Hi Friends,
I am facing messaging problem on my xperia. the problem i faced that whenever i send the msg, they remain in outbox, and are not sent, later they automatically moved to the drafts folder. But out of 100 msgs i am able to sent 3 or 4 messages. That means all the network settings are correct and i have also checked the settings.
I am from Pakistan and using Ufone Network, the thing is my xperia works fine on all other networks SIM.
And the particular networks sim also works fine on all other sony ericsson, nokia mobile, just the particular combination of that network (ufone) sim and Xperia are not working.
On the advice of Network Helpline, they also issued me a new sim that maybe a sim is having some problem, but still the problem exist.
I also flashed the Xperia, and is having default R3A Software Version.
Any Assistance or help will be appreciated
Thanks
Jade

I've got an Orange UK Kaiser and it was working nicely. Then I had it unlocked using the service from http://www.imei-check.co.uk. I can use a Vodafone SIM to call and text without any problem. However when I tried to use 3G connection to browse the internet, it automatically tried to connect via Orange Internet and then failed, not surprisingly. So, how can I set up the phone to use Vodafone's 3G network instead of Orange's? It seems I can set up a new connection but I have not a single clue how to do it. I apologise if this is already asked and answered on the forum, I really couldn't find it. So, could anybody please point me to the right thread, or tell me how to solve the problem? Many many thanks.
Just google for vodafone's GPRS connection settings and either create a new connection or replace the orange one's details in start, settings, connections tab, connections.
problem solved, many thanks for the help.
Hope Someone can help me and its a sinple fix
Me and the family have just moved to Western Australia from the UK
I was on Vodafone in the UK and purchased a Vodaphone sim in Oz
When putting it in the phone all works well (sms and calls) but no internet
I bought the same sim for my wifes phone (HTC Desire Z) and she gets sms, calls ad internet
I thought maybe its the sim but i swapped them over and the same thing, she has everything on my sim and i only have sms and calls on her sim
Ive tried the turning on mobile data in the settings and that did nothing
Ive rebooted so many times i cant remember how many
Im thinking it maybe time to get a new phone and get rid of the 2X
Hope someone can help

This should be easy to fix. You need to create an APN for your network. Usually this can be done by visiting your providers home-page, look for something resembling "Internet and MMS-settings" and follow the instructions. Some providers send the settings directly to your phone via SMS, some install them via 3rd party tools, some require them to be entered manually. This should be all you need to do.
Check your APN settings

I see this issue since I subscribed 3G few weeks back. The screen comes on by itself with a popup of SIM Refresh.I am on stock LR6 with network set as GSM/WCDMA as required for 3G.It seems to appear even when the data is disabled .Any one has any solution ?
Ok , I called Vodafone and they advised to replace the SIM with a new 3G SIM.After then the problem seems to be solved...
Two days ago, out of a sudden my phone stopped connecting to the carrier (Rogers, Canada). I can't call, send text, or use data at all. When I go into Access Point Names, my Xperia Z shows the lterogers.apn installed. If I go into Service Providers I can see a list of Canadian networks, I've tried connecting to the LTE, 3G, and 2G networks of Rogers to no avail. Also, I tried my SIM in a Nexus 5 and it works, I also went to the company and there are no issues with my account at all. Any advice on how to solve this?

Hey guys
I'm having the exact same problem! Haver only had the phone a month - previous xperia z replaced due to sudden death - and then this morning I lost my mobile data connection, closely followed by my entire reception. I've repaired/reset the phone multiple times, all per Sony's instructions without any luck. Hoping someone around here has a fix for me!!! At the moment just bashing my head against the wall with this phone and its issues!

Hi guys,
I'm having network connection problems I recently purchased my RAZR I, was informed it was unlocked,
however when I insert my 3 sim, I get the message " Cannot connect to network at this time, please try again later" !
The phone doesn't display any sim error messages, I've purchased a 16 digit unlock code, in case its locked,
but am unable to enter it into the phone as no error screens pop up, I've tried android codes which are
supposed to "call" the "enter code"scene, but without success.
I can't find a working code for the "engineer mode" either....
I've changed radio mode to "gsm only" (I'm in the UK)...
I've rebooted, factory reset....etc etc
Phone info screen states... Network unconnected
GPRS. off
I'm at a loss... How do I remove the "little red triangle", emergency calls only & connect to a network so I can use the phone.

Which software is installed?
Which provider do you try to use?
Is the sim card working in an other phone?
If you manually search for a network, do you get any choice?
Phone is running stock ROM ... Jelly bean.
I'm trying to use my Three Network sim which works fine in other phones.
I've manually searched networks... Results show 3, Vodophone, o2 & Orange... Selecting 3 brings up same "cannot connect at this time...." message.
I've checked APN settings, they're as they should be !
Thanks for quick response...

Which exact software is running? Please the full image string.
That would show for which country/continent the phone is setup. Maybe you also just need to call Three Network and ask if they see some error on their side.
Stats are as follows...
System version
91.2.29001.XT890.Retail.in.GB
Android
4.1.2
Kernel version
3.0.34-g261995f
[email protected]))
Build number
9.8.21-50_SMI-29.1359955748
As the phone won't register on the network, Three are unable to test the connection ! Plus my sim works in all my other phones.
The RAZR I is reading the sim as my contacts import to the phone, so I don't think the sim jacket is at fault either....
Hope this helps...

Oh ! I've also checked the IMEI number online & as far as I can tell its not blocked...
Come on guys any ideas.....

No idea now. It could be a broken phone or a broken sim. Maybe one metal contact on the SIM is broken, or something like that.
I've been in touch with Motorola, there answer is a factory reset.... I've tried a few sims and all are recognised ( the associated APN loads every time...) but still no network connection. I've also checked the antenna connections to ensure contact is being made....
Could this be a software issue? The phone is rooted, can I use ADB to alter IMEI ?
Thanks in advance...
