ANyone else have these problems?? - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Windows Mobile ROM Development

I've used several different roms now. 2.1, 2.5 versions etc.
I've noticed with all however that MMS doesn't work. Also email doesn't work as push (livemail)
When I return to stock HTC rom, both work fine?
I'm in the UK on O2 network.

I totally agree
Mire 21864 version 4 Premium Manila 2.1 is the ONLY 6.5 ROM which is BUG FREE, i have downloaded about 60 over the last month and never lasted more than a day before having to revert back to the original, The Rom mentioned above has now been on my phone for a week and its fantastic, Download it and then get back to me, there is a fantastic add on to go with it. Good Luck.

MOD EDIT rude comments removed pm sent

I'll have a look mate.. it was the NRGZ roms I was having issues with

Very strong comments re NRG Roms - anyone reading this might also want to keep in mind that an awful lot of people use his ROMs and find them good.
With all the custom ROMs, it depends on what you use them for. I don't use MMS as it costs on my monthly plan whereas email is included.
I have had no problems with email or any of the things I do use it for, except for an issue with Vociecommand that someone has recently posted a reg fix for that seems to have worked. It is a vast improvement over 6.1
Having said that, I do not use Manila at all (preferring SPB Mobile Shell) and so do not care about any bugs etc in that.
As I said, it all depends upon each persons needs.

Ok... without getting into a who's rom is better argument etc.
I'm in the UK, on O2 network.
I use :
SMS, MMS, Youtube, opera.
Any rom running perfect with all of the above?

Just testing now - but am on vodafone - but was on O2 previously and had MMS working fine (eventually)

SMS - Fine
MMS - Fine (just tested)
Youtube - (standalone app tested - seems fine)
Opera - fine.
On Vodafone UK using NRG Rom 22 September
Are you sure the MMS settings for 02 are going in OK?

I'm downloadng NRG latest 2.5 and also the Miri rom at the moment.
I've spent ages playing with different roms in the past, but not found one that has everything working.
I'm well aware of 2.5 landscape issues etc.

Where do you put the specific MMS info?
I put in carrier information etc in the connections/dialer section if that makes sense. It works fine with stock HTC rom, so obviously doing something correct.
These are the settings I used...
“Select a Modem” should be set for “Cellular Line (GPRS)” or “Cellular Line GPRS/3G”
Now click “Next” to start inputting the operator specific settings.
O2 (note different settings for Contract and PAYG)
Access Point Name (Contract): wap.o2.co.uk
Access Point Name (PAYG): payandgo.o2.co.uk
Username (Contract) o2wap
Username (PAYG) payandgo
Password: password
Tap “Advanced” and make sure both tabs have selected “Use Server Assigned IP Address”
Tap “Finish” then Tap “Proxy Settings”.
Select “This network connects to the Internet” and “ This network connects to a proxy server…”
Tap “Advanced” then WAP. Server address is: 193.113.200.195: Port 9201. Tap OK
Tap Socks: Server is 193.113.200.195: Port 1080. Type: Socks 4. Tap OK 4 times to finish.

will need to look back on my old touch pro - I had an xml file/cab that I ran after each flash that sorted the MMS stuff out.

To tell you the truth I dont own a Shadow I built this for a friend of mine.
He tells me everything works with no problems.
Test it let me know what you think.
myhtc I downloaded your ROM first thing this morning. I've been using it all day. I followed the directions on how to install and it worked with no problems, it can't get any simper then that. So far everything I have tried works. I noticed you have the clock on the lock screen that alot of the ROMs don't have. I like the idea you added restart to the settings. Email works good and images are sent and received same size. I am having a little problem with sending and receiving images from MMS, but I don't know if it is because my signal isn't that great and even on WIFI it seems to be having problems. But I keep losing WIFI connentions.i will test it more and get back
Thanks for the reply please do let us know if your having connection problems it does sound like it not that there is anything I can do about it but it would nice to know its not the ROM.
this rom kicks ass
Q: is this rom cid unlocked already
mms is working and the images are sent and received same size. signal isn't that great at my home its not the ROM. and the wifi i have had problimes with it on the phone since I bought a new Linksys ultra range plus router

No it’s not.
My understanding of the CID unlock is that it’s only important when flashing an Official ROM and not necessary for a cooked ROM.
Reason cooked ROMs require softspl to bypass security checks, Official ROMs from other providers can be flashed after being CID unlocked without softspl.
This is just my understanding and it could be very wrong.

