I was thinking of using my kaiser to connect my pc to a wireless network,
I have a wireless router in my house but i dont have a wire that goes to my room, so i want to connect my Kaiser via usb to the computer and the Kaiser to the wireles router via WIFI so i can use the internet in my room in my computer.
Is it Possible?
I have a wireless modem option on my dutty 6 hybrid rom. I would think that that option could be tweeked to add an option to use wifi instead of cellular and then you would be able to recieve over b.tooth and wouldnt need a cable either. I would donate and then ask one of the devlopers very nicely if they knew of or could write a tweek for me. But thats just what my plan of attack wood be
It is possible and there is a reg hack that allows wifi sharing over ICS - but sticking a wifi usb dongle in the pc would be a lot easier.
As a second thought, it dawned on me that i hacked a linksys wrt54gs and changed the flash/os to dd-wrt`s 3rd party software
http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Wireless_Bridge
By switching to dd-wrt i then had an option to make the AP a wireless bridge and thats how i connect my slingbox to my network. I would recommend that anyone with a linksys router re-flash to this 3rd party software which enables TONS of features to this device. Hope this helps. PEACE!!
These might help you.

the jongma thing works perfectly with dutty's rom.
im amazed, my computer is connected to the internet via wifi signal that my phone is broadcasting. thats incredible.
on 3g its fffffffffffast!
Is there any way to use wifi instead of 3G etc? I have a Wii here at school with wireless. It wont connect to the schools wireless network because of the routers used. Im thinking if I could use the Kaiser to brodcast wifi and connect the Wii that way then maybe it would work? Any thoughts?
I'd like to know if I can connect my Xperia X1 to my Play Station Portable (not sure what kind of PSP, but it's the original PSP that first came to production). I'd like to be able to use my PSP's larger screen to surf the internet if it's possible.
Find Wi-Fi router application which turns X1 to Wifi hotspot that any wifi enabled device can connect.
Just here is little problem: First PSP supports only b wireless, not g. Im not sure what type of signal is Wi-Fi router broadcasting.

Similar thing happened to a friend's laptop, headed off to the local large Tescos and picked up a Zoom USB adaptor.
Was only around £15
Plenty of range and 54Mbps connections (although speed test sites over wifi will show less than directly plugged into the router)
Wireless G too so would be compatible with your router.
Those with N will of course work, but you won't get the advantage of N's speed as your router doesn't do N.
Cool thanks mate
I have a Zoom 4506 travel router that I have been using with a Verizon USB modem.
With the lack of wireless tether, I am wondering if it is possable for me to use PDAnet with my Bionic to share the data conncetion with my PC and Galaxy Tab?
In theory I should be able to do this and my data usage would be no more detectable than tethering with a usb cable. But I have not been able to get the Zoom to pick up the data signal from the Bionic.
Any suggestions wold be helpful.
Thanks
This is the official answer I got from Zoom:
"The PDAnet is not compatible with this router. The only way is by using the phones built in hotspot or tethering feature. However, for this you must subscribe to the tethering or hotspot plan with the carrier. But using it with PDAnet it will not work. Sorry.
regards,"
I find this difficult to belive, anyone know a work around?
Zoom 4506 tethering
Zoom now has an Android tethering app for use with their 4506 and 4501 routers. I received a Beta version last week, but it works very well for me. The routers tether through a mini USB port to an Android phone. The app and router combo gives great WiFi range, support for multiple clients, good security. The router even charges my phone while it is tethered if the router is being powered by an AC outlet, but not when the router is being powered by its rechargeable battery.
