Hi
Can anyone help? I have managed to unlock my phone but have no tones / sounds, all it does is vibrate. I have also tried calls and I can not hear the other person and they cant hear me! I suspect its an easy fix for you guys in the know - help please, just getting to grips with all this and really want to get into it.

Sorted - Thanks to doing what I should have done in the 1st place and searched through the threads! Just that I needed it sorting like yesterday and was looking for some quick help, The answer by the way was by going to the T-Mobile website to get the latest Rom update/download. Thanks again you guys out there and I hope when I grow up to be as good as you on these amazing machines ;-)

I installed the Voip.cab for WM6.1 to get voip funcionality.
I have the problem, that I can't hear my partner, when I'm calling via VoiP.
I can dial normally, the phone of my partner rings, but I can't hear anything. The phone recognizes, that my partner picked up the phone and starts the clock of the call duration. When I speak, my partner can hear me, but not in the other direction. I can't hear anything.
If I call my Voip-number, my diamond also doesn't ring.
Is there anything I forgot in the settings?

i think that you have to open concrete ports in fiewall to avoid this one-way audio issue. i don´t remember which ports do you have to open. check voipbuster.com forums and you´ll get it.

thanks for your hint, but after lots of reading in voipbuster and google I have found nothing, which really works for my diamond. Many others wrote about these problems with Touch Diamond.
I only found Port 5060, which I opened. But nothing changed:
I can call anybody, anybody can call and hear me. But I hear nothing.
Can anyone give concrete hints for this problem?

I could finally manage to solve my problem. But now I can only hear my partner thru the external speaker.
Does anyone know, how to set the output to internal speaker.

Can someone help me with a pet project?
I love my Vario III but I don't like taking it with on nights out so I have a cheap phone for hitting the pubs. However, the cheap phone won't take my Vario III sim so I forward calls to the other number.
Does anyone know if there's a way to also forward text messages?

i am a new touch diamond owner from sprint and i flashed mighty rom 4.8 from ppcgeeks.com forum. now i am recieving a ringer bug that when i get calls my phone doesnt always ring and i miss calls. my question to you is since we think it is an sys problem is there an easy fix or do we have t wait for the builder of the rom to implement a fix or a new version of the rom? or does anyone here no of a fix? that would really help bc i really cant keep missing calls and ive been hearing thats its not just this rom that i am on, but a few other roms as well. thank you in advance for any and all your help you guys would have to offer me and other mightyrom users.

Today i found out that it seems when people call me it just gives them a fast busy signal and thats all, it does not ring or go to voicemail, just an instant fast busy signal. but i am able to call out still just fine and im able to send and receive text msgs. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem or knows anything about it. before i have to call TMO for the issue. My phone im using is a Black HTC Dream / G1. This is my day to day phone not my root phone. any help or advice would be great. thank you in advance for your time and help.

I'm not aware of any setting that will do that... have you tried putting your simcard in a different phone? If it does the same thing with a different phone, then it is definitely a service provider issue.

Hi all. What a great forum! I own my Htc Touch Viva (Opal T2223) since last January. I have a big problem. When people call me, it happens sometime that they hear the waiting for answer tone, but my phone does not ring. In addiction to this, the Touch Viva does not report any information about the unanswered calls. So they say: "ehi dear, why didn't you call me back?". And I: "when did you call me? I have receveid no call from you." Did anyone have the same problem? Thanks in advance.
P.S. When the problem was manifesting itself, I was using the original rom (6.1 Windows Mobile). After an Hard reset for the device, the problem was still manifesting.

Sit with its settings and try again...well,intrude in the sounds and notifications settings and play your customization games..best of luck...if you cant,try reflashing a new WM6.1 on the device...ask for links if you need any!!!best of luck!!
