How to change the touch flo 3D theme?

As a title... I can't find any possibility to change my default them for the touch 3D. Anyone can help me?

I like to change the color of the touchflo theme to black (from o2 xda blue). How to do that? Any ideas?

All the files are in die "Windows"-folder.

i can tell how to change back ground... go to settings from touch flo then wallpaper.. select any pic.

I found the ugly blue background branded by O2 in the WINDOWS directory (at least I think it is that one): \WINDOWS\stBackImage.png
However TotalCommander states that it is in the ROM and I can't seem to modify it in any way. This is where some more WM6 experienced people would be needed to tell me how to modify these files?

An alternative approach I tried: I looked for the filename in the registry, but can't seem to find it.

Well the blue-ish O2 theme is something i COULD live with - it's not THAT ugly - but then again: I wish I wouldn't have to

you can create a file with the same name and extension on you're desktop
eddit it with any paint progam and save it,
Now you can try to copie it and overwrite it on you're device...
it works for me, if not for you, you have to wait until some has unlocked the rom files

nope, activesync tells me that the drive is either read-only or the file is write-protected...

I would also LOVE to know how to change ALL the backgrounds in touch flo 3D.

I managed to overwrite this file - without success... it doesn't seem to be the right file...
I can't find any other file that looks like the touchflo 3d background - unfortunately...
has anyone found other files that could be the right ones?

why not simply reflash with another rom? as far as I know all cooked roms contain the standard (black) version of TF3D...

because this is not what I want...
although black is prettier than blue the o2 theme looks better (icons, no green borders etc)
I just want to change the background image of tf3d on all pages...

There was another thread where l3v5y was discussing which files were the graphics in TouchFLO 3D, but I can't find it now.
Also, ideally, some one would make a customizer that was extensible enough to change theme designs for a wider range of applications. See this thread:

what is this? or what does it do? does it completely replace tf3d or just the background?
btw: is there an overview over all *_manila files?

on touch flo 3D, \i think thats 9th tab, that mean after Weather u,ll find Settings than from settings 3rd one Wallpaper (Home Wallpaper) select it & change to any pic ulike. but this will only will efect for touch flo home only.

Exactly just the first background, that makes it pretty useless.
I can't imagine why HTC were that braindead they didn't include such a feature.

Weird Start Menu

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone can help me out, I have made a few mods to my HTC Diamond, and everything has been cool, until I ran SBP screenshot, after running it, it stuffed up my start menu to look like the following....

I did just have the standard black startmenu, small icons, with white text, and now look

Its white on white with large icons, did a soft reset and still no good.
Please help me!!

Maybe go to Settings/Today and select another theme, click OK, return to Settings/Today and choose HTC Black again.

try to change your font and font size back to normal

Decrease your font size or switch the classic "small" Start Menu

Thanks Guys!! I had to uninstall the font, it was fine after that.
I tried re-sizing it and it didnt do anything. I will try re-installing it and see how I go.

i've been having the same problem ever since I did a hard reset a couple of days ago, and no matter where I look, I can't find the setting to select the classic "small" start menu. any advice?

Hi! I'm new to this, and for that reason my question may seem a little bit off...
Why is it so hard to change the home tab font color in HD? Is there any application that can be used?
I goggled it everywhere... nothing... i installed uitweaker, doesn't work.
Can you tell me if you know anything about that?

i just installed this on my fuze and have a few issues..
i currently have a stock rom and using "da mad scientists" manila theme. i turned off tf3d before i installed the cab then turned tf3d back on and more than just the font color changed..
i was using the hd contacts tab and now the icon to send a text message is missing from each contact and the internet bookmarks changed from the 3d "going away look" to the normal 2d list.
i then disabled tf3d, uninstalled this cab, soft reset,enabled tf3d and the font is still black and all the tabs are the same..
anyone have a guess how to fix this?

Comm manager font - help needed

When I istalled it the comm manager font was changed. After uninstall I cant get the original font back. Does anybody know how this can be fixed? Any help will be much appreciated.

hello, mate, i've had a long running battle with different fonts and font changing programs on my SEX1i, few suggestions, download some free fonts from net, and put ones you like into windows/fonts folder, then it becomes even more intersting as CommMANAGER takes first SUITABLE font and uses it, so you can basically change it by deleting fonts alphabetically from the top, problem is , that some other programs use same process, so u should choose font that shows numbers as well , and , more importantly in my case, supports other languages, i suggest common windows fonts like book antiqua, georgia, couirier, arial and so forth, oh , and only .TTF fonts seem to work. you can also change font and its SIZE through fwe programs, like SPB Tips And Trix, AdvConfig, STK tools, XperiaTweak 2.0 and probably few others, check them out, but be careful, especially if you are bilingual, cause CommManager shares font with Opera and some dialers, if u need more info - U R WELCOME to drop me a line, as i said, i ve been having an ongoing battle with fonts and font sizes, and tried most options [email protected]

Disable samsung large indicator if you have it on.

not working on my O2...
i did the instructions above... but still get default WM notifications... (i8000 with 6.1 here) <-- is that the reason?
or...i have finger menu and notifications enabled.. does that conflict with it?

I think that this will not work with 6.1 images. But, you can try to manually start the notificationmanager service using sktools. try to do it and tell me if it works.

Open sktools, tap Category > Maintenance > Services.
Find "Notification Manager" on the list. Tap and hold > Start.

Don't work well on localized rom's (no text on panels) and where default style is black background....

tried the above task, still not working on 6.1
so sad, that app looks sooo good!

For instance, the black background may be solved by using the "htc black" theme. You can find it here on xda.
And, using any file manager, duplicate the following files:
NotificationManager.dll.0409.mui -> NotificationManager.dll.0415.mui
NotificationLayout.dll.0409.mui -> NotificationLayout.dll.0415.mui
Both files are located on \Windows. After duplicating these files, reboot. Copying these files should make english text work.
I will check if I can support polish on this cab.

Thx, it works now. I have enbled temporary default blue wm 6.5 theme to have white backgrounds, but with dark elements it would be better.
I have tried to search for that htc black heme, but I have found just qvga version.
If someone have wvga version of HTC black theme, it would safe me from hours of searching

Do you mean that the whole thing does not work on 6.1 or just the Bubble? I was checking here on 6.1 emulator and the notification list (tapping on the title bar icons) works, only the styled bubble that does not work.

..nice work, looks nice.. works fine on my I8000 WM 6.5.3 rom...
it'd be great work, if you'd edit the icons to match the large indicator in htc style

Although the author is saying that it is QVGA, it works out-of-the-box for me.

I'm using currently WM6.5.3 ROM and I want to keep WM notification upper bar after tapping, and obtain only HTC notification pop-ups on the bottom of the screen
