Newb, need help regarding bricked SPV M3000 (orange branded) - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario Software Upgrading

Hello everyone,I appologize if the thread allready exists, but I don't really have much time for searching the forums. My problem is like so:I bought a used SPV M3000(orange brended),everything was good until someday the phone started to act really strange, working slow showing wierd messages, after restart it got stuck at the ipl/spl screen etc. so i looked on the web and found out that i need to reflash it.So far so good, downloaded the love rom flashed as instructed, phone restarted, went to screen alignment, and shut down.I did a secon reflash with the same rom, flash completed successfully but the phone did not start at all after that,no bootloader no nothing, tried hard reset, still no avail. So if someone can help me "unbrick" it,I would really apreciate.Best regards

Please help, I think I bricked my PPC! :(((

I tried flashing WM6 on my QTEK 2020, but I had the wrong version. I begun the upgrade having it on bootloader and after a while an error about updating radio occured. Now, my PPC powers up, but it gets stuck on the beginning with the "QTEK" logo with the clouds and the blue led that indicates the bluetooth is activated. Neither soft nor hard reset does anything and I can't flash the original rom through bootloader (I can boot the PPC in bootloader).
Does anyone have any idea please?
If you posted this in the Qtek2020 (Himalaya) forum, you might get a quicker response.
Thread moved out of the BA section
Maybe you should try reflashing. Just flashing a new ROM and then just a radio might do the trick.
How did you flash? With the No_ID?
And what were you trying to flash? A BA ROM while you have a HIMA?
OK!
It's ok now! I flashed the WM6 Rom having my PPC on bootloader and everything's fine!
Its very good to hear that..btw which rom did u flash before and what have u flashed now
I really can't remember what the previous rom was, but it was for another brand! It was stupid to flash that one! The one I have now is this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=332945
But I have a problem. The PPC restarts randomly even if I do nothing with it. I haven't overclocked it.
It is not got sign, if your PPC restarts randomly. Better you flash it again.
I flashed again the ROM from "Himalaya Mobile 6" category and the following link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=332945
but my PPC keep restarting and one more thing, WM6 kills my battery! I've got to charge it every day, before I charged it every 3-4 days. Does anyone have any idea what I should do? Can I put WM2003 now?
Hmmm... I'm using the 7c ROM from that page with no problems at all.
Did have some issues with some older apps and the config for TomTom when I switched to WM6, but not anymore.
What do you have installed, and what versions?
I have installed nothing but WM6!

PLEASE HELP! "no gsm" ....BRICK?

i posted this in another thread but no one replied so thought this one mite be more busy. forgive me if this is the wrong place to have posted this.
i am new to all this and i stupidly went running into things and tryed to ROM upgrade my t-mobile MDA Vario II (HERM300), not knowing i had to CID unlock first, it has broke! when i boot it up i can not get passed the t-mobile splash screen and it also flashes "no-gsm". i have read many suggestions on fixing this but i have had no luck. i can get into the boot screen however and get the red green and blue stripes.
i have IPL 1.01 and SPL 1.04.
it will allow me to connect to my PC with USB but active-sync does not recognize i have connected the phone.
please help someone. i just need a way i can get this thing working again. if i could just get the phone into a state of use again that would be good.

I don't think you'll get much help here as this is the WIZA100 & WIZA200 forum, not the HERM300...

You say that your device is still able to enter bootloader...? If this is correct then you do not have a brick. I understand that you do not have a Wizard, but a Hermes.
This is what you need to do:
Download the Hermes Official WM5 T-Mobile Rom
Put your Hermes in bootloader mode
Connect to your PC via USB
Run the ruu_hermes_tmhu_1.21.116.4_1.05.02.00_wwe_ship.exe that you just downloaded and you should have a working Hermes again.
Next time you want to upgrade your phone, you will want to read into what you are doing VERY extensively. You will find volumes of information under the Hermes sub-forum or in the WIKI under Hermes.
Good luck. Post back here if this was helpful just so I know I didn't waste my time.(thanks)
Non-Free Way to Unbrick
I bought one of these that was bricked one time. (for super cheap). After hours of trying stuff I broke down and paid $30 at imei-check.co.uk They sim unlock and CID unlock all at once. The result was an UNBRICKED phone. I still sold it and made about $100 profit. I think an HTC employee with insider info runs the site. Good luck.

Hang in bootloader

Hi @ all,
**** happens, yesterday i tried to upgrade my rom on charmer (mda compact 2).
During installation system hangs on and didn´t finish.
So now i have only the startscreen and can reach the bootloader.
Tried now to flash an original rom, the ruu says error 294 invalid vendor id.
Otherwise the ruu (for no id) ended with error 238 file read.
My bootloder shows IPL 1.12, SPL 1.12 and USB connected.
I have read a lot of threads but cant find a answer for that.
Has anyone a good idea?
Thanks a lot for helping.
I wish all users in that great forum a happy new year

Hi Ronni,
same problem here. Do you found any solution?
Is it right, that your Device not charging and USB is not recognizing too?

Are you trying to flash WM6 ROM to your charmer? Because WM6 required IPL and SPL level at least 2.xx.
Did you tried this method to bring charmer back to life?
wow, thank you for your quick response. Hmm, I´m not shure, it´s a PDA from a Collegue, I don´t know, what he do with it. (I know only he try to flash something) Next week he take it to our office, then I try your solution
Thank you again

Bricked?

Ok so I think my phone is bricked it was free so im not too fuzzed but would love to fix it.
HTC Wizard (QteK 9100)
I flashed it with windows 6.5 and decided I didn't realy like it and wanted to flash it with an older rom. After the reset it goes to the load screen where it tells you the OS version etc and doesn't go any further than that. All the guides I read tell me to load it up in bootloader mode and flash it but the problem is how? the phone is not seen by the computer any more.
pressing camera and power at the same time will get you into bootloader mode
then download the original ship rom http://rapidshare.com/files/188635235/RUU_Wizard_225111_22511102_022511_CWS_WWE_Ship_cingular.rar
run the ruu
and then it should be unbricked and you should be able to flash a newer rom
Hey Everyone,
There are a lot of posts out there with hung ROMs and desperate owners. My first reaction to this post was "how's the guy supposed to update his Cingular ROM if his PC can't see his computer and he can't Synch? " - but sure enough, I downloaded the file, ran it on my Cingular 8125 (which was hung at the boot screen, and unrecognised/unsynched) from the bootloader screen and it installed and revived the phone. Great post, very helpful - THANK YOU.
