Does anyone know of a Pulse rom that is still in development(on xda or elsewhere)? I really liked Diaz's rom and would still be using it if it didn't reboot after calls.
I'm sure I'm not the only person who liked this rom.
I did searches on XDA and Google, came up with nil.(sorry if I missed anything)

I love the Pulse rom too, my favorite actually. The Droid Heaven rom cause alot of FC's on my G1, completely unusable for me.

I was going to mess with it but really all I wanted was the home launcher ported. Still, it's Cupcake and I've been working on Donut. Still have a working build (for a Vogue/Kaiser though). What are you trying to do with it? It seems really scaled down and bare but I would like to scrape it for parts maybe. The 9 panel zooming home screen is really nice

is there a hero based flip clock widget that actually flips? i tried the weather widget donate but it doesn't actually flip it seems.
No. Even the hero widget doesn't flip anymore because of the lag on the screen.
I know, I was pretty bummed when I saw that it had no animation. Still a great app, I love it. Since flash is enabled on mytouch (I'm assuming, only had it for a couple days) i'm wondering if someone around could cook up a flash clock with the animation. I wonder...
Yeah that flip clock looked pretty sad when I used the Hero Rom.
Actually the entire Hero Rom itself looked sad on my Magic, made me sad too.
I wonder if its a driver issue, or lack there of. I wonder if there'll be an HTC class action release. Oops, getting ahead of myself lol

But why? My rom is working perfect on my 32A Magic. It is fast as hell and there is no lag any more. Before i was using Dream, but hero is verry laggy on that device. But the 32A Magic is the best. It works like a charm!

Ive been playing around with theming my phone for a while... I like where this one is going and I cant justify not sharing... Hopefully some one can give me some direction an a lil guidance, or even take over what I started... IDC.. I hope you enjoy..

sofar ive had to extract the zip on my computer and transfer the unzipped parts to androidtheme folder
applied a couple sofar, will apply the others i choose then restart and update on results

So as I was looking through an old 8gb sdcard I found this theme.. since I have grown as a themer by leaps and bounds I can't in good conscience release this as it was.. I will be rebuilding this from the ground up while adding in a lot more framework edits..
I am currently running a cm froyo rom so that will be the first compatible rom.. thanks for your patience..

This is my first attempt at Rom development. After flashing many Roms from great developers here on XDA I have decided to try my hand at it. I'm sure you might ask what's different about this Rom compared to others you have already used. All I can say is this, I have taken the elements that I have grown to love from my favorite Roms and Themes and baked it into something I can be happy with. I hope you will be happy too!

So I was just thinking and the notifications will probably be a little too "filled" with the recent apps there too. I personally use my phone alot while im usb tethering and more stuff pushing the notifications downward would be very annoying to me. Just a little thought i had.

Well that was just a thought I had. I am working on a few things right now. The recent apps idea was one, but you are right, so i may look at some other ideas.

1. Can We Change The Font In Your ROM Into The System Default?
And Two
2. Can We Change The Battery Icon? I Personally Don't Like The Number Percentage On The Battery.
Other Than That, I Like The Look Of Your ROM, Good Job!
I Went Ahead And Installed The ROM Last Night, Overall Quick And Snappy ROM.

I am working on a Theme port atm so that is why I have been so slow for an update. You should see this Theme this weekend as long as I can get the original Themer to reply with a go ahead permission. I am also working on some new updates to this Rom so hopefully if all goes well you should see an update to it as well.

The font is something I had for myself, you can get those from many places. If you have trouble locating them just PM me and I will point you in the right direction.

I have been getting great battery life, but I don't know what apps you are using so I can't diagnose what the problem is. I will work on fixing the market theme this weekend before my next update. I appreciate your comments, it only makes me better at this!
So I have looked around for lockscreen mods for CM6 and I haven't found any. I know there are a lot for things like Fresh with the rotary lockscreen. Something similar to the following would be amazing:
Rotary with two buttons:

I know some of these images are in our roms, cm6 roms at least. The 2 button rotary looks cool, I am gonna flash it BRB may take a few, might have to nandroid back LOL.

Dont look good for the home team I got boot looped after the flash. I know some of the images for this are already in our roms, it would prob just need to be edited/ported over. I cant help you there, sorry. I would like to see the 2 button option if anybody knows how to fix this

Yeah but it was worth a shot There must have been a idea to include these lock screens on cm6.1 at one time because the rotary arrows for the lock screen are in the current cm6.1 rom!
well, ive been reading around, and the current CM6.1.1 has the rotary lockscreen somewhere in the options. i dont want to use a sense rom just to get this super awesome feature. i would die without the notification toggles. so, if we can get the piece from the new source, then things will be good, right?

Not sure what you mean? Cm6 isn't sense based... And yes, the most recent cm's have the option to use the standard sliders or the rotary.

The nightlys have the options and Jaybob413's roms which is based off CM6 has this option as well.

no, i mean that the mods in the OP are for 2.1 sense based roms. im running cm6.1, and i dont want to go to the sense roms just for a lockscreen. i use the notification widgets too much for me to live without them now. but i was messing around in the cyanogen github, and i think i found some of the new parts for the rotary lockscreen... but i dont know what to do with them. i have little programming/system knowledge to this extent, so yeah.

Why would you need to do anything as the rotary lock is already built into cm as early as nightly 187? Unless you are using an older version, the option is in cm settings.

If you don't know what you're looking for, we can show it to you.
He's probably referring to the "Ultimate Settings" mod the creator of UD added to the Settings.Apk of the ROM.
He added a whole new menu of options to Settings.Apk that basically gives the user a whole new level of customization of the phone. MANY admin settings are in there. And a lot of options to fine tune some of the big settings from the other menu's.
Ultimate Droid is definitely one of the most robust Android ROM's available. Too bad BlackDroid only really develops for the Droid 1/2/X phones. Although he's supposed to be working on a Fascinate version, which I would love to port once it's out. Mikey, you should look at some videos of the newest Ultimate Droid ROM. GREAT IDEAS.
P.S. His window animations are pretty slick as well, but they need actual porting I think, because they cause some FC's on Serendipity
A buddy of mine has a Droid 1 and although I love my cappy, Serendipity and Perception, I drool over his phone. Some of the ROMS for that thing are just ridiculous, Ultimate Droid being just one of them.
And right now, as much as you can do stylistically with those ROMS, all I really care about really is getting the CRT style animation.
It's alright, we might be a couple months behind, but we'll get there.
I hope UD comes to a cappy near us soon!
