HTC Fuze - Stock ROM
I installed TCPMP but it will not load, it just says an error has occurred and says it writes crash.txt.
Any suggestions?
I struggled at first, try this version:
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/david.severn/TCPMP-0.72RC1-ARM-PPC-recomp-03.CAB
also check out doug simmons' blownfuze.org, he has useful links for download.. and a tcpmp file.. just click find in page and type in tcpmp
for some reason, i can't get blownfuze.org to pop up, weird
Thanks for the suggestions... I actually flashed Energy Rom and it loads just fine now.
I am having some very choppy video problems though. Pretty much any video format I play (FLV, AVI, MPEG) the video is very choppy. Even when the video is not stretched and ran at 100%.
I've tried messing with the advanced settings in TCPMP and can't come up with anything.
Any suggestions?

This is just a quick video I put together. The walkthroughs I'm planning are of much better quality and have audio.
I know I run a little fast through it, but it's just something I put together before going to bed.

Video doesn't work properly. I tried playing it on WMP, QuickTime, Winamp and RealPlayer. Only RealPlayer started the vid but caught an error 3 seconds into the video [Bad data in AVI source file]

I used the MS MPEG-4 Video Codec V3. If anyone else has problems finding the codec, I'll try to reencode it to a more popular codec.
actually after trying to download it multiple times, it seems like the problem lies in the downloading itself. for some odd reason i kept getting errors downloading the video. I'll try IE tonight, i've used Firefox and Opera and came up with errors. I don't know if it's gigashare or what, maybe mirror it to mega or rapidshare?
I'll try to re upload it when I get home.
i downloaded coreplayer 1.2.1 and at first it played youtube flawlessly but yesterday I had to switch from qtv to GDI to get them to play back at a good framerate. Also, it also takes a long time to buffer even when Im connected thru HSDPA at about 450kbps. After clicking on the youtube vid I want, some videos dont even begin to play and tthe ones that do take forever to even switch into the player window.
Also, even if i enable rtp and rstp, youtube vids from Opera or IE dont open in CorePlayer. I noticed that tcpmp flv pack wont open youtube vids for me either from the browser. I dont know why.
I am running Duttys WM6.1 btw. Any ideas?
RTSP is broken in Coreplayer from my experience... re-enable QTV and select H264 as the Youtube video type and it works perfectly.
I went back to QTV and it started working fine again, but then after a while it started slowing down again so I had to go to GDI again.
Hi ive been searching for coreplayer for a long time.. may i know the link where u downloaded it? Thanks

You can buy it from CorePlayer's site.
Hey I've recently started getting error messages when I try to play youtube clips from the built-in player. I get an error message saying that the file type is unrecognized and it started happening when I started to really enjoy this function. Im running stock 6.1 ATT rom and have no other programs open while using core player. any help would be appreciated.
p.s
Im not a complete noob, I've already tried a soft reset and looking through the pefences to see if anything had changed.
same here. and it was working just fine a few days ago...
I have been using it, but since yesterday I have the same problem.
To overcome it; open m.youtube.com on your IE, search for the video you want to watch, double click it from there and it opens & plays correctly with the coreplayer!
Explanation, no idea!
Same problem here, but only when I select the H264 or FLV file formats for Youtube. When I use the RTSP format it works fine, but the quality is total crap. Any ideas??? I would like to use the FLV format because it looks much better.
Has Youtube changed its file or streaming formats???
Ahhh, thanks. When I set it to RTSP it works.
Bump for anyone else who knows why I cannot play FLV or H264 youtube videos in coreplayer since the last week or so...
Bump...anyone know? want to use this program to play FLV videos
YouTube works fine in Opera and the Streaming Manager app but in Coreplayer Mobile it just constantly brings up the loading symbol when selecting a video.
Anyone else have this or know a fix? I am on Jacks 1.3 Lite ROM with the YouTube registry fix installed.
That's strange. Youtube works for me in Coreplayer. I am also using Jack's Lite Rom 1.03. I did not try if it works in Opera though.
You got to activate networkaccess in corplayersettings for youtube

