Record calls with Hero? - Hero, G2 Touch Themes and Apps

Is there any way to record your calls with the HTC Hero?
I've looked in the menu during a call and didnt find anything... maybe there is an app for it?
Help pls
Thanks /Nofowuw

vrecord app

No Such App
There are no matches in Android Market for the search: vrecord

Try vrecorder - but look at the comments before you bother downloading. It seems that it needs to be on loudspeaker before it will work otherwise it only picks up your voice.

Try RECOROID, this app allow You to record voice memo and calls. It's automatically start when You have call in progress.

I use Ultimate Voice Recorder

[Q] Where is the call answer button?

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to answer an incoming call on my tab. I have the overcome 2.0.0 rom, and a Tmobile tab.
I have gvoice set up properly, I'm able to call the tab from another phone, it rings through, and when I slide the notification bar down, I see this, the phone icon (which I tapped and nothing happened), mute, headset, and end buttons. I do not see any other button or way to let me answer the incoming call. I am stumped. This is what I see. What am I missing? Is it the rom? Can anyone please help?
Thanks.
Ok, I'm going to try to answer your question but I have a few myself. Are you using google voice via sip account for your calls? If so, maybe someone has an answer for you, as I do not use google talk. Um, so generally in the Tab when someone calls you, u see the call and use the slider to answer.

Yes, google voice via antisip and ipkall. That picture I posted is what I see when a call comes in. That's the notification pulldown. When a call comes, I have to wake the screen and then use the pulldown, but there's no slider or anything to answer the call.
Sorry I can't be of more help but I'm not using clip at the momment. Have you read the overcome thread to see if anyone else was having problems with voip or their website?
Don't you tap the phone icon (green button)?
he's saying it does nothing

Yes I tried that. It doesn't do anything, it doesn't change color or move, it's frozen just the way it looks in that pic. I'm wondering if it's missing in the rom. I can call the phone, and it rings and rings, but I can't physically answer it. I haven't tried via bluetooth headset or something like that yet.
I bet your going to need a different app to make this work.
I use GV on my SGT, and it works fine.
I agree with Starlog. For sip or voip apps, they usually have their own dialer app.
Go to the market and search voip, sip, or antisip.

Ok, I dl'd the apps Gvoice, and Gvoice callback since I think those were the ones needed? When I call through Gvoice callback, the GV calls my Gtab back to connect the call, but I can't pick it up, since I can't figure out why the button won't work. It rings the number I'm calling, but because Gvoice calls the number I'm dialing as well as my gtab and I can't push a button to connect, I'm stuck. Maybe I need a new dialer?
Ok shooting in the dark here, but isnt there in settings > call settings go to internet call settings. check those options in gingerbread under accounts and see if that helps. Again, I do not use sip or voip.

I have the settings set up right. I can get calls coming through, but I have no way to answer them. Maybe bluetooth will work. I'll have to check when I get back home.
I have same problem. Voip callas work, but can not answer incoming call.
2.6.35.7 Overcome-v3.1.0#16
Overcome v2.0.1-HERMES
Must have been the overcome Gold ROM. I flashed CM7 and with the same settings, it all works, and I can make and receive calls. Thanks for all the help!
Now I have updated new Ikaros, but same same. Can not answer internet call?
Does anyone know the solution?!?
I have now upgraded to Jupiter. Now I can reject the call, but not still can answer the call.
I can not write to the overcome-conversation because I have too few messages.

[Q] Call recorder app that integrates with or replaces dialer

hello.
I looked in the market extensively but couldn't find what I wanted. is there an app that does something similar to providing you with an option to record when a call comes in or when you call out? all of the apps seem to just record every call when the service is on. I dont know if that's a technical limitation or not.
thanks!

[Q] Looking for an app to record calls

Hi,
I am looking for an android app to record the calls. I did search the forums and I couldn't find anything specific to my requirement.
1. App should be able to record two calls (both my side and caller side).
2. App should be able to record the calls with and without speaker.
3. App must be able to record the calls irrespective of the mode of call. I mean, the app should be able to record calls that I attend/make with native dialer or talkatone for google voice or skype call. I am not seeing any app that does it.
I am willing to pay a small price for an app that does all the above.
Google voice call recording is not an option for me.
Thanks,
Balaji.
Total Recall....not bad recording on both ends. Need to be rooted, 30 day trail period, then $9.95.

You could always root your phone and flash this. It's got to be the easiest way to record calls.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44792443
You can install Exposed Installer and enable this by downloading the module "EnableCallRecording"...to me worked alright!
HERE you can find more informations about modules and the proper instalation...
Make sure you aren't in a 2-party state or you could be breaking the law by recording phone calls without the other person knowing.

Record call automatically on Cyanogenmod 13

Hi all,
I am using CyanogenMod 13 nightlies for my Moto X Play device. As you may aware it has inbuilt call recording option. during a call I have to ON the record call option. But I would like to do this task automatically via Tasker (if possible). means whenever I received a call or make a call it should automatically record all calls (Hope Tasker have that ability). Can you guys please help me on that. How can Tasker automatically ON the "record call" option, please share.
Regards,
Suman

guys any help please.
I'd say, try to auto tap on record call when current window is call screen
app totalRecall
I don't want to use any app. Just want to use my cyanogen rom which has inbuilt call recording app which works fine for me. But to record a call i has to tap the record call button during a call. Which I don't want. I want to use tasker app to automate the process for me, ie whenever I receive a call or dial a call it (tasker) automatically tap te record call button for me.

You can try using the AutoInput Plugin to automate taps
yes or u can use input tap function, better option still would be to use a call recorder which has Tasker plugin support
AutoInput is easier to use but it doesn't always work in all apps. If you are rooted however a input tap shell command will always work.

Google Voice not working

this device's Skinned OS has issues with Google Voice.....
it states "call not sent" when trying to connect using Google Voice app, and routes call through normal number
must use Hangouts for GV calling no integration with phone app,
gorgeous phone, that kills it
hopefully we can get CyanogenMod 13/14 for this thing.. :/
Yeah the lack of google voice support is a real pain with this device. As a dedicated voice user I've spent a lot of time searching and hacking around with it trying to get the best functionality I could. Here's the best solutions I've come up with
Voicemail
I have managed to get conditional call forwarding to work to push my calls to my google voicemail using mmi codes, the settings in the dialer app were useless for this. The following mmi code is what did it for me, it seemed that changing the ring delay was important too which is the last number in the code.
Open the dialer and type in the following code replacing the xyz with your google voice number. The phone should tell you it's running an mmi code, that it was successful and that the ring time was changed as well.
**004*+1xxxyyyzzzz*11*25# (replace the xyz with your google voice number)
Making Calls
So far there is no true solution for this but this is the best workaround I've come up with so far. Other than using the hangouts dialer app which uses data for calls (not ideal unless you're on wifi)
1. Go into settings > accessibility and turn on the toggle for power button ends call
2. Make sure google voice is set to ask on every call. google voice settings > Making calls > Ask every time I make a call
3. make a call as normal from the dialer but as soon as the call starts hit the power button to end the call
4. the gv menu will still be up asking you whether you want to use google voice or your carrier number
5. select google voice and the dialer will complete the call with your gv number
It's not the most convenient solution but it works until (hopefully) something better comes along
hey guys, not sure if this is helpful but I flashed the stock modded GV apk (you can find it here on XDA, won't let me post links). After that, using the GV interface if you go thru history and click on the phone # through there, it will work as intended and make calls using the GV #. I guess you'll just have to use the GV app as your contacts and dial thru there.
