Hi there,
I'm wondering how to cancel de automatic internetsettings in wm 6.5.
On my phone I can't configure an alter internetconnection because it says: this internetconnection is configured in advance and can not be changed.
My profider is Vodafone. The connection is set to live.vodafone.nl and I want to change it to office.vodafone.nl because it is a businesscontract.
Anyone who can help me?
Thanks.

Hi, does anyone know what settings I need for my XDA 2s. I have successfully unlocked my XDA and everything works apart from MMS.
I have set it up as best i can on my own,.. but when sending a message the device just stays on "sending.." and when receiving one the device just says "recieving mms..".
Anybody set it up correctly?
What are your current settings? If you are sure evrything is right, under the server address, check that there is a forward slash after http://mms.orange.co.uk/ If it is not there it wont work!
If you need the settings, there is a cab file available here:

Hi all, Ive just put the latest Molski bin on my Wizard and all is good. Ive managed to get the GPRS settings in and that sort of works. I cant seem to setup the MMS settings correctly, Ive added the MMS server settings in the connection tab, but it wont let me choose it as the connection option under the MMS messaging options. I tried to copy the settings from my mates C600 which is a pukka orange phone but the options are slightly different. Can anyone help or does anyone know of a good guide to setting up all the connections for MMS and GPRS correctly for Orange. Any help much appreciated.
Coxy.
If anyone could help me in setting MMS, GPRS etc. with this stupid Belgian operator which does not want to help me as they don't have the configuration for this phone.. Thank you in advance...
try the settings on this page:

Hi all,
I have a T-Mobile MDA Compact V. A connection profile for GPRS is predefined by T-Mobile and i can't edit it via the connection manager, all options for this profile are greyed out.
Does anybody know how i can change/ delete these connection profiles in the registry?
I don't have a mobile flatrate, therefore, i want to disable this profile.
Thanks in advance,
Caroline
Ok, found the soultion on my own. If someone else needs to edit these settings:
* Find the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\ConnMgr\Providers
* Under one of the GUIDs you'll find a Connections folder that will have an entry for each of your connections
* Under each connection, find the ReadOnly key and set its value to 0 (zero).
Hey guys just got my new Silver X2 need some help please:
1) I keep getting message - sms from network: Zone65%10% every couple of seconds.
What is this and how dio I turn it off?
2) How can I add an old phone ringtone? The ringtones suck and all I want is an old ringtone.
3)I cannot seem to setup a 3G connection, it only has options for GPRS or Cellular. I have activated in the menu, HSDPA and HSUPA.
4) When dialing a number, and I enter the actual number, nothing comes up like on the old win mobile, with a list of possible contacts.
Please can someone help me?
Thanks

Click to collapse
2) Well just put your favourite ringtones in phone's memory,
not memory card.
Best in MyDocuments or any default directory called MyRingtones.
That should help.
Than choose it like you did on X1.
Is there any way to find the ring-standard one from Windows mobile 6?
Never mind I found it thanks'
