I've got permission from JesterDroid.
He gives this theme the kick from JesterBlur
He had much work to get something on this theme workin.

Re-Colouring your Buttons was easier, than recolouring the statusbar icons.
I did some, but I can't find them very good.
I think, I must practise a bit... It's some difficult work.

I couldn't resist working on it right now butwhat do you mean with the background of the icons? you mean what lights up when you touch it?
No, with icons I only mean the icons in the statusbar.
The original Icons have a black background.
If it is possible to make this background transparent, you have the colour of this statusbar ever and must not change it with every statusbar colour!
I think, it's easier to do that if it's possible.
(I hope you understand my "kauderwelsch...")
It takes a while to find and change all the icons for the statusbar, I think I got them all on my green theme, but still some to do for CDMA users..
I was planning on making the backgrounds transparent too, it would definitely make colour changes much easier.

this guy never asked me for permission to use my home dock on his theme. all he did was color it. my watermark is still there. how unoriginal. i spent hours upon hours in GIMP making those buttons and aligning the button indicators, for him to have a free ride? this is not right! not even a mention. now.. if he had sent me a PM asking for permission, i would not have been upset and even probably allowed him permission. i have granted 2 others permission for personal use happily.

thank you. im not here to yell at others, in fact i rarely say anything. i just hope in the future if someone "including yourself" want to use my work, or any other developers work, at least have the courtesy of contacting them and once given the permission, please mention their names in your post. i speak on behalf of everyone in the android community when i say.. ALOT of developers work very hard to keep this android community going and ALOT of developers try to come up with very "Original" work that distinguishes them from other developers. that is what we are! artists in our own way! i hope you understand

Hey I'm armoredraven. I've been a G1 owner for almost a year now and have been part of the XDA scene for some time, so I've gained some experience with this. I have modified a few themes for myself before, but haven't decided to create and release my own until now.
I've started creating my first theme, |Continuum, and need some input before any release. I would appreciate it if you guys could go over the screenshots and give me some ideas or recommendations on how to fix or theme or make it better.
I'm currently using Cyanogen 4.2.9.1, but will be updating soon. I'll probably update this theme for CyanogenMod roms, but if someone wants to port it elsewhere, they can contact me later...
I could actually release a beta version, but I haven't really bug checked anything (although I haven't gotten a single force closure yet). Maybe I'll get two or three beta testers, so if you would like to do this, either post or PM me.
And please, don't steal my images without asking... Unlike a few other themes out there, I actually drew all of my files out in photoshop rather than just copying and editing preexisting ones. I'd gladly share, just ask first

WOW. I would say more, but my jaw is stuck on the floor. It looks absolutely amazing and from your todo list I can't see anything else that needs to be said. The only thing that I see from the screen is maybe changing the carrier name to a more visible color, but that is all. Your search widget looks stunning.

I think it's part of the theme, but your app drawer doesnt have titles for your apps... must for me sorry man... it would be fine for most apps, but there are a few that have random pics for icons, and i have to have the title to know what it is... but so far the BEST theme ive seen on here

its an option with the advanced launcher to remove the titles on the homescreen and another option to remove them in the app drawer. its up to the user whether or not it is done.

Yeah. I actually changed back now, because I was having trouble finding all my apps
Anywho... I made a couple changes:
-Fixed network provider text color
-Finished all framework-res status icons (I hand drew each in Photoshop to be all white)
-Added another outer circle to the analog clock opposite the minute hand one (solely for artistic effect)
-Shifted the "google" text in the search widget about 4 pixels to the right

this theme is awweessommeee, i hope it stays with Advanced Launcher though, thats definitely a must. im not to fond of the actual Home on the launcher, but i'll be able to make do because everything else looking amazing. great work on this. cant wait till its done.

Why dont you just download a Clean Template for Metamorph, and make it that way....
Anyway, this theme looks amazing, really sofisticated/modern, nice...

If you replace the normal launcher with the advanced launcher instead of including both you can use bettercut with it . If you include both then bettercut wont work with advanced launcher that's why I substitute it in all my themes... I'm an icon freak lol.

also planning on fixing the sizes yeah i understand some are in 48x48 when they should be in 72x72, its my first icon pack so there was bound to be mistakes. i am

this icon pack is going to be bigger than i thought, i hate that i want to offer people multiple options haha

thanks for the feedback, if there is any apps you would like then put them down and ill post them and include them in my next pack.
it isn't very difficult, takes a lot of time. so far this next blue icon pack has 849 icons and counting, i am not even finished haha.
since i am rooted i have taken all my apks. copied them and zipped them, then put them on my desktop and changed all the .apk to .zip then went into GIMP and changed the colors on them. My first release just included the icons i thought looked good but since i want to give everyone a fair amount of options i have even gone into 20+ different varieties of one app (like settings, contacts, calendar, etc.)

