Hey guys!
I bought my HTC Touch Diamond off eBay a couple of months ago. (It came unlocked) I have been using it with my Telstra sim card ever since i got it (I live in Australia, by the way) anyway, i am now going to switch over to the Hutchison 3 network, so i went over to the HTC site to try to download the ROM update, for this network. Unfortunately, because i bought my phone off eBay, it came from South Africa, so it won't let me download the ROM upgrade.
Is there anything i can do to get this update?
Thanks

Hi XDA,
im currently deployed in South Korea and i have a Sprint HTC Touch Diamond, ive unlocked it and changed the rom on the phone. Now my question is im trying to find a some of the South Korean Radio's and i cant find them....the touch diamond was released in south korea to SK Telecom and i believe LG Telecom. South Korea does not use sim cards here....the only thing they have that is remotely close to sim card is a Korean online banking system.....but back to the question could anyone here help me find the radio's so i can have a decent phone to use in South Korea. Once i find the radios i can get my contract switched to the phone. Thanks!!!

Hi everyone,
I just need help with my HTC dream. Here's the situation:
I bought an HTC dream from Canada (Rogers locked). Now I bring the phone back to Hong Kong using service provider PCCW. I rooted the phone and also did a sim-unlock. However, when I was in Canada, I was able to use 3g speed but now when I am back in Hong Kong, I can only get 2g speed. Can anyone help me to resolve this problem?
Thanks.
That's probably because the frequencies they use over there are different. If that's the case then there's really nothing you can do... except get a model that's for use in that region.
I'll be in Cheju, South Korea for a week in September and will have my N1 with me. When I was in England last year I was able to just pick up a local prepaid SIM card for very little and have phone / internet the two weeks I was there. Can this be done in Korea?
Any suggestions as to staying connected?
Thanks!
Hi everyone, I'm new in this forum amd i don't know of this is the right subforum so please be patient with me, thanks!
I have a problem with my samsung g. S6 and its that after been traveling abroad for 3 months, now that I'm back in the UK, my phone wont connect to the mobile network.
I searched in the internet for all the possible solutions but none seems to work.
I bought my phone second hand on march, it was network locked and i unlocked it with the unlock pin from a trusted site on internet,it is not blacklisted and I rooted and installed tyranus rom in it. since then i have been using it for several months without a problem, on september i went travel to spain and the us and the phone worked fine in the uk, spain and the us.
But when I arrived to the UK a couple of days ago is when the problem stared.
I tryed all the possible solutions I can find in the net but nothing did works.
Any Ideas? Could it be a rom problem? Shall I try a difernt rom?
Thank you for your time and help!

no you cant, only way is to get a sim card and this is for all carrier models. This is the reason why you buy LG's factory unlocked phone made from them and not branded.
