Swedish keyboard setting in 6.5?? - XPERIA X1 ROM Development

I hope you can help me...
I upgraded my X1 rom to 6.5 (English version) but since I have the Swedish keybord, with the keys å ä, ö, I'd still like to have the Swedish keyboard setting... How can I change this, because now theese letter are å=?, ä=', and ö=: and my &=/ and /=&....
So is there a way to get the Swedish keyboard setting back?
Thank's for your help!

Just to be nice

Helmi BA WM2k5 - german keyboard

Hello,
is there any possibility to get a german keyboard for the Helmi WM5? I have a german BA (Vodafone VPA III) and i use my slide-out keyboard very often. I have no problem with an english wm5 but without a german keyboard layout is it useless for me.
Is there any way to get a german keyboard "driver" for the slide-out keyboard?
Install this cab and soft reset the device - you will have german keyboard layout
works perfectly. Thank you very much
U guys talking about the hardware keyboard or the soft keyboard?

The Hardware "slide-Out" Keyboard
And is there a solution to switch the soft keyboard to German layout?
Yes, it's the same thing. I have similar patch done for wm2003se, it works fine. Thanks for this one for wm2005!
Installing the cab file only changed the slide-out keyboard layout. The soft keyboard remained unchanged.
Is there any other solution to change the layout?
Hi, the file fixed my hard- and software kb. Thnx a lot! But since i installed, the hw kb sometimes "holds the last key pressed"
It repeats that letter till i press another key. Anybody else has that problem?
Greetz Mad
Sorry Guys
my softkeyboard remained unchanged.

S730 language support

How can i add special characters of swedish language å, ä and ö (last two used by many languages) when writing sms and e-mails? I don't care about T9 dictionary as i don't use it. I am about to buy this smartphone and the only thing that makes me sceptical is this issue. Swedish language support is vital for my job. Sorry if this is somewhat silly question. I am totally new to smartphones and windows mobile
When you write on the keypad, and your local XT9 dictionary is selected, you can write this accented characters (simply with multitap). The characters will rotate a-b-c-á-ä-...-2.
On the QWERTY keyboard you have to use XT9 dictionary or remap keyboard layout (edit textfile in Windows directory).
I think that the å character is not present but i am not sure.Could you please clarify this? Thanks for your quick answer
I dont have Swedish XT9 so I cant check it. Anyway, you can remap QWERTY keys to any Unicode characters.
I understand. So i guess you have to have swedish XT9.Is there a guide for how to add this feature? I'd be grateful if there is some sort of link
clarification: as i live in Greece i will get a greek version of s730 which i know it has no swedish XT9
How to make this device to support Japanese language?

Or you could install the Swedish t9 cab from here: http://melgurth.ovh.org/index.php?page=downloads , please note that it´s t9 not xt9.

I also have a Swedish model with åäö marked on the keyboard, but after i flashed the OS the keyboard layout is not the swedish one. I would really appriciate if you could upload the files:
eT9.Wings.****.kmap.txt
eT9.Vox.****.kmap.txt
which are located in windows/ (**** stands for a 4 digit number which stands for the locale id)
I think the swedish keyboard layout is named:
eT9.Wings.041d.kmap.txt
to the ftp://xda:[email protected] ,
I´m sure others would find it very useful too.

Hi guys! i just flashed my S730 to WM6.1, everything is working fine. I installed the xt9 for scandinavian languages as it was refered to in another thread. but my Fn key mapping are still not right, i can not type åäö. How do i correct this? If i need to edit the registery of the divice, how do i do that?
BR //Brottochstraff
EDIT: Never mind! Managed to solve it by editing the registery . Man its a lot of threads here! All of you who are creating these images are doing a great job. Dont understand why HTC does not publish a official 6.1 image, its working perfecly on my 730

Nordic Keyboard

Is a Nordic Keyboard available somewhere here?
If someone can tell me how to extract keyboard (possible?) I can dump it from my ROM. Bought from Finland and it has all nordics.