It is ticked already
I can't get Youtube to work in Streaming Media
Have you tried ticking flv box in the file extensions/
I got an email from CorePlayer makers saying there is a bug and they are fixing it in the next release
I have come across a problem with Coreplayer and its YouTube, so I have decided to use this thread instead of starting my own using the same title.
Coreplayer plays YouTube movies. No problem with that, even more it plays them in excelent quality (setting h264 medium quality, flv high bandwidth). But for some reason it cannot stop them. When the video is over the loading sign (rotating circle) appears and the screen freezes. After a couple of seconds I hear audio as if the video started to play all over again, but the screen is still frozen on that last frame. When I press any button the audio stops as well and that is that. There is no other solution than removing the battery, which annoys me greatly.
Does any of you have the same problem and have you been able to solve it? Coreplayer plays youtube with the highest quality by farand would really like to see it work properly.
Anybody else with this wierd Youtube problem?
Except that it freezes my phone like, every 5 minutes, it works fine i guess.
Too bad I have to reset my phone every time, because if i wouldnt had to, it would be a good piece of software.
Using Coreplayer 1.3 btw.
Well I am pretty disapointed as well. The video playback of original divx files is jerky and if I have to encode I might as well encode to a file media panel recognises. And now the youtube thing. There are still podcasts, I hope I will not come across a problem there.
huh?
i dont get it... my coreplayer plays youtube great, and divx great... i did have the youtube option dissapear mysteriously, but i re-enabled it in the network setting and its worked great ever since...
ive watched 2 movies in divx - one was a fast paced action movie and it played absolutely perfectly the whole time. maybe you need to have certain settings ticked, or maybe the fact that ive used the various tweaks in this forum to speed up my sd card, and to optimize my cache settings and such is helping...
more info may help resolve this...unfortunately i dont know much technical jargon.. i fiddle until things work.
I got my core working again with an update, but the standalone youtube player and panel is MUCH easier and better to use.
Hi, i work with an HTC Touch Pro 2 and on it with the newest CorePlayer. But i can not watch any Youtube Videos. I can search, and browse the different categories. But when i want to start a video the player gets back to the starting screen.
The "normal" video playback works fine.
Why? Anybody else with this problem?
PS: I have activated the network settings.
Youtube has made a change to how their protocol works. CoreCodec knows about the isue and they said they have alreay fixed it on an internal build. Sadly we will probably have to wait a very long time for the fix to be released.
here, some videos work, some others not, like the 70% of them, just try to open but stop downloading without image
Anybody else getting this problem again?Youtube videos stopped playing for me since tuesday,i'm running coreplayer 1.3.6 windows mobile.
Yes same her, my CorePlayer 1.3.6 stopped playing Youtube end of July.
Is there any update out there?
Yep, doesn't work...lame
Hi, I have a new ATT Tilt, and it can't play youtube videos. I tried going to m.youtube.com using IE and HTC Streaming Media, and it times out before the video even starts. I tried again in Opera, no success
When I open TCPMP, it crashes and gives me a crash.txt error. At first I thought it was because I used the smartphone version instead of the pocketpc version, but when I switched versions just to see if this was right, it still did not work and just gave me the crash.txt error when I opened TCPMP. When I finally found a version of TCPMP that did work fine and did not crash, flashvideobundle and flvcodecs did not even open the video.
When I used flashvideobundle with TCPMP, as according to wiki, it did not work, and TCPMP crashed and flashvideobundle did not open videos. For TCPMP, I tried using it in Opera, IE, and I went to m.youtube.com and youtube.com to try to get it to work.
I have the latest ATT Rom and Radio, and except for a soft and hard reset done after buying it, it has not been changed.
Can you guys please help? I've tried everything, and spent about four hours last night trying to get it to work, the closest thing that has worked is HTC Streaming Video, which actually opens the video but times out before playing it.
TCPMP
Hello mazdabish,
Are you using wm 6.1? Ff so, TCPMP will crash, and you need the recompiled improved version, here. Otherwise, try skyfire for youtube. That should work unless I'm missing something,
Dave
Have you tried Kinoma freeplayer?
I had a similar problem but got it sorted out from this site, download the .cab file from the link, hope all goes well.
http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-tag-youtube.html
Try this app, it's called Youtube play, works great on my Tilt(link below).
There is also Core player that has a button for youtube built in, but it costs around $29.00
Get youtube play here
http://www.databasedevelopments.com/downloads/youtubeplay.cab
Try Kinoma free play. It takes a lil bit to set up initially...but once your through that it works like a breeze. It has a built in youtube search feature and you can login to your youtube account and browse, search and play vidoes all from within the player. Video quality and buffer underrun is also pretty decent.
Sorry guys for not giving this thread a resolution, but,
I found it easier to just flash my Tilt to a ROM that already has Youtube built it, took me about a day, but it worked painlessly and was a breeze.
Thanks for the help though.
