Gps Device Not Working After Flashing

i flashed my HTC TRINITY P3600 with trinity update guide (TRIN_RADIO_1.38.00.11_Only_SSPL or 1.40 probably) and installed windows mobile 6.0 on my device. When i installed tomtom 6.03, it says no GPS device!.
i installed it with trinity info guide and used this radio version 1.46.00.11. but my device information show radio version to be 1.16.00.00 and ROM version 2.0.8.2. should i flash it with another radion 1.46.00.11 GPS available on this forum? Pl help.

what version of hard-spl are you using? if you tried to flash with 1.30, it might not work as some people are having issues now with flashing radios using that hard-spl... try 1.20.olipro
really your thread title isn't very accurate.. it's not your gps device not working, it's that you need a new radio..
also, it's helpful if you have an unsuccessful flash while following the guides, that you post within the guide thread so i can keep track of it

did you config tomtom correctly?did you try info gps?

Hello buddy, seems we have same issue! if you got Hard spl 1.2 could you post a link?

the link for this thread is also on the site... i hope this helps you solve the problem, and this forum is for ppl to help one another out, but double posting and posting all over the place makes it very much harder for people to track down a solution to their problem, and we'll be forever posting fixes to the same issue

hi buddy! I got it solved!!! Yes it's the problem of the radio, and seems that if your hard SPL version is 1.30, you are not able to flash the radio. everytime it seemed works but after flash the radio just remain the same.

there is a radio ROM with hard SPL which flashs the hard SPL first then the radio. I succesfully found the device and got GPS working yesterday!

Upgrading to Windows Mobile 6.1

Can anyone clairify the upgrading process from Mobile 6.0 to 6.1. I have searched WIKI and this forum for information with no success. I attemped to install from Microsoft's site, but the installer stated that i have a "more recent version" than 6.1.
Currently, I am running Schap's 4.30 Rom and my Mobile version reads 6.0. Am i missing something?

how did you even get schap's rom running and not figure out how get a 6.1 rom on your device?

I guess i should rephrase my question. Has anyone recevied an error message while upgrading from Mobile 6.0 to 6.1?

Are you referring to Windows Mobil 6.1 or Office Mobil 6.1? Because my Kaiser came with Office Mobil 6.1.

Well because Schap's 4.30 Rom is a 6.0 rom.
Try Alex 6.1 Beta 2. Its a good release. Theres more from great cooks in the forum.

i know its a 6.0 rom, i'm just wondering how did he managed to flash a custom 6.0 rom but not know how to flash a 6.1 rom......

its the same procedure you know.......u just need to use a 6.1 rom. and what was it that u were trying to dl from the microsoft website?

This is how i understand the situation (please correct if im wrong)
1. Installing WM6.1 is not like installing a simple cab file. it is Rom based. hense it has to replace your existing rom.
2. Officially the 6.1 will be out end of this month
3. The 6.1 Roms that are floating around here are due to an unofficial leak and cooks cooked them nicely

I believe i am confused. I thought the upgrade process for Windows Mobile 6.0 to 6.1 was to go this website http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/devicecenter.mspx . In fact, this website was an upgrade for Windows OFFICE mobile 6.0 to 6.1.
Ultimately, I would like to upgrade to Dutty's 6.1 rom and felt I needed to upgrade before i could do this. Based the recent post, WM 6.1 is embedded into the ROM rom and would be "upgraded" during the flash process. Am i correct?
Sorry for the confusion, I troll here as often as i can and appreciate the community support. I came from the Treo 700wx and havent regretted it.

If you want to upgrade to WM6.1, you just need to flash with a WM6.1 ROM. Dutty's 6.1, Alex's 6.1 Beta, Sleuth's......there are a whole bundle out there. Essentially, if you have already been flashing ROMs previously, you don't need to do any more than choose your WM6.1 based ROM and flash it to your device.

Hi I have an HTC S620 before it was a s621 the ones from Rogers.
The phone is unlocked and now it mounts
Windows Mobile 6 Standard CE OS 5.2.1238 (Build 17745.0.2.3)
ROM version: 1.27.405.1
Radio Version: 4.1.13.44_02.94.90
Looking in the forums I found out about a new version RUU_Excalibur_HTC_WWE_Brightpoint_US_1.33.422.1_4.1.13.51_03.07.90_Ship.exe
1)I would like to know if this version is NOBRAND?
2)I would like to know if it's the latest version of WM6?
3)Is it a beta ROM?
4)Is it compatible for my S620?
5)Will there be (adobe reader LE, clearvue documents - presentation - worksheet) they are under the folder office?
I read in some forums that this ROM does not have office, so I was wondering what is office, is it the files under the folder office or it's a real office word ecc. that is not present in mine either.
Last question, in forums I found out of a new update WM6 the WM6.1, but I don't understand if its standard or professional WM. Is there anything official, I don't understand, could you please indicate the latest WM for my HTC S620.

My Qeustion is,

2. Can I have arabic support for this PPC.

upgrading Wizard G3 from WM5 to WM6

i have T-Mobile MDA G3 with me and is unlocked, i can use sim of any cellular company on my cell and working fine. Its SPL/IPL is 1.08 can anybody please suggest me the link to download WM6 or WM6.1 full featured and free whichever is good for my wizard moreover any further steps in order to be on a safer side while updating my wizard. Looking forward for your response.

If you are looking for wm6 Rom,then there's no official wm6 rom update offered by any vendor,but if you want to upgrade to any custom build wm6 rom then check out the below link:-

Like I said earlier,no official wm 6 upgrade is offered,so this rom is also wm5 and not wm 6,if you want to upgrade to wm6,you'll have to upgrade through custom build wm6 roms,present here in this forum.

Yes you would need to either use HSPL or USPL to load a custom winmo 6.5 rom.
As for which is best is a "forbidden" question as everyone has their own preferences and thus this will lead to endless discussions. As for a suggestion just look at the forum and go for the popular choices like Dutty of Miri and give them a try to see which would suit you the best.

You will need either USPL or HSPL to flash cooked rom. Advice on HSPL & USPL as well as a guide to flashing can be found here.
As for which is best, wmh already covered that in previous post!

Now it is stock win 6.1 professional

ROM version 1.14.401.3 (22273) WWE
Radio version : 1.09.25.14
I read almosta all things on how to ...also wiki directions but i am little confused about something(there is so many technical terms)
I want to have ( for now only) stock win 6.5.3 and ...
So if there is some good souls to ansver few of my questions:
1. What is first step? Flash HSPL or upgrade radio or ROM ?
2. If first step is HSPL then what version of HSPL i use for my ROM/RADIO?
3.is there any need to change radio?
4.when i put HSPL on my phone,then i can choose Stock ROM/COOCKED ROM?
5.i have more questions but it is 1:33 AM here so i need to get into bed....