@liljay: will do. Just wanted to let you know that I'm by no means an expert with this stuff The Shadow is the first one i've ever worked on. The only reason people might of thought my work was good is that because until Hikey and -MyHTC- made ROMs, mine were the only option for wm6.1.
btw, -MyHTC-, which phone's XIP partition did you port from? I did it from the Q, but didn't know if there were any other options.

Not trying to cut in on the fun (getting a new ROM) but if you don't already know.. the way ROMS go.. there isn't so much as one being better than another.. its more of a matter of a ROM made with the developers thoughts, likes, and ideas in mind.. as how he/she thinks it should be..
so to say that one is better than another comes off as a bit insulting..

I believe there is a post here on the forum I have recently read about this such thing.. we don't need to make comments about making one person better than the other or saying one person's ROM is not as good as the other.. we are all at differ stages of the learning curve..
I agree, perhaps even more a matter of user preference. Both ROMs are very well done, however I happen to like ND4SPD's developer 1.1 edition, cleansed of all the T-Mo extra's.
It's fantastic to have these options.
Thanks ND4SPD & MyHTC for all your hard work.
First of all, really nice job on the rom. It's a lot more organized than mine, for one.
I did find one bug and it confirms kron2's problem. The WiFi loses signal intermittedly. I'm pretty sure its not my router because I have successful connections with a laptop and a desktop to the network. Which WLAN files did you use? If you used the emulator ones, I think it should work. If that doesn't you need to use the Shadow's WLAN SYS files.
I think we need more people to look in to whether the wifi keeps going out because I have the same problem on the t mobile rom I just went back to so I can ship it back to t mobile

I compared all WiFi files from the Shadow WM6.0, Dopod WM6.0, Emulator WM6.1 and this ROM they are all the same.
Then I compared the drivers from the Shadow WM6.0, Dopod WM6.0 and this ROM they are all the same.
So I can assure you that any ROM built with WM6.0 or WM6.1 will be using files and drivers.
Any issues with WiFi connection must be from the manufacture and there are no updates.

I took it from my StarTrek, where it came from before that I dont know.

I did not have a shadow or dopod c750 yet. (I use HTC S710)
I cook this rom for one of my friend who use shadow in china.
when i finished it, i upload to fs2you, then my friend download and test it.
I did it blindly, just put the original OEM and SYS from emulator together.
The OEM part come from dopod C750 WM6.0 rom.

EnergyROM can't add a MMS server?

hey everyone. I flash EnergyROM two days ago, and I'm facing a rather important bug that trouble me, I can't add a MMS server from Messages - All Messages - menu - Settings - Options - MMS server, when I click "new" to add a new MMS server, there is not any response, nothing happens. I wonder if some other guy who flash the same ROM is facing the same problem and how can I fix it? THX very very much!
Here is my machine's information, SE X1 with EnergyROM KOVSKY 20090914 StandardM2.5.
Shouldn't you ask this in the EnergyROM thread rather than start a new thread?

I'm sorry but There are too many replies in EnergyROM thread..
i m having the same problem, but a little bit different, i can set up the mms server, but it does not work in any way, i was searching in registry and found many entries with HTCs servers, cingular servers, but i m brazil, and cant put the mms to work, even changing tre registry entries, but as i dont know very well how to manipulate the registry its still not working, both ways sending and receiving
MMS Issue with Energy ROM
Yeah.. I totally love this particular rom of all the ones out there and picture messaging hasn't worked for me either.. I'm U.S.-ATT
I've actually been sending via email as a work around because I like the rom that much.. Hope this does get resolved...
That problem is due to the leo message app? I have never really got mms working properly when using different roms with it cooked in. Try setting up the connection manually.
Well, i had already tested the jack4.x rom, MultimediaOS from KidDc(i think) and this perfect and bealtiful energy rom, and the only one that was able to send mms was the multimediaOS, but the ROM is ugly and still imature, no good for me...
Im using the operator TIM here in brazil...
if anyone has the solution...
I dont know too, if the energyROM already comes with arcsoft, or it attempts to send via other software(because in system/remove programs, it does not show nothing)
PS: in the multimediaOS the arcsoft version was 5.0.43.98, but neither google could find it...
here is the only solution :-

THANKS. It really works. but with a pity that can't use HTC message, I love the beautiful looks.

