphgear, PocketSNES, etc.. and FPSECE) but none seem to make use of the drivers (I mean no fps increase with the Omnia for 2D or KaiserGL for 3D).

Unfortunately some games like North&South didn't start . I will give it a try on Kaiser and see how it works but this reqire digging my long lost CDs with Amiga programs .

Help! I need new games lol

I have a couple spb games but I'm very bored with them. Does anyone know of any really fun and/or addictive games for the Tilt/Kaiser? I have a good amount of downtime at work and I'm always on my phone. I NEED some new games. Any recommendations? What's your favorites?
New Games
Don't know if this helps, but I really like Resco Defender. It's a really addicting tower defence game. Download the trial first and see if you like it, because some people think it's boring while others really enjoy it. http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/defender/default.asp Hope that helps,
Dave

DUKE
Duke Nukem 3D!!! I loved it on PC and someone ported it to PPC. It's exactly the same thing, even with the Atomic Edition add-on! Try looking for "Duke Nukem on my Kaiser" on youtube and you'll find all the instructions on how to get it. Runs best with the 3D htc classaction drivers. Come get some!

There's plenty of information available if you search the Raphael forum for "emulator" or "gameboy emulator" or whatever you're after.

Final Fantasy VIII & Others.

Hi guys,
This is my first post here but I have been a member for awhile now. I have been wondering if it would be possible to get some older PC games on to the Touch Pro. Two Paticular games that are faves of mine spring to mind.
Final Fantasy VIII- I for one loved this game and can't really see a reason why the Touch Pro could not handle it. Is it possible to get this running? Has anyone given it a go and if not does anyone fancy taking up the challenge?
Eartseige II- A slightly older one that I have no doubts could be run on a Touch pro. I have the game myself and I believe it is out there for free now. It's like mechwarrior but better.
Due to the keyboard on the Touch Pro it seems like these games would potentially play very well and look great in their native VGA resolution.
I'm looking forward to hearing if anyone thinks this can be done!
John

[Q] Windows Phone 7 on the Nexus One?

I'e been searching for a while now to find a nice Windows Phone 7 ROM that I could flash for my Nexus One, do you guys happen to know of any? I'm currently using Windows Phone Lite from the market; it works, but it's not perfect.
Yes, I love Android, I just want to try out WP7.
Don't know of any ROMs, but I've used Launcher 7 and it gives a good feel of the WP7 user interface.

Thanks, I'm trying that out now, but I'd still love to find a good ROM.
Why?
Along the same lines, I've been looking for a way to port the Commodore 64 OS into an Android-capable handset.
LOAD "DIAL IMAGINARY GIRLFRIEND"
PRESS PLAY ON TAPE
OK
SEARCHING FOR DIAL IMAGINARY GIRLFRIEND
LOADING
READY.
RUN
Meh, you're all probably too young to remember the good ol' days.

Ahh, Amiga...good old days indeed! True preemptive multitasking OS, intuitive GUI in Workbench, and the graphics and sound fidelity... mmm... in 1987! Microsoft could not boast of that complete set of features in a consumer OS until Win 95. After my C64 I briefly had an Amiga. Then I moved to the States and got an Intel 386 box running MS-DOS and Win 3.1. Faster chip, more memory, and more hardware flexibility, to be sure...but the OS was a giant step back.