In theory all the keyboards should be available in all phones, it's the registry setting that would be nice to know, so if you could post the tegic reg it would be nice.
You would find it in HKLM/software/tegic
Thanks

Can you be more exact? there are like hundreds of registrys in that folder HKLM/software/tegic/eT9
None in ../tegic exept that folder
Just save the HKLM/software/Tegic registry folder as the "hundreds" of entries describe what keyboard layout, what tegic wordbook to use and so on and so on.
I actually added Danish to my HK version by adding all the registry setting for Danish in to that folder
any news on this?
I've installed duttys rom, and the first impression is great. Only played with it for half a day.
I installed the old blackstone keyboards (which I found in a xperia-thread) and the 14 languages t9-cab, and can now type with norwegian t9. The thing is that the keyboard layout is english, so I have to remeber where they norwegian keys are put on the compqact qwerty.
Anyone got a solution?
A nordic keyboard for these new ROMs would be great. Is it available?
I am using Davideuck's V3 Rhodium and the only thing i miss is the nordic keyboard layout.
To gather everything up nicely..
T9 Input 14 Languages Update.cab (2.3 KB)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=94698&d=1214149758
This only adds the option to select the language i want. When writing with XT9 enabled in the full qwerty nothing shows up on screen. If I set it to ABC it works. Keyboard layout is still english, or at least without æ, ø and å witch are the Norwegian characters I would like to get on my keyboard.
Then I will need some dictionary file to add XT9, right? Where can I get that?
Also, when my full qwerty works with XT9 I would prefer to move another step; how do I get compact qwerty with XT9 and nordic (æøå for me) characters?
I lost the compact qwerty when I flashed my ROM with some Dutty-ROM. Oh, and don't get me wrong. His ROMs are fantastic, but I would still love to have compact qwerty
Tried This: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=462284
I installed this reg attached as zip file in this post, and got XT9 working but no keyboard layout in Danish. Maybe the new keyboard is not meant to be like that? Its maybe supposed to be like the Iphone where you keep pressing "o" to get ø etc..? Because this is working fine.. and even the XT9 is suggest words when you use the "o" instead of ø when writing the words.
hmm
I downloaded the cab mentioned in the previous post. It's a 6MB file and it gave me an error message 5 seconds in the install process
"Installation of Touch-IT_Blackstone_Nor_swe_Den_Fin.cab was unsuccessful."
Oh well... I feel like I have searched the entire web twice for this, but finding dictionaries for other languages proves to be difficult. I could even settle for only Norwegian

This is what i use.
It's not the latest HTC version ( I find the latest much slower anyway), but it works.
Install the keyboard first, then the dictionary.
Nordic Keyboard
I think there's are still missing files needed to make the latest HTC keyboard into Nordic through registry settings.
Oh joy
Blessings.. it worked!
I have the problem that I'm a danish user, but I use dutty's rom with the new ezimput 2.0 keyboard, but no danish language exist yet to that one.
Now when I try to install the original HD keyboard, the "phone keypad" doesn't work anymore, and hence make it impossible to use T9. It works with full QWERTY, but my fat fingers doesn't work well on that one.
Anyone have the same problem, and have found an solution?
What do you mean that no Danish language exist for that.
Phone keyboard is having "ø" under "mno" button and just like normal multitap.
If it's the T9 you are looking for then use the attached reg key and you'll have Danish added to the language list.
I'm using Dutty 3.3 and it works without problems.