recieving very small mms! PLEASE HELP

Hey there,
I have a touch diamond 2 with official ROM and i live in armenia i use MTS armenia sim card i went to costumer support they said its my phone problem and my phone is scaling the picture down but i dont belive in that.i read the other posts i tested the registry tweak but it didnt work someone please help me.
Yeah the phone has a higher res screen and the picture was sent from a phone with a small screen and sorry camera or screen size. That is why your picture is small. Try saving it and viewing it with the HTC album and Zoom-in. That should work.
no that is not the problem becuz the pictures recieved are max 3kb. so its a thumb.
Glad you asked this question as I have the same problem on o2 in uk. I tried the reg tweak from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=359584 but it didn't help.
I'm hoping somebody has been able to solve it and can post.
I just want to add a +1 to this. Im currently using Duttys WM6.5 ROM R5 going to use R6 now, could it be a setting that is wrong?
im using the topaz essential 3.7 rom and this solved my "tiny" mms problems that i had with the other roms. hope this helps!
sounds like post#2 had it right. While you CAN change the max send/receive limit on MMS messages... typically they are 300k by default; usually the receive limit is 600kb. Here is my edited MMS Settings I cook with. I increase my limits up to 600k send and 1Mb receive. SampleMMSC is just the name I used, it could be anything.
You can check this:
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\MMSCSetting\[b]SampleMMSC[/b]]
"waptype"=dword:00000001
"GatewayPort"=dword:00000050
"MmscURI"="http://mmsc.cingular.com"
"Gateway"="wireless.cingular.com"
"Name"="AT&T MMS"
[b]"WAP1RecvDefaultSize"=dword:000FA000
"WAP2RecvDefaultSize"=dword:000FA000[/b]
"SendDefault"=dword:00096000
"ConnectionVia"="{B2AD7D1D-2C4B-494B-B324-42EEC882B71B}"
[b]"WAP1SendDefaultSize"=dword:00096000
"WAP2SendDefaultSize"=dword:00096000[/b]
"ISP"="SampleMMSC"
Looking at this code, WAP1RecvDefaultSize = FA000 (1024kb or 1mb)
WAP1SendDefaultSize = 96000 (600kb)
But I think the reasoning is that most phones don't have a high resolution. So full screen on my wife's phone is 240x320... plus most phones compress the image down for sending via MMS to usually 120x160... which as you can imagine would look tiny on our 480x800 screens. Just depends on the phone.
my registry entry is correct:
"WAP1RecvDefaultSize"=dword:000FA000
"WAP2RecvDefaultSize"=dword:000FA000
The problem for me is definitely with my carrier - o2.
As my TD2 is not from o2 and they don't actually sell this phone, they don't recognise the user-agent in WspHeader. Because they don't recognise it, they then compress the mms image right down to between 3 and 6k. I can send full size mms and they are received by others fine but anything I receive is compressed. I have sent myself mms - it leaves at around 250k but arrives at 6k.
I have found posts about changing the user-agent and profile in WspHeader to a device that o2 recognises but none of these changes have worked for me.
I'd be interested to see what anyone else on o2 (uk) that can receive mms of 300k, has for their user-agent and profile in the registry:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\WspHeader\User-Agent]
and
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\WspHeader\Profile]

Has been driving me nuts for weeks as well However I was sure that when I first got the phone (pre flashing cooked ROMS) that I received MMS @ full size.
So today, in desperation I flashed the official Topaz 6.5 ROM. Sent a test MMS to myself and hey presto it came back full size YAY.
Looking at the registry for Arcsoft/Arcsoft MMS UA/Config there are a hell of a lot more subkeys and values than was in the cooked ROM, so next step is to copy everything down reflash the cooked ROM and add all the subkeys and values. I may be some time LOL
I have exactly the same problem, flashed mine with 'Duttys Topaz WM6.5 Leo R7 WWE' rom, now I recieve tiny MMS pictures. Also on O2 (UK) with non branded phone.
Druboo please can you post what changes you have to make to correct this problem, I know it may take a while to sort but it will help all of here.
Thanks
Can now receive full size MMS on Duttys ROM
First things first, I use CERegEditor as a pc based regedit for my TD2 - So not sure if it will work with other regeditors. However, if Druboo's using it, it must have been free
With the stock 6.5 ROM still on the phone I made a backup of the Registry saved as Stock ROM.
Re-flashed Dutty's ROM and made a backup of it's Registry Saved as Dutty's ROM.
Then did a compare between Stock ROM and Dutty's ROM just for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA which resulted in 12 subkeys and 199 values extra in the Stock Rom. Saved the differences as Differences.
Imported Differences onto Dutty's ROM. Test MMS and hot to trot
Hope it works for you too

