I tried searching the topic in numerous different places but found guides for phones other then Dream. Let me explain what I wish to do. I want to change the 2nd boot screen. Not the black & white "T-Mobile G1" screen, but the one that follows it. I just want to really take the boot screen from one rom/theme and place it inside of another. Is this at all possible without unmaking the entire rom/theme?

Unless he's talkin about the 2nd splash screen that we use to have before we went to the death spl. Then you can change the 2nd boot screen.

You tryin to make me get technical this late in the day. Remember back in the day before we loaded up the danger spl we had splash1 and splash2. The T-mobile screen was on both splash screens. And when you changed the splash screen splash1 would appear for just like 2 or 3 seconds and splash2 would appear for about 20 or 30 seconds until the animated gif came on. Then when we loaded the danger spl that eliminated splash2 to create room since that overwrite everything. Do I need to search and show proof of this cause I would love to throw it in your face.
And it's not the rom that overwrites splash2 its the spl.

It's ok, I'm takin my vacation in November which it looks like I really need it. And B-mann just like we was talkin bout readin code after awhile everything just runs together and it seems that applies to everything else. But dam it I was really tryna bust david's balls [no homo].
Perhaps I can take care of it better than supreme can, he seems a bit tired. Go take a nap dude. Oh yeah, and I wrote a full tutorial on it anyway. He wants to know how to change the boot animation (which is neither splash1, or splash2), which is relatively simple.
@SG_Shadow: the process you're looking for is simple, and theres a video tutorial in my signature. All you have to do is open the theme zip, find and open the framework-res.apk, navigate to the assets folder and extract the android-logo-mask and android-logo-shine png files that you want to use. Then take them and place them in the exact same location in the new rom. Use the autosign batch file that can be found in the themes forum to sign the rom, then flash it to your phone.
There is actually a way of doing this without having to flash the entire rom, but it involves extracting most of the central rom files so you're essentially just flashing a theme, but you dont seem like you've fiddled around with these things enough to get into that.

hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone has gotten their hands on this new cab that is suppose to turn our kaisers into a plunger. As of right now i've got all the upgrades such as the Irazor cab, ispatula cab, and even the infamous irobot cab, but can't seem to find the plunger upgrade.
Any help would be appreciated and please don't hate me.

My Kaiser was a plunger without any upgrades/cabs etc. 1 minute in water
After all it's got 12h nap under fan to dry out.

Sure! At first display was full of water stains, now there is only one blurry stain (looks little ****ty because of mould-brown color ) near left edge, but still it is full working PDA. With some issues with hw keyboard - CAPS and first three columns from left not always (1/50 times) works, but it's acceptable.

There is actually this very technical procedure that you can do.
You first gotta cut your diamond in half, then take a G1 and cut the keyboard out. You glue the two pieces together and you will have a GDiamond.

You can take a butter knife and apply hard pressure to what you think would be the middle of the phone. When you hear a few cracks and the screen breaking, you know your on the right path. Good luck.

I was wondering if anybody could please make a DBZ boot animation? Ive been trying to create one following the steps on youtube but they never seem to work properly. Lol call it the inner child in me, but dam dbz used to be my favorite show back in the day. If someone could do this i would really appreciate and i know a lot of others would probably to. Try rebooting the phone?
I had a similar issue with widget locker and i think i rebooted and it fixed it.
I just uploaded from my picasa album instead of from my SD card...and it worked.
