Hi,
I've got an Alpine (Qtek 2020i) and use a cheap prepaid card (Yesss) to phone.
Now I'd also like to have GPRS internet from One.
Now I found http://mobile.brando.com.hk/SIMMAX6in1.php.
I sounds ABSOLUTELEY great but I'm not sure if this works on my device.
Can anybody give me an advice if it will work?
How is changing the SIM handled?
Both SIM cards would be from the same networking operator, but one SIM would be a data-only card and the other the speach-only prepaid card.
Thanks in advance!!

I even use MultiSIM 10 with 4x scanned simcards(it was 6, 2 died...).
Works excellent. No need to reboot phone to change provider, as it was on Symbian devices.
hello all. this question may be stupid, but esentially for me: can i made 2 sim cards to work both on my diamond in the same time? I mean to can receive a call on the orange sim card and to receive also to vodafone sim card without to be need to change the sims, or to change the operator? to function both.
I guess there are a couple of mobiles (with two antennas) able to do that (seen one, can't remember the brand and model). With only one antenna what you can do is clone both SIM cards into just one and with a reboot you have the option of starting up with one network or the other (I reckon you can have more than 2). I don't know if it's possible with current SIM cards and can't remember the hardware and software needed to do that.
Oh.. And it's illegal The best option is to have more than one mobile
yes i know about that devices that have 2 antenna's. i was wondering if i can do it on diamond. i know also about that method with 2 sim and after restart to choose the network operator. thx for the answer.
hello i want to get a dual sim card so i could have 2 sims in my phone at the same time. did anyone here ever try it does it work well ???
thanks
6 in 1 sim instead of dual sims.
Hi mate
Use one of those 6 in 1 multi-sim from http://www.magicsim.com/en/multi-sim.asp?new_id=4. You dont need to use dual sim anymore. You can get one of those for cheap at www.dealextreme.com
Hey everyone, apologies if this has been answered but I couldnt find a clear cut explanation from searching.
I have the single sim varient of the phone and I'm aware that its possible to place a second sim via an external cable.
I was wondering if something like this would work for a single sim variant?
It's a product from Simore and its a dual sim hybrid that allows the use of two sim cards and the micro sd card.
It mentions that its made for dual sim but could someone explain to me why it wouldnt work with my model?
Asking before I make the purchase.
Thanks for all your help
Hello just bought the phone, everything is fine except that although it's a dual sim phone and according to many sites like gsmarena have a dedicated slot for sd, can't find any single guide that explain how to have sd card & dual sims enabled. Anyone can step in and help a bit? ty in advance
It's a hybrid SIM device so You can use SIM+SD or 2 SIM cards at the same time. For "full Dual SIM" You would need an adapter like this one:

I use one with my Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and it works fine. However I don't have full cover case for my Z3 Play, so I dunno where I could hide this thing.
