AT&T Tilt Active Call Problem

I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same problem I've been having. When I'm on a call using a "WIRED" headset (I know I need to get a BT headset) the call would be placed on hold without me touching the phone. Sometimes it would even place a call on its own. Whenever it would do this the Voice Speed Dial Screen would come on & beep too once in awhile. I don't have anything programmed in the Voice Speed Dial.
I believe the problem is coming from the plug from the wired headset that's connected to the phone. The headset that I am using is a HTC EMC220 Stereo Hands-Free Headset OEM. I tried wiggling the connector & it would either make a call or place the call on hold.
It's really annoying! Any fixes or suggestions?
Are you able to try a different wired headset? This would further help to identify the problem.

Attempt to try and make Bluetooth work on WinMo..

Hey,
I thought of this thing to make bluetooth work on winmo side, atleast for voice calls. Now there something called the Jabra A120s, which is a bluetooth adaptor for ipods/mp3 players with a 3.5 mm jack. Can we connect it to our shift and use it to stream wirelessly? I think ofcourse we can. Now the question remains would the mic work on it for the voice call? Does anyone of you have a bluetooth adaptor with 3.5 mm jack?

Unfortunately the headset jack is 3pole meaning there is no mic input. On the plus side "Chip supports bluetooth transmit/recieve and fm radio functions through the same antenna, but is not enabled in software drivers." so maybe we can get bluetooth mics to work.

There is a 3.5 mm jack for listening. I do not know if it will work with a microphone. I tried a few sound recorder programs without success so far.

I tried this also. I plugged in my iPhones earbuds with microphone. no luck. A Bluetooth stack that supports headsets with microphone seems to be what I'm waiting on.

The wire *is* the antenna. But my bt headset has a radio built-in so I don't mind either way.
Fyi, try launching the radio App without a headset plugged in and you'll get your answer.

I would assume you can. I received a sony NFC/bluetooth speaker with my phone as a gift from the Telco, and the fm radio will play through that (tough it's not allways simple to get it working - it can be pretty tempermental.) It seems to take preference of conencted bluetooth devices to output the sound to when you have selected audio out to be the headset.

You can also tap the icon in the top right of your active call screen on the watch, and then press the icon on the right (the icon that shows a handset)
Hi,
By the same way is it possible to switch between my gear and a BT headset.
For example i've my BT headset in my pocket, i receive a call, look on my Gear, decide to eccept the call from the Gear and after a short exchange for more discretion want to use my BT headset. Is it possible to switch from the mic and the speaker of the gear to the mic and the speaker of the BT headset.
Thanks
Stéph.

There's a bluetooth button while your on call, you should be able to toggle your target with that.
Hi fOmey,
Thanks for your answer, you mean BT Button on the BT Headset i suppose?? Because if you think on the phone it's not the way i want to use because instead of using my BT Headset in this case it's better for me to use my phone. I want a solution between my BT Headset and the GG.
Stéph.