Is this cabbed up somewhere? I have no idea how to implement it but I am having this problem.
New Place to Edit
Well my previous fix no longer works on Sense 2.5 ROMS
It appears that the mms servers are now given the phone information from a different location. The good news for us poor belligered O2 UK users is that the Topaz is finally recognised in the Server database.
Point your reg editors to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Jataayu\MMS\SP
Make UAProfile="http://www.htcmms.com.tw/gen/HTC_Touch_Diamond2_T5353-1.0.xml"
& UserAgent="HTC_Touch_Diamond2_T5353/arcsoft-mmsua-5.2.0.xx" and you should be back in business.

Diamond quirks!

Hello
I have a couple of minor problems with my diamond.
I have this ROM on:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=553844
..and this is what i can't figure out:
1) why are days with appointements not market (diff color, or triangles in corners..) in touchflo2 calendar? if i'm to remember everything there is no point in a calendar.
2) i am unable to connect to 3g (or edge or anything).
These are the settings:
Name of the profile: Tele2 WAP
homepage: http://wap.tele2.hr
APN: internet.tele2.hr
Proxy: 130.244.196.090
I have no idea where to put APN and Proxy, because i can't find them anywhere when i choose to create a new connection.
3) Is there any other app for contact management that i could put in touchflo "ribbon" besides the default one? the default one is not practical at all.
4) can i put newer versions on touchflo3d?
I understand that i could probably find these answers somewhere, but i am a total noob and i'd feel safer if i got a straight answer.
Thanks.
it would be helpful if you filled in the blanks like who's your carrier and country of location. look up at the right side of my name; it says AT&T and it's in the US.
what you're asking is like saying my car doesn't run well and i'm using Conti tires. ok... what kind of car and what kind of tires in what kind of conditions?
we can solve this mystery with more info. much thanks!
1) As amazing as the cooks are on here thay dont have the same ability to qc there roms like htc so dont expect them to be perfect just be glad we have these cooks workin there asses of for us
2) if u think u should be getting better reception try flash a new radio.
3) APN Stands for access point name, you put in in the field that says access point lol also the proxy goes in the advanced settings at the end of the connection setup wizzard
4) yeeees ofcourse you can, the vga version of sence 2.5 has just been ported (Sence is the new name for htc's touchflo 3d ui) look in the rom development section for new roms with this version of the touchflo
enjoy your diamond
Ok, so i'm from croatia, my carrier is tele2, and here are the settings:
http://www.tele2.hr/podrska_korisnicima/upute_i_postavke.html
What about the calendar?
Can i install new versions of manilla over the one i have on the phone? will diamond be able to handle them? thats actualy the reason i asked because people said that diamond becomes slugish with 2.5.
Actualy, it's not me, it's my friends phone, i'm just inquiring in his name.
Anyway, i'll try the network settings once more when i meet up with that frien of mine.
Thanks
touchflo is massive, there are hundreds of files, its better to flash a rom with the version of touchflo you want, i think u can download touchflo 2.1 from the development and hacking section tho...
yeah touchflo 2.5 is even slow on my hd lol its cuz the hd2 is miiiiiiles more powerful than our devices lol
i would skip tough flow and go directly with something like SPB Shell V3.05. it's a lot more fluid and customizable