Thanks for the reg file.
I didn't know you were able to have danish on the new ezimput 2, as they state on the thread in "dev and hacking" that it only supports eng, ger, fre, spa etc.
From were do you get the ldb files and kdb files? Or are the danish one included in the dutty rom? Or can you please upload those files aswell?
-offtopic-
I have used my diamond for almost a year and really enjoys it, so now I thought that I would go to the HD. - And I feel like a beginner again. What rom is the best, what is the new essentials etc... :-/
I used the dic file from one of the oploads in this thread, and it worked beutifull. Thanks.
More Languages on ezimput2 from Topaz
This file enables more T9 languages on the latest keyboard.
Layout will be the same.
Did anyone find any solution to the compact keyboard?
In my opinion the compact keyboard is the best one, but in Duttys rom's it doesnt exist.. and Duttys rom is really great so I dont wanna change rom.
The perceft solution would be Dutty rom + Compact keyboard with working T9 swe lang.
please please... tell me that someone solved this...
Here's a mod on the previous Danish reg file to make it work for Swedish instead.

Danish keyboard layout fix?

Hi All, I have a small problem with my HTC Touch Pro (bought in Denmark), after installing a custom made ROM (Elite Project RC3). The problem is that after installing the English firmware on originally danish HTC Touch Pro it is quite difficult now to use a built-in QWERTY keyboard. All symbols are mixed up, and I’m not able also to type Danish letters such as æ, ø, å etc.
I have found something for touch screen keyboard, but could not fix it for the phone keyboard. Sorry guys for stupid questions, but this is my first smartphone, and I’m not really familiar with all this register editing and stuff. Are there any cabs existing which can fix my problem? Thanks in advance.
No ideas? Please ...
Hey,
I would like to ask the same question, still i havent flash my mobile yet, but I would do it if there is a solution to the problem.
i have found a german fix, but that do not fix the danish problem.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=440779
there must be some who can solve the problem?
Hey, i'am back. maybe wiht a solution,
try this,
Get Registry editor ( http://www.touchxperience.com/en/re...itor-downloads/14-registry-editor-09-cab.html )
Change this key
\\HKLM\HARDWARE\DEFVICEMAP\KYEBD\CurLang
to value 1044 - danish
that whot min stand on and, æøå works just fine
try it and let me know if it works
edit:
HKLM = HKEY_LOCAL_Machine
Perhaps you also have to change
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ MUI \CurLang
value - 1030
Mobilnaut SYM
Or you could try this solution
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=459253
try my cab on 7th post from this thread
I havent tried it on the Raphael, but this has worked for me on a lot of other HTC's.

And while we are at it..
If you want it, I have an old wm5 version of a scandinavian SIP that works with the standard sip.
I've also build a cab that gives you word completion, autocorrection and spell checker in danish. Interested?

ÅÄÖ is all availible if you press and hold A and O buttons, just as in the swedish 6.1 rom. There is currently no swedish keyboard with dedicated ÅÄÖ.
But if you want to have swedish XT9 you can download and install this cab: http://rapidshare.com/files/261765693/Ez_Input.zip This is confirmed (by me atleast) working on all WWE 6.1 and 6.5 roms.
Thanks, the T9, thats what i meant of course
Think, install the T9 cab in not necessary.
In the standard HTC kbd/T9 SVE is present as a rule. You need enable it by registry:
ADD:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\eT9\Sip\LanguageKeyboardIDMapping]
"011d"="091d"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\eT9\LdbFiles]
"011D"="SVlsUN.ldb"
CHANGE:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Tegic\eT9]
"AvailableLanguages"="0109,010C,0107,0110,010A,011D"
Ok, thanks!
yeah, you can edit the reg to get it to work but the cab is just a easier way.
I used the cab, it was easier.
In general i think the T9 in HTC-phones sucks!
When it comes to swedish, it has problems sugestining words with letters åäö in the beginning, like " på " är " ångra " and its common in swedish, same with original ROM.

This doesn't solve your T9 problems, but I would like to suggest that you try FingerKeyboard instead. I use a full qwerty layout, preferably in landscape and I type really fast with it.
You find FingerKeyboard in Blackstone app section. If there is no swedish layout there I can upload my own design.

Anything else that will be different from my Swedish TD2 with standard ROM?
