BEST?
why not try them all. The best is the one that YOU(only you) decide.

Hi ! First I'd like to say " Thank you ! " to all the developers here, you are doing a great job.
Second, I'm kinda a noob, cause I only got my Wizard (G3) 2 weeks ago... I curently have installed Molski's latest rom...and i'm pretty happy with it...
The problem is, I just want to make my own ROM, no offense.
I read all about extended rom cooking...it's ok, easy peasy , thx to Faria...but I read allot of posts and I just can't find how to make my own ROM, not ext rom...just like Molski did, or any other rom maker. I don't know if it's just me...
---So .... How can I make my own ROM , or bether said, my own RUU ?---
I kinda saw that those who ask stupid questions are rather ignored...I pray this isn't the case
And another thing... If any of you need some help...tester...or anything else, mabe we can work something out...
Thanks for your time , and keep up the good work !
Please read this
So, i'm guessing nobody knows, ha ?

Oh plenty of people have read this thread almost 80 views at last count. It's just that we have a couple of really good chefs here and the rest of us are testers.

PLUS -- there are already some really good threads in the Development section on how to "cook" your own ROM. . . as near as your search engine.
Take a look at these threads:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=249836
http://buzzdev.net/index.php?option=com_phorum&Itemid=125&phorum_query=read,64,23392
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=WM5EditROM
That should get you started... but most of the learning process is still trial and error
Good Luck

first thing is, do you know how to flash a custom/cooked ROM yet? if not start here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505377
if you want to know which ROM best suits your needs, read on the ROM threads and find its features and best thing to do then is to flash this to your device and see if you like it and if you encounter any problem then post them in its corresponding thread, also
USE SEARCH THE WIKI - http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Blackstone
AND the FORUM RULES
i know how to install even i have one custom rom but its too slow and so many errors so please suggest somthing good
Skiing in the Swiss mountains is always good

Best Rom for HD? No such thing bro as it ultimately comes down to personal preference.
Stable Rom? Here are a few names of chefs that I've found to be very stable... Energy, Miri, PhamQuang, and XannyTech.
As per above post. Try a few and make your own opinion as everyone's is different. This is why questions like yours are frowned upon in XDA....they create endless long threads due to everyone having a different opinion

well, welcome to xda
you are unfortunately not the first to ask that question and I fear you won't be the last either...
check one of the older threads on the subject, don't neglect to read the last post for educational reasons
analyze your needs, check rom threads first posts for descriptions/content/aim, compare both, try some roms and thus find >your< best rom on your own, only way there is
cheers
Hi everybody,
I'm totally new in the I9000 world, I just owned a Desire some months ago for a limited time.
I need to reflash my i9000 and I just don't know how to choose a ROM. I've read some tutorials about how to flash, how to get the best from the I9000...but I didn't find anything about the differences of the ROMs.
So here what I need : I'm looking for a ROM pure Android, no fancy Samsung effects. And this ROM can allow some overcloking and/or voltage management, it's perfect. I'm not looking for a overloaded ROM, just a simple one on which I can install the apps of my own choice.
Any advices?
Thanks.
Good title of the thread!
hit thankxx if i helped. sent from my mind through telepathy (ya its possible)!
You could always try just a stock Android. Download the latest one, give it a go. Couple it with a kernel for overclocking and whatever other features you need—and that should do the trick!
Otherwise, honestly, the only way is to try them. Check the dev section, read the threads, pick out ones that look good to you, and then start flashing! It's honestly not too complicated of a process. Flash a few of them, see what you like and what you don't like, pick the winner, and then start setting up your phone.
Good luck!
Ok, let's do this. Thanks upichie.

You're very welcome. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions. I'm no developer, but I know my way around flashing a phone.
I'd recommend Insanity cm.
Very light, fast and also gives good battery life.
Thanks Wesku, let's give a try to Insanity.

Have a look at this post.

And next time please use the search before creating a new thread.
PS: A mere search will also tell you about the differences in ROM's that you are pondering upon. So please use it my friend.
Cheers
