Try to tap on the clock on your hometab to get to the WorldClock, click back and the weathertab should work....will try to find a fix for this.

Put the mp3-file in the root of your memorycard, then choose it from Sounds & Notifications.

I have cooked in a better version of EZinput, so it should work now.
anybody encountered problems when launching Opera 9.5? It takes forever to load, even just after hard reset. thanks.
I really don't get it !!.....this rom si excellent but for me its far from usable for several problems......what I really dun get is why none of the expert chefs seems to consider cooking a 6.1 leo.....if this rom had some of errors in settings and video playback fixed it'd be the perfect rom....ppl need to try this to feel the speed difference !!

The speed is quite amazing I found with WinMo 6.1 and Manila 2.5.
I don't understand why so many people have said that 2.5 doesn't work on 6.1. It does. It just needs some experiences chefs to iron out the bugs.
WinMo 6.5 has really grown on me. However, the speed of Manila 2.5 on WinMo 6.1 is actually very good.
I wish some of the chefs would see this =(

Good ROM and very smooth but why i youtube is not cooked in? I install it but it's not working "This video cannot be played" why??
This is a very stable and fast Manila 2.5 ROM!

Bugs I've noticed:
- Opera is not able to start
- HTCAlbum does not play any videos
- Camera button starts camera app, but you cant use it to focus / take a picture
- When you change in HTC Sms to landscape, the screen does not fit properly
Other things that might be my fault:
- The language of the hardware keys can't be changed properly. I edited the regkey to 407 (german). y became z but symbols are still wrong.
- you cannot disable 3G

Flashed another ROM and it worked again. Any solutions for that?

Ok...there are many with manilla and all the htc goodies....I personally have gotten used to the plain ole sony version....so after awhile of looking around,reading..I finally decided to try to cook one up...I took the oem packages from the R3 rom which the rom master Itje was gracious enough to allow us to play with, the Kovsky Kitchen and the UK R1/R2 original roms...and put together a generic so to speak rom with some tweak programs etc.Will post it up in alil bit... Be kind...lol....
My purpose for this rom was to give the stock look, some added programs that are used all the time,speed,and full functionality.

Do you have the security settings disabled to where u can install uncertified programs? If you don't have that the configuration will just skip those cabs.

You know when u bought ur phone and u first installed a program it gave u a pop saying are u sure u want to install this program? If that is enabled then it won't auto install

If you don't like tf3d i'd suggest making a nice custom rom for spb mobile shell. Well if u don't like panels that is

udK i just flashed your rom, I love it. I find it stable, and battery consumption is nice. I was torn between itje's new 6.5 and your rom, so I decided to give a reputable new cook of the X1 a try. And I like it! No bugs found yet, just one question, is there a way to add a PROGRAM tab in TF3D?

never tried udk before but this rom is very nice its like a mix between itje and jack put together hehe ...very nice!!
-first loading time was a bit more i think but after that everything seems nice, programs menu from tf2 is missing but i can live without it seeing as every icon on the programs folder has the new theme to it. also i would say you should take out the "G-Sensor" menu from settings (afaik xperia has no sensors?)
-new communications manager is nice i like it
-the font size is perfect
-speed is nice
-also everything is finger friendly 100%
-the link with facebook works but it doesnt seem to have the menu for it to work in the favourites?? ...i dunno maybe its me but i cant get it to work?
-how do i check on battery life better because the "power" is missing from settings??
-please tell me about this push page thing?? is it like rss feeds?
overall very good work its perfect as it is tbh nothing big although i will try and review a bit better in a bit just at work at the moment
EDIT: also when screen goes black ...i press the on button and it comes on and goes black and then comes on again... its ok i can live with it not bad thing but annoying lol. i will try a reset.

I have to say this is a beta?! really? doesn't seem like it, its fine! i love it. 1 thing i like about it is that its 1 of the only roms that is using the normal htc black theme in tf3d2. All the other roms are using the new tmobile theme which i hate personally. Dont use the tmobile the udk!

Very cool ...I use that one myself...R2 rom gives me issues with a call forwarding icon that doesnt go away. This one basically has the same tweaks etc.....only bug it has right now is opera browser doesnt see the sony index page....easily enough fixed...just manually set it to whatever page you want....Haven't seen a fix for it yet and the Touch IT keyboard is fickle sometimes. Everything else works as it should....sorry but my level of expertise in this stuff is limited...but Im learning.

Quick thing - Media panel issues are same as in itje's ROMs. To fix download new panel manager from itje's ROM.
The Touch-IT keyboard is a bit more user friendly than the previous XT9 version. Opera doesn't work with iPlayer now but, this is easily fixed by adding
Custom User-Agent=vodafone/1.0/SEX1i/R1AA Opera/9.5 (Microsoft Windows; PPC; Opera Mobi/2141; U; UK) UP.Link/6.3.1.20.0 to the User Prefs section in Opera.ini
I can also confirm that sitelisters suggested fix for the Media Panel issue worked for me as well.
These are minor issues though. This ROM just keeps getting better and better...
Used the latest mxp that I knew of....fixed [email protected] start page...removed XT9 Keyboard....

I have a request for a ROM... WM6.1 with 2.1.19Manila, like in Valkyrie3.4.47Topaz and preferably the same drivers Agent uses. To me this would be a perfect ROM. Speed would be great, usability nice from new manila and working HTC volume slider.
Any other votes for a ROM like this? Obviously it's not worth Rotastrain's time to build a custom ROM for only one user, but if many people want it maybe.....

The main focus of this rom is to work with SPB shell but still sporting the 6.5
bottom bar.
This will be a first beta version, if u are not into testing stuff please donot install this ROM. It contains some bugs as i have seen and i will work on those.
Pretty sure u need SPL 1.56 to flash this and i have radio 1.17 installed.
If this thing makes ur phone blow up and u need plastic surgery? I will not be the one paying for it. So use it at ur own risk.

Hi guys,
After the installation the basic 6.5 screen commes up, it is advised to reboot the device. After that
the phone pin menu will poppup. Delete the voice shortcut in the windows startup drawer since it won't
work and just nags for missing stuff. You can then just disable the usuall windows today screen and install
SPB Shell 3.5. Don't use the MS comm manager for now but the SPB plugin. Other then that just get the cabs
and apps u want to install. I have seen that some apps like tomtom and SPB shell can only be installed into the system
partition, but the tomtom maps can be installed on the memmory card in my documents.

This is great idea.
I am now using PhamQuang V67 23420 with MS 3.5 and the blatant flaws. I have been looking around for a compatible rom and now there is even a dutch one. Will try it this weekend.

I tried your rom, It has the same problem with SPB as all roms i tried except B!ch0ns rom.
When you have a missed call, a missed call icon appears on the top task bar. However when you click on that, it doesn't take you to the missed call log, no matter how many times you click .
this is of course after installing mobile shell, otherwise it would work normally.
Hmmmm, not a stable ROM, what experience have other users?
Looking forward to the next build of this rom.
For now I am going to try PhamQuang V72 with Manila 2.1 instead.
