In my mind this is a great combination. Any experts on rom cooking ?

I think you posted a wrong link for something else; this is PDAVIET's own cooked experimental ROM where X-button doesn't work etc. etc.
I have tried it; didn't like it.

Yes great idea, just the official ROM, and with TouchFlo, no extra crap, and a nice pagepool size.

It's a very nice rom PDAVIET created, but i agree with you. An official rom version, multilanguage with TouchFlo and stuff would be SUPERB!

agree!! req official WM6 ROM, with TouchFlo, no extra crap.

Clean ROM ? for Wing

Is there a clean ROM that has no additional apps, i would run the official T-Mobile ROM but i just hate all the extra stuff T-Mobile added. So i'm using PDAVIET .15 now , also checking the Touch-It for Wing waiting for it to be completed but i dont rly use the Touch Cube so much.
I also want a rom that had the Wing keyboard layout
Is there such thing ?

You can try experimenting with one of the Touch-It that are in progress...
I think the 2nd or 3rd beta Rom was a clean rom with nothing added.

does it still have all the extra T-Mo applications ?
i just installed the Beta 5 and it has all the things the RUU has ( plus the extra Touch It stuff ) so i suppose the stripped version will still have them ?

I honestly don't know.
Most of the 3rd party Rom's have the TMO crap removed... especially if you look at some of the rom's built upon the htc roms, and not built around the tmobile rom.

Yeah PDAVIET didnt have any of the T-Mo crap
but the keyboard does not match ( which i actually got used to ) plus i never use TouchFlo
i was wondering what if i flash a HTC P4350 ROM ?
will there by any issues besides the keyboard layout ?

If you are patient, the tool for installing PDAVIET v14 should be out shortly! So you'll have pdaviet v14 with a working keyboard! woot!

only i dont use TouchFlo as much as i thought i would so i'm looking for something w/o it, cuz sometimes while i'm browing though the internet somehow it automatically activated when i scroll

I'm downloading the HTC ROM from the HTC E-Club for the p4350 now, hopefully it'll work

Since what the tool u posted removed the Device check u think it'll work if i extract the RUU from the official P4350 ROM and flash that1 will it work? Or will it just brick since its for P4350 ( even though its almost the same as the Wing )

Gizzy... did you ever tried to install that p4350 rom on the wing... I'm looking at the same thing and can't find if it should work.

Soon, you'll be able to build your own ROM with as little as you want on it and only the programs you want in it. I never got the extracted P4350 ROM to run on the Wing properly, but I wonder if it was because I downloaded a mislabeled ROM.

i got it to work by bypassing the Device ID check, but didnt rly like it

There is links to stock blackstone roms on this site aswell as on the official HTC site, or are you to lazy to use search and expect somebody to provide link for you?

He means a STOCK ROM with just Manila changed...this is not available anywhere as Manila cabs are not available [plz correct me if am wrong]... The only way to change your manila would be flashing with some of the cooked ROM available here in this forum... Have noticed that Topix and Laurentius are doing pretty well in 6.5 ROMs though dutty's one has more bugs in it right now, but surely the master will cook something out of the blue next time...Just visit his website for more updates...

Thats right

At present this does not exist and I can't see any chef's doing this either.
However I believe Miri and some other chef's have already created lite roms with manila 2.5 on it.
I suggest you try searching for these

Problem with my WM6.5!

I have a major problem right now.
i wanted to get co0kies home tab on my TP2
but i think that something screwed up..
i followed this tutorial for manila / sense 2.5

after installing sense 2.5.2012.cab i've got this problem..
the language changed to english ( was on dutch )
and now i have this..
everything is wrote in capslock, and has IDS_ infront of it.
example: IDS_INTERNET, IDS_MUSIC_LIBARY, IDS_TWITTER, IDS_SETTINGS
etc etc
how do i fix this?

i have the standart ROM, Did not flash it ! ( NO HARD-SPL OR W/E IT MEANS )

i've turned off HTC Sense, and turned on the normal WM GUI, Very simple but works without problems, so i think that i'ts the Sense that isn't working correct..

Maybe there's a way to sort things out on your phone right now, but I think it would be a lot simpler if you flashed a ROM that already had Sense 2.5 and Cookie baked into it. There are plenty of ROMs here that should do that for you, though of course you would need HardSPL first.
The sticky postings about HardSPL and how to flash ROMs are very detailed and explain things well. But if you have further questions on those then you can ask in those threads.
Someone else might come along and tell you how you can fix your Sense 2.5 right now, but that's beyone what I can do myself.

That doesn't have anything to do with whether your phone is unlocked though, you may well find it doesn't work (saying "invalid vendor id", or similar).
The official HTC ROMs will only work on HTC-branded phones for that specific area/region, unless you have HardSPL.

I will download the official HTC Rom for Europe Users,
After fixed, i will try to HARDSPL.
what does it means actually?

spl
im no pro but flashing hardspl will allow "unsigned" roms to be flashed. this means roms from htc and "cooked" roms will work on you're phone.

[Question]Stock rhodium rom with WM6.5 and sense 2.5

Hey guys.
Is there a stock WM6.5 sense 2.5 rom for the rhodium? Ive been searching but i cant find one. I need a Dutch (NLD) or English rom.

Yes, Theres WWE and some other versions. But trust me, you wont like it. I am on Energy and just switch to stock to see the difference, And I found myself back with an energy rom within one hour. But still you are interested, maybe can give you a link by tomorrow....

Do you have HardSPL on your phone already ? Sorry if you already know this, but you won't be able to use an official HTC ROM unless you've got a non-carrier-branded phone (i.e. a plain HTC phone) and it's of the correct region. Or unless you install HardSPL.

My signature states i currently use energyrom, which wouldnt be able without hard-spl. And i got a unbranded plain 'htc' device ;]

Energy Rom
I see you talking about the energy rom. I've tried severall, but they al drain my battery like crazy....
Is there someone with a new energy rom link?
I've contact my carrier as the shop where i'v baught the phone. First i have to give them at least 5 changes to fix my realllyyyyyyyy slow interface..
After 5 times no succes they will think about replacement...
So, who can give me a good link for energy...
(i've got hrd-spl)

I must say, that stock ROM with sense 2,5 is really horrible. It is incredibly slow and unstable and it was the reason that I flashed to energy ROM which is more that 4 times faster and more stable.....
Don't flash to latest stock ROM
if you want to try then here are links, also with localizations

You have to adjust the battery and backlight settings, plus tweak using the advanced configuration program NRG has cooked in. Then it will get decent battery use.
Read the first three posts of the NRG ROM thread to get the download links.