Hello everyone,
OK, here is my first go at ROM cooking.
I was looking for a very basic ROM with only must-have applications inside, so that I can later install the software I *do* use. Eventually I gave up, as all the ROMs and even the Lite'est ones had too much features / utilities. I thought I would then take the latest official ROM available (for stability purpose) and trim it down to minimum elements (for size reduction).
Herewith is what I ended up with:
http://rapidshare.com/files/3829100....25.91_Signed_Ship_trimmed_by_aziraphale_.rar
This in no way can be called a "cooked" ROM, I still know nothing about cooking, but it is a heavily trimmed stock ROM, created by the use of RhodiumKitchen_0.1, found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=560519.
Thanks Dave for this Tutorial and all the credits go to respective tools' developers.
How to install:
- unrar
- connect with ActiveSync (or loader in USB mode)
(goes without saying Your device must be Hard-SPL'd or modified any other way to allow ROM flashing - search the forum)
- execute RomUpdateUtility.exe
There are some residual unnecessary and/or invalid shortcuts in the Start Menu,
as well as some empty folders, I manually removed them by the use of EveryWAN personal edition - it's free and it's easy to use.
The OS is 6.5 b21887
I have trimmed the following from the stock ROM:
HTC applications:
- appointment editor
- clear storage (can do Hard reset in normal way)
- facebook / engine
- format SD (can't a PC do that?)
- CoPilot + install path folder (I use TomTom)
- birthday
- bookmark
- messaging client (hate it)
- jblend
- jetcet
- manila all
- opera (when You install newer version You end up with 2 )
- sliding sounds
- social networks engine
- streaming media
- tv out
- youtube
- volume control
- google maps (same as with opera)
- setting improvement
- text selection
- wifi wizard
- browser snapshot
- ie6 enhancement
- world card mobile (BCR)
- rss hub
System:
- live search
- wm widgets
- win live
- welcome center
- transcriber
- skymarket
- one note
- remote desktop
- themes except Rock and Republic
- my phone (skybox)
- livesearch
I do not expect this to become very useful to most of the forum visitors/members, but perhaps there is someone out there who have not found his/her way around to make ROMs him(her)self yet, but would like to get the very basic ROM with no extras.
Very hard to define "must have" apps. I personally prefer WM6.1 over WM6.5. Bad thing is you can't install every app\functionality by using CAB's. Otherwise you could create a ROM of around 40MB. Mine is currently ~70MB and is just great for my personal use.
Might be handy to add to the first post that your ROM is actually a WM6.5 ROM
Good luck on the cooking!

You said it yourself - the "must-have" are the ones that can not be added by .cabs and will compromise phone functionality (like the HTC dialer skin will enable video calls, thus must stay)

the "2.07.401.1" implies 6.5, but added to description anyway, thanks
Good effort dude I did much the same a month or so ago with an amalgamation of Ervius Visual Kitchen (so easy) and JoshKoss kitchen. Didn't go as savage on the removal of stuff though, main objective was to get rid of the HTC Messaging
Just tried May 1st 23xxx EnergyROM with MaxManila but it cuts off MP3 playback in standby (a big no-no for me) and hung once already while texting MaxManila is nice though, and the Facebook tab is good. I usually stick to 21xxx but I must say 23xxx is growing on me with the latest build. Gonna try Cell Pro next.
I like the latest stuff but keeping up with it all is a nightmare if you're cooking. Wouldn't mind the latest 2.5 Manila packages and latest 21xxx / 23xxx SYS, also would try cooking in MaxManila, and I never managed to cook in "mark all as read" for emails properly. Need to learn how to hack on Manila. Also I forgot to cook in a task manager haha Ameba is quite nice on the latest EnergyROM. I definitely get the "why cook it in if you can get it from Marketplace / OMarket and auto update it" though, totally with you on that one instead of flashing a new ROM every week. I usually flash a new one every month or so, once I find one I like. But for the last month or so I've been running my own. It wasn't the fastest ROM ever though
It's a lot of work to make a decent ROM, and it's finding the time innit. I'm a big fan of JoshKoss but he hasn't released anything in a while
Anyway good effort dude the more the merrier I say
Also just a quick note I did get the Standby Of Death a couple of times on my cooked ROM. Very rare but still. No idea why. Don't know if it happens with the stock ROM or not.
Would like to know how to totally remove HTC messaging, sometimes when texting via Manila it would still give the conversation view which runs like a dog when you have 4,800 messages hehe
And the speakerphone sometimes screwed up - I could hear the other party but they couldn't hear me.

Before going through the trouble of surgically removing the rudimentary software myself, I have tried a few "professionally" (read: respect, not sarcasm) cooked Energy and Leo ROMs, most of them VERY recent, but I found them SOOO packed with tweaks and features, that it would take me ages just to discover all the extras. I am more on the simplier side, don't fix something which is not broken, but I just HATE Manila (expect a lot of angry protestors here) and I am not big fan of HTC customisations either. Hence was this ROM done and I am so far rather happy with it.
There is no sign of HTC messaging which I can find, and I can install and use only necessary (for me) bits of software.
For "mark all as read" there is a really good .cab on the forum, called "safeboxextender", it works like a charm and I don't mind having to install it separately (i.e. not. cooked-in).
Having come from 1.86 ROM to 2.07 I do notice that device keeps hanging even without being put to sleep, but I can not figure out the dependency yet (I mean so far it looks rather random).

