What's wrong with links? Could I talk to the administrator on MSN Messenger or Google Voice about the links issue? I see no reason that that link should have been removed. Can someone clarify? Thanks.
Another thing - why can't we post links before our accounts are verified by a moderator? Is it because there aren't enough moderators to continuously moderate and ban spambots?
I'm not trying to be mean I just want to know.
Read what Fallen Spartan wrote. Seriously. He says exactly why the thread was closed and the link was deleted.
And yes, I think it's safe to assume that the reason your account has to be verified by a moderator is because of the influx of spam trolls.

fiktion is correct. New users aren't able to use links until they have posted 8 or more times. This is to help combat against spammers. For the same reason the first posts made by all new users have to be verified by moderators

I'm waiting for the day that there is a simple authentication service for any forum running VB. That way your posts are linked between forums (I hang out on anandtech and resellerratings) and things like this wouldn't be a problem. Even though this brings up a whole new issue of rules being different between forums.
Why was my thread deleted when it did not violate any of the rules?
I didnt even get a message saying it was deleted so I dont know who to PM to ask, so that's why I am asking here.
Have the common courtesy to send a PM stating the violation and then we'll know who we're supposed to respond to in regards to the action, and we can keep it private. But since this person did this anonymously I have no choice to ask publicly.
Okay so I have a vs980 half flashed to PagePlus and need it back on VZW appleflasher was the tool used I looked into it and apparently it will only half flash back as well how do I fix it I only have small experience in this area

Development is for development of Roms,etc. You asked a question and are troubleshooting. There is a stickied post (the second one on the development page) that says "★ ☆ ✰ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting do not go in the Development Section. ✰ ☆ ★ "
Okay well thanks for everyone's help it defiantly fixed my phone instead of *****ing about wrong section how about admins handle all that and just ban me cuz at this point this sites useless nobody is helpful haven't been in years at least for me cya glad I got my phone fixed

XDA is for the development of ROMS, software, apks, etc. It is NOT to help you put your phone on another carrier. That has never been supported on XDA. There are websites that you can get the info on, but XDA isn't one of them.
Could have fooled me I been here for years and for years I have came here with different phones and different options if you can find one thing that "officially" says that flashing carriers on here isn't within the confines of this website then I swear to god I'll delete my account and never return

Okay it's been 24hrs and still no answer so apparently I wasn't breaking the rules how about you **** off I asked for this to be closed and **** helping others nobody else here does all they do is ***** about "wrong area" how I fixed it is on me and if you ain't paying me then that info is mine

Yeah this is a voluntary support site, no one gets paid to help you either. Ever think no one knew the answer to your problem? No one complained about you re posting your question after 24 hours, just posting it in the wrong section. Keep being clueless about it though.

I got the wrong item shipped to me and submitted the ticket but honestly it seems like people get better customer service from forum sites like this...

OK so I bought a smartwatch for my wife.was pretty sure it would work. but she have a Huawei phone and I couldn't set the watch to answer the calls. I have a receipt but is open and used. My question is,can you somehow through hidden/secret menu or any other way. change something in the smartwatch to look faulty so I could get my money back.
