Hi guys,
I'm a total Noob with pocket pc's.
I just got the Touch Diamond 2 from Vodafone Germany.
I did a Rom update to WM 6.5.
According to a member at pocketpc.ch, I got Manila 2.1 with this update.
Now, I am desperately looking for a different theme than the butt ugly red and white that's on the phone.
I see all those custom themes and they are great, my problem is that I have no freakin' clue which one would work on my TD2.
There are so many abrevations and slang that my head is spinning.
I would really appreciate it, if someone here could give me a link to a black or dark blue theme, that will work with my phone.
I tried one yesterday, but it screwed up my TD2 and it took me forever to get it back to normal.

I have tried Searching Reading Browsing but still no luck.
I am a big fan of the Original Keyboard (Screen).
The bluish keyboard that came stock on the Diamond is really ugly.
None of the skin cabs that worked for WM 6.0 would work on the Diamond.
Does anyone know how to get around this?

this keyboard is only new and will take a few months to see any "changes / skins" from 3rd party developers. So patience my friend

oh really? I thought everything for the original keyboard(non HTC) is the same except for the blue skin that came with the diamond. everything else seems to be the same..
Well let's hope someone will be able to make a skin for it
Hey everyone, My wife just got a new kaiser. She is trying to personalize it and was searching for a good Final Fantasy Advent Children Theme. She would even take a FF7 theme. Can anyone recommend a good one for her? She is mainly looking for 2 things. A great Final Fantasy wall paper and a great Final Fantasy startup splash screen. I would make the splash screen for her but I do not know how. I have tried to follow some steps but have been unable to make the splash screen. She is currently running L26 Kaiser Diamond Rom V5. Thank you for your help in advance.

here run customruu while device is attached to usb. If she doesn't like it, post a photo she may like for the splash screen and the background.

Hi Guys,
I recently put the Sprint TF3D theme on my fuze, and I absolutely love it cause its so uch faster that the at&t theme. However, when you have the keyboard out, the screen that is shown is just the screen seen in portrait mode, and then about 1/3 of the riht of the screen is black. I was wondering if anyone knew how to make the theme fit correctly when the device is rotated, or if you can just get the regular menu screen that all touch pros have when the device is in landscape.

A really simple monochromatic skin for Windows Mobile (Phone) 6.5, cab's fully uninstallable. Works with VGA/WVGA and QVGA/WQVGA, just download the correct resolution (without the W). Enjoy.
While I do realize that both versions could be installed from one Cab, I've chosen not to do this to avoid cluttering devices (especially those with small internal storage) with unnecessary files which are not fit for their resolution. My theme releases will be 2 separate cabs (maybe 3 if I ever figure out this square thing...).
Changelog:
May 7, 2009 - Fixed bubble/toast bug in (W)QVGA version and updated installers hardcoded to device (just to bypass nag in installation).
April 19, 2009 - Initial Release

Does anybody else have the 'rainbow effect' towards the top of the screen? Does it show some blue, green and red as the color tries to transition... or maybe my backlight is up to high?

Too bad nobody remembers 'bout square screens (320x320) of Treo and i780
Square QVGA should work just fine seeing as 320x320 on the TreoPro and the i780 are still both 192 DPI, save for the background. I could resize the background and cab up a square one for you if you'd like, but try the QVGA one first and let me know if it works.
EDIT: What's the DPI for the Square 320x320 devices? I'd love to get you a theme if you can get me the resources from a working Classic Blue theme...
EDIT2: Thanks to bnm7bnm, I've found an issue with the QVGA cab, in that if you click on the signal strength indicator, battery icon, any of the top icons looking for a status pop-up window, it shows the old-style notifications, instead of WM6.5-skinned style. Working on a fix and will update when available.
Speaking of bugs, anyone (AdamNimrod) having the rainbow effect: can you try and take a screenshot with a program like CapSure or something similar and see if the rainbow effect still shows up. I don't really know what your talking about, but the screenshot would help, and also identify if its an actual rendering issue or an optical illusion.
PS: I'm working on a Glossy Black theme roughly using a glossing effect similar to Windows 7, but trying to keep it classy and not look like it's "trying too hard". Its coming down the pipe, but I just got out of finals at the University of Florida, and start an internship soon, so it'll be here when it gets here.
For WM6.5 square screeners there is only 96dpi
The attachment contains the slightly modified theme - I've added the 320x320 wallpaper.

I have a Eten M800 with a VGA display (not very good), and a Palm Treo 750 with a square display.
Well i really think that the Treo's not really good dressed with Windows Mobile's Appearance, so i want to make a more standard skin, something very basic.

i realized that your Eten M800 has a joystick and you post says your not looking at the touchscreen aspect of the theme....
so if you want to use the joystick for navigating the theme if i make it in throttle launcher .. will not be possible... you will still need to use the touchscreen to navigate the theme
Try ThemeGenCE its great for starters (well I'm still using it )