These are great. I have the entire collection of black one's but they are sketchy on a dark layout. I was gonna ask you for one with an orange second hand but then I saw where you were from...
How bout a black and gold one? Or, maybe just throw the hawkeye logo in the middle and make an Iowa clock. (Hope that cornfield you are in isn't near Ames)
If its too much or just not graphically possible, just the orange one would be greatly appreciated.

You didn't say what color second hand you wanted so I just assumed green lol if you want something different just let me know. But here is ISU (the best and what I am rocking) and the Celtics. I have a Hawkeyes one, but don't have a good color for the second hand to match at this point.

LOL!! Since you are making me a clock, I won't hold that against you. No rush as far as the second hand... when you find the right color, just let me know. I hope I didn't open pandora's box of custom clock requests for you. I got to thinking about it and as long as this doesn't involve tweaking xml files, I could probably do this or help. I know how to decompile apk's, mod drawable png's, and recompile. I haven't ever peeked insided this bad boy. If it is more technical than that, I'm out!!

Oh no don't worry about that at all, I really enjoy making them actually, it's pretty fun. But if you want to give it a try be my guest, I just use 7zip to open them up on my computer and replace whatever .png files I want to change (those changes are done with photoshop so you'd need to have that), then you need to delete the "META-INF" file before resigning it, and then I resign it on my phone using a free application called Signapktic (using the Platform key). If you want to know any more just let me know.

These are awesome! Thank you so much!! Yeah, I might give it a whirl. I've just recently started modding wallpapers w/ gimp, but certainly that would work for replacing a few png files. 7zip, check. I've also used apk manager to open them up and then re sign them. That's how I did the widget locker mods when the themes first came out before the themed version. Just one more thing to add to my to do list... Damn this phone!

I'm a huge tron fan, and no one had a tron-like theme (or i was too lazy to search), so i made one myself. errr made a compilation of different themes and then recoloured it.
it's based off of the Sculpted theme, so all credits to -shift- for the base of my theme. and if shift wants me to take this down i understand

please be nice in the comments, as its my first theme, and i'm teaching myself how to do so.
as well please don't expect frequent updates, i'm engineering university student... aka i'm busy pretty much all the time.

i need some help with doing some coding and where to put it, so if you're willing to help just shoutout in the comments. if you have any additions you'd like, i'll try and add it when i have time... (if i have time).
i've also attached the zip with the font i used to make my theme, which i just googled, so its freeware. i believe its called tr2n which i just grabbed off dafont.com. the font i just pushed to /system/fonts/Clockopia.ttf to make it my clock, and if you install the font on your computer, you should be able to make widgets like mine. i just used desktop visualizer to do that in ADW.

you should add some blue highlights in the theme, like on the notification drop down and menu bar ect. but none the less, its still looks nice

i changed the dropdown icons, trying to add some more deeper oranges to make it like the orange in the actual movie, just don't have the time. flooded with midterms and exams. but i will definitely update when i can, i want to make the pulldown bar transparent, if someone wants to give me some pointers on that. it would be greatly appreciated!

This is easily the single hottest theme aside from the current ICS theme. I LOVE all things tron and this is going on my phone today to test. keep up the work and if you need any help graphically, lemme know. ive done a wee bit of themeing and i finally have some time to continue themeing.

Will be waiting for your next releases! Although I don't know how to change the font.. Until now I only changed it with flashable .zips through OpenRecovery..
I am currently looking for a nice Tron HD Wallpaper for my Milestone.

i think you meant to say a couple hours i will do it when i get the time, but right now i'm in the middle of exams so not really a great time to theme.

Thanks a lot for your huge work. I think, its the most accurate and bugless theme I've ever used. I've found some small "bugs" and if you have time, please try to fix them.
1. Standart "Search" widget is stretched
2. In some places I've found letterings on buttons in grey instead of white. It looks unreadable.
3. Quick Pic App background is very acid)))
4. Can you make more icons for apps?

All the bugs have been fixed and will be posted in a day or two.

Fantastic work mate, easily one of the best themes I've seen for MIUI v4 I'm glad to see you've not just gone for the "Gingerbread Green" too, it really does look excellent!

like someone suggested, try different color themes. you'd be surprised of the weird colors people like. besides loyal miui fans as myself, others are all about the whole jellybean hype and the next best thing out there. its just a phase but dont give up on the ones that do use miui roms. This place has changed alot since the t-mobile G1 days. people arent so appreciative of free hard work anymore, selfish pricks =__= keep up the hard work anyway
