With WM6.5, I see a new "Inbox" item at the top of the popup (right context button) menu while viewing email message bodies.
At a guess, I'd suppose this allows a quick and easy way to either move the current message to the Inbox (doesn't make a lot of sense, since the "Inbox" pop-up menu item appears on message bodies being viewed within the Inbox itself), or to simply jump to the Inbox... neither of which seems like a good use of screen real estate (not to mention that I keep clicking this by accident, expecting good old Delete to be in that position...).
Anyone know...
1. What this "Inbox" item at the top of the email message body context pop-up menu actually does? And...
2. How to remove this "Inbox" item from that pop-up menu?
Thanks,
Jay

is there a way for me to erase all sms( sent or received) at once instead of trying to do so 1 by 1 ? if there is a option to select all and then delete would be great but i have not found a way to do that...... thanks
i dont have my phone in front of me, but i do believe if you are looking at the all folders screen, the one that shows inbox/outbox/sent/etc. you can go to options and somewhere in there, maybe in tools or something you should be able to delete all messages. sorry i cant be more descriptive, but its there, just look a bit.
One way to do it - use your stylus and drag down, starting with the first msg you want to delete. It will start highlighting all the messages as you drag downwards. Once you have all the messages highlighted, tap and hold and a context sensitive menu will appear, allowing you to delete all of those highlighted messages.
Do a search for InboxExtender, it's a simple cab that adds a "delete all" and "mark all as read" option.
Use the on screen keyboard and ctrl A to select all then hit delete
Scroll selecting them all and hit delete
Menu / tools / clear sms/mms but this takes out even stored messages not just in box and sent
one small question i seem to have managed to turn mine upside down, by default new messages appeared at the top of the list now they seem to appear at the bottom of current messages, anyone know how to reverse it again ?

Click to collapse
At the top, you should have Inbox and Received with down arrows next to them. Click on Received and you should get a dropdown menu. If you click the same menu item that is selected, it does a reverse sort.

found this here on the forums. It adds a few extra menus...
When you are in the messages screen, select Menu / Tools / Clear Messages. It will erase all inbox and sent messages.
It never did until yesterday. Unless i clicked the "show keypad" button. Now on entering any message program and Internet explorer etc it pops up !
thanks
I always thought the default settings for the keypad was that when you opened a page, if the 'default' place for the cursor was in any sort of 'text input' box (web browser URL bar, messaging login or text box etc...) then the keyboard would pop-up automatically, as soon as you clicked outside of the text box the keyboard disappeared?.
Hi,
Brand new (1 week) to the Diamond and HTC in general and have the folowng question that I cannot fnd an answer to and no response from HTC via their support area!
If I reply to an SMS how to I add additional recipients?
Regards and thanks

When you have selected REPLY you will see the blank text message with To at the top. Select the To box (which will have the contact you are replying to's details in it) and then select MENU (bottom right of the screen) and then the ADD RECIPIENT is available. You can then select additional contacts from the list.
Other way (which I find quicker)
Select the To field in the sms / mms your creating and then type the persons name, the contact should appear above the keyboard and you can then select them.
That should do it.

Looks like the easiest way is from the TF3D screen, don't tap the body of the text (which will bring up the conversation), but press menu (bottom right) then reply. This brings up the old style single message screen, and you can then click in the "to" box and add extra recipients to your heart's content.
Your next question will probably be (when you get there), how do you forward an SMS? For this, you need to bring up the full conversation, then use the hard up/down buttons to select the single message you want to forward, and then use the menu to forward. The option to forward is not enabled till you select an entire sms via the up/down keys.
In case you hadn't worked it out, when reading SMS conversations, you can change the font size using the touchy-feely wheel (around the outside of the circular button at the bottom)
Hope you enjoy the device - I really reocmmend an hour or two trawling the forums, particularly the "Diamond Tweaks List", to maximise your enjoyment.
tomchap/raveydavey,
Many thanks for the replies. I can see it's going to take a while to find all the subtleties of this thing. Overall though I'm very impressed - how did they fit all this capability into such a small form factor?!
Raveydavey - thrust me I've spent far too long looking through the forums and have implemented some of the tweaks e.g. 3DTFlo cache, wake on SMS etc.

Hi,
When I get a text message, the notification bubble shows two options:
Reply (On Left Softkey)
Options (On Right Softkey)
Is there any way to modify the Left Softkey from 'Reply' to 'Read', so that it opens the message for viewing?
I remember having this option some time, but now I only get Reply on left softkey. When there are more than one messages, it shows 'Read', which is understood. I want this enabled for a single message as well.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.
i think you only get the option "read" when you cant see the whole message in the bubble.
in fact, that sounds logical to me
I often send pictures to my friends; especially one person. Is there an app or patch to the Sprint picture viewer (or any viewer) that would add "Send this to Joe" to "Send this to a contact" and then automagically do it without all the normal clicking and searching and stuff?
Thanks
Yeah, in Manilla (touch flo 3d interface) go to pictures, hit the desired one, when it's full screen tap the screen, a context menu will appear, hit the envelope icon (3rd from left to right), choose your method of delivery. If you have any problems, post back.
This is for the HTC Album application
Yes, thank you, thats what I've been doing but there's still a lot of steps. After ten or twenty pics it gets aggravating. I meant being in album or camera, tapping or holding down the stylus and a "Quick Send" menu pops up.

Tap one and it's on it's way.
You could also install file explorer extension, check "preview image" and you'll see thumbnail of the file in file explorer, then in the context menu click send. Again brings sms/email and other options
Sorry I can't think of anything else
Thanks. It was just an idea. Maybe I'd better learn how to program.