Yeah me too, those guys have spent probably 100's if not 1000's of hours on learning this stuff, then putting it together in a manner that pleases a lot of different people. Major kudos. I sometimes get the feeling though particularly with chefs who release almost every day, for a number of different devices, that the care and testing leaves something to be desired. Quite often more does not = better as you know

Yeah fair enough mate although I am a big fan of Manila 2.5 and MaxManila is quite nice

Yeah I tried converting that to an EXT and cooking it in but it didn't work I know it can be done though cos a lot of ROMs have it built in. To be honest I don't really have enough time anymore to dedicate to my own ROM so I'm trying out a few others.

It's weird ... Mine's never hung while running but I've had the SOD two or three times. More research required, until then just stick the pen up it's arse haha
Could you release an additional version with a later build SYS (ie: 23XXX or 28XXX)? A lot of people use 6.5.5 or 6.5.3 and there are no Lite options for those later builds.

i'd love to, but....
as i said i am no cook and i only did it for myself and cared enough to share with anyone who'd love to have it "as is".
also, see the respective later-release ROM threads to see how many bugs are there still and ROM-cooking gurus are eliminating them one by one and it's a long and painstaking process. i have neither time, nor ability to do that.
so i guess this is as much as i can do so far.
I've been using the ROM for a few days now and it is great. Everything works perfect. Bluetooth, tethering, wifi, data connections; it all works great with no bugs Thanks for sharring. I love a clean ROM.

very good!
Well I think I have ran the gamet of tezts and this ROM is perfect. It is fast and stable trimmed down well but still offering everything a user needs. I am on AT&T in the states and it works perfect. The only thing I cant figure out is how do I shut of the vibration when using the on screen key board? And can I add a picture mail program to my device? Would it function properly and could you recommend one?

that would be by manually editing registry key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\TFLOSettings]
"ApVibrationOn"=dword:00000000
it is 1 by default, change it to 0 and you are all set

this here i am not sure what you mean?
whatever you add (install) SHOULD function properly, if it would have on a stock ROM,
as i have not made any changes to remaining ROM bits
edit: if you open Albums and select any picture You want, it will open in full screen, tap it, and 4 icon menu comes up, 3rd from the left with 2 arrows > tap this one and there is an option *mail*.
select the account (i would use email) and voila! is that what you were looking for?
Thanks Aziraphale_l I was talking about MMS. I want to send and receive picture mail with text messaging. Right now I cant send or recieve pictures except with email. But of course my friends do not have pda phones so we use MMS picture mail.
I was guessing this is what you said you removed. I looked for arcsoft for 6.5 and I see that HTC is now using "HTC Message" so I will go look for that. Thanks again.
Maybe this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=624375
With these settings from the same thread.
Server Name: Cingular MMS
Gateway: wireless.cingular.com
Port:80
Server address: http://mmsc.cingular.com
Connect via: Media Net
Send Limit: 300k
Wap Version: 2.0
I'll try to send an MMS tomorrow.

HTC messaging, which I understand handles MMS functionality in our devices, has evolved into... well, something I did not like any more, so it had to go.
I personally don't use MMS, so it is no big deal for me.
Your ArcSoft link below - I see no reason why it will not work, give it a try? You can then share Your findings with the rest of us.
P.S. Battery life on this ROM is the best I have ever seen!
I have tried a dozen ROMs and I usually stick with them for a month or so I guess. They are either lite with bugs or heavy with eye candy and bugs. So far I haven't had a single issue with yours. I think many developers get in to much of a hurry. I appreciate the great job you did on this.
I notice today that to get from one task to another, one program to another or one event to another I use fewer steps because everything is simple and functional. Thanks again.
I cooked in Arcsoft_MMS_5_2_8_45 on mine, after pulling out HTC Messaging, if I remember rightly it worked but it's very rare I use MMS anyway. If you install it afterwards, re-run carrier provisioning (or whatever it's called ... where it sets up your network settings automatically) and it should configure Arcsoft for ya.
Right now I'm running EnergyROM 23xxx from 1st of May but battery is suffering and it crashes a bit, not mega fast either. It is a nice flashy ROM tho I used to hate 23xxx and much prefer 21xxx but lately I'm kinda undecided.
Thanks for the haptic feedback registry edit; works great.
