New user here.

Sup peeps. I just wanted to drop by and share my thoughts with you. I have a Xperia X1 at the moment and have used lots of other HTC devices before that.
A couple of weeks ago, while looking for a backup device, I got a second hand Kaiser from a friend of mine. It was a good deal and the device is in a very nice shape.
I am mostly done installing apps and tweaking it. I must say that, I am very happy with my puchase. It is a great device and can serve me well even as a primary!
I want to say a big thank you to all the people contributing to the Kaiser forums. I was able to fix all the little issues and to find useful tweaks in the threads of the this forum. All the question I had, have been answered already, with solution for most of the problems as well.
Cheers and keep it up! I am expecting to get many years of service from this device .

I'd like to contribute sth. for xda again and I dont know if I should post sth. for Android/Desire or WinMo/Xperia.
I'd like to cook a Rom or make Skins and Wallpapers for Windows Mobile, because it's easier for me, but if nobody is here anymore that will be lost time.

Yup I AM looking for more xperia 1 applications -can you please guide me I want to use the call recordern in win mobile notes - but it stops recording automatically after 30 seconds - please help reply to [email protected] - thanks in advance

HAHA, true. But it will be a good indication of just how many active members there are on the xperia forums.
I'm quite excited about the android development and when it is stable it'll be going straight onto my x1.
But for now, the winmo is the way to go.

Monitor how many posts the forum has per day and how much it increases every 24 hours, then you'll know how many folks are on it everyday and conributing etc might be more accurate method

still got my x1a. dont go to the xperia as often as i use to but i drop in every now and then.
bought an hd2 and so i visit that sight a little more frequent. but even before i bought my hd2, i didnt visit the xperia as much as when i had the xperia in the first year.
now today, im going to go buy the palm pre plus from at&t and so i will be frequently dropping by the precentral.net
sure would like to see webos ported to either the x1 or hd2

But I came here more when I just became a member. Now I only check the Rom development and the Android sections. And I think this is maybe the same for other users. You should check out those threads aswell. But it is allways great when someone new wants to develop for our devices! So please choose the Xperia!

I had my X1i for 8 month's now and had no problems at all and Android makes the X1i that much more enjoyable. I'm very happy to hear you want to make more cool improvements to are phones.

[Q] my Xperia Arc S smells bad!!!

i've recently bought an xperia arc s smart phone
i noticed that when i run a heavy game the phone smells bad!! especially when i open the back cover,, i can easly smell it.
it's not coming from the battery, i think the source of it is near the camera
i want to know if this is normal o it's a problem with my device

Porting from xperia z

Hello guys ... with much regret I am seeing no development for this device even though now it was solved the problem of bootloader ... I do not consider myself an expert of Android, but I would love to give a hand perhaps realizing some porting from xperia z ... would it be possible?
P.S. Obviously I did not mean to offend anyone, put it in a hurry or cause any misunderstanding ... just let notary that although this is a great device, I expected more though, as always, the devs have done a great job

It'll be, Z1 is still relatively new device...
I'm not happy because all great devs (the one that I know) bought Xperia Z and they won't buy Z1...
That doesn't necessarily means that they will not develop for Z1 but Z1 won't be their priority...
Few more things, we got 4.3 the other day and everything is still fresh so, just give devs time and you'll see how many ROMs and MODs you'll get.
Check Xperia S threads, device is from 2011/2012 and now, almost three years after there's bunch of software...
I found that important, when Sony say goodbye we have our great developers
You have great tutorial on line (on XDA) learn, ask and built something, help community...
We all started like that, try something simple, MOD theme or change few icons...
Some of us learned just the basics and some learned how to compile whole ROM.
You only need time...plenty of time to learn...and you'll see, it's not so hard to make/mod/build something.
And yeah...many apps from Xperia Z will work on Z1, porting isn't necessarily for every app.

No Development:

I just bought a xperia z3+ dual and found out there is no development on xda for this phone.
I thought as xperia z3 got huge response from dev's this phone will also be getting good development.
Any one got any idea, why dev don't want to develop anything for this device.

You have to wait a few days or perhaps weeks, the developers are doing their job. As there wasnt that much interest into this device in the first months it wasnt interesting for the Devs, but if you read a little bit around on XDA you will finde some informations given last week that there will come something really nice to our devices.

Yeah I am too waiting for CM or AOSP Roms.
