Question Regarding Stock Rooted

- There are some missing apps. I have even installed the new market and they do not show. For example, I get Angry Birds Seasons, but not Angry Birds. I go to the Android Market Website and it even shows this as well. NFS: Shift is another example as well. I believe these should work with 2.1?
- Movies: Audio seems to be a bit quiet on MP4 files. However, these were all converted from Apple's M4V. (I haven't found a program that goes from DVD -> MP4. I did I not think Handbrake does this? Any recommendations?
- I bought mine used on Craigslist for $230 (including the case). Pretty good deal, in perfect shape. Although, there seems to be a "dead" pixel that shows up blue in dark (especially black) screens. I assume there is no way around this?
Is there a way to NANDROID a backup to my Auto Nooter 3.0 setup and flash a CM7 or HC ROM to the internal memory. And then wipe data and go back to Auto Nooter if need be? Or do these ROMs require a MicroSD Card--no other way?

[Q] EA Games not working for me

Anyone able to get EA games like Sims 3 and Need for Speed up and running on Vegan, or any other rom for that matter?
not in early january. Havent tries recently.
Same problem. Can't find games I have previously purchased.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Not on the market for me either, but when pulling the apk files from my Nexus One and installing it on the G-Tab, every single one of them force closes on me. I wonder if the Xoom can play them, if it force closes on that, then at least we may know it's a processor issue.
I've gotten worms working fine on my G Tab.
Side loaded both the app, and the additional 40 MB of data that it copies to \sdcard\Android.
Just side loading the app wasn't enough, whenever I tried running it errored out saying device not compatible. So downloaded it on my droid and copied over.
Works really great on the 10" screen, controls take a little getting used to.

[Q] Android Games and Apps

I install Android builds on my X1 just to open some low end apps and games.
Is there any way to just run apps on the x1 native ROM (WinMO)? I just want to play android games like zenonia 2, 3, illusia, and other low end games like irunner, moonchase, gamedev story and similar games.
It'd be like an emulator or something, (Crossfingers X)
It would be great, right? because then, developers won't have to do the whole android thing, just one smokin' hot android app emulator..
Your thoughts are interesting, but I think about normal emulators on pc etc.
So I think, emulators won't run the apps/games better than in Android.
The emulator will also have these/similar kernel android used.
PS. I hope you understand what I mean, it's a bit confusing^^
yeah i know
But then, just thinking..
It might be possible as there is YouWave for PC.. But I'm talking pure apps here, just apps no Android UI or anything else.
Of course X1 can't beat the high-end Android phone due to lack of gpu and low CPU power. You're prolly right, Android apps can't be expected to run better on X1. Android apps are for Android phone, but I was just thinkin. ... MAYBE...
X1 is an OK phone
X1 can play lowend games at a decent speed. But where are the games!? The developers abandoned Window Mobile and trust me, i've tried tons of android games on x1 and they work perfectly.
Again, HD apps is a different story. I'm talkin bout low end.
thanks for this
working for me fine. except if you have to press two button once. that wont work. like in a mtb trail game, where you need to accelerate and lean backwards...

[App] adosbox fc's

Hello!
I just got a xoom yesterday and wanted to know if you could play old dos games on it. I found an app called adosbox and it runned great. But when i play the game Hocus Pocus (and any other) it force closes after a while. Does anyone have the right settings for ram use and so?

Android Touch Diamond

I'm looking for a version for Android that is fast enough to play Angry Birds or any other game. I'm not looking for GSM to work, i want only to play games on android.
I'we tried many android roms, best one worked for me was neofroyo but it had a ram problem, the android used only 16mb of ram.
then i think you have to search for a gingerbread rom
