I started working on a gold version of the sense to learn how to make themes, hopefully I'll do something a little more advanced once I get a good bearing on where everything is located and limitations. So far I've only ported the common images and started on the calendar. I'll be working down the line on the widgets that I use but can do others if there is enough demand once I finish the ones I want. The apk's in this theme are ruskiyab's optimized packages. located at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=588597

As with all update files, perform a nandroid backup before installing this.
really nice start
great work needs more gold plugins, right?
Congratulations!
Quite good job!
Some widgets are not so easy to give it another colour, I know!

Version 1.4
- Added a fancy pulldown bar for notifications
- Attempted to create a gold status bar with success, but then saw there was 89 icons that were going to be difficult to edit so I scrapped it. Maybe when I'm really really really bored I'll get back to this.
Version 1.6 (1.5 was some testing)
- Added gold status bar and transparent black/grey icons for it (still trying to locate the actual sync icon used)
battery indicator
Good work, where can I get the battery indicator is an widgets.
Would you please say how.

Not good for hero gsm?
You're welcome to try it for the GSM, but I dont think the images are in the same location. Do a backup before hand. Let me know. If not once I complete I can try and port it to the gsm hero.
Je l'ai essayé sur mon HTC et Hero n'a pas fonctionné.
Toute solution?
Is your Hero GSM? Then it don't work, it's for CDMA.

My wife <3's you.
might root the gfs G1 just for this theme, looks good
Any reports of the download titles being covered by the download?
For example...downloading apps from market, when I pull down the bar, i cant read the title of the download, because the progress bar is over it.
Thanks!
Noone is having this problem? I reflashed it, and still having the same problem. Any help would be appreciated
Haven't tried it, and wont have an opportunity to do so until Jan 7 (at the earliest), I'm afraid...

Absolutely. But I've given myself an involuntary Christmas vacation from theme dfevelopment so it'll be for whatever CM version is current in about a week or 2.

I was searching all around the forums for a very simple transparent status bar. Decided to make one instead.
I'm new to all this hacking (just changed over from an iPhone 3GS) and right now a 2.1 mod and Metamorph are satisfying my needs.
Tested on 2.0, 2.0.1 & 2.1
Attached is my Metamorph file:
Enjoy!

Man thank you for making this. I asked about this in the Q and A section if maybe someone could make or if it was possible to have a fullscreen homescreen without that actual bar. But, transparent is very nice as well. Good work!
might want to specify which version of which rom this is for.

I reupped the .zip.
I might have accidentally upped a bad one.
This one works on my phone. I literally just applied it.
wheres the new file bro?
Its on the first page
I just brought down the old file and upped the new one. Its just the .ZIP thats attached.
A link to my site which is so much easier to Navigate on your phone is this:
http://androidthemes.webnode.com/
Just click Direct download To Phone and its so easy
Well love the idea, concept, and look. Unfortunately it looks like it only works for the Droid because my 2.1 Rom OpenEclair v1.1 on the T-Mobile G1 (HTC Dream) isnt metamorphing it.
id like to see this ported to a 1.6 rom, looks nice.
Did you use colorchange.jar? Can you give a quicky tutorial on how you changed it? I'd like to change mine but I am on 1.6
Main question. Is it fake transparency or real, transparent statusbar.
Thanks for your shared...
Looks good on CM5.0.5. but it lacks any sort of icons that are somewhat important to me
Hi,
I'm interested in getting my HTC Hero to look like an iPhone.
If it helps, you can pretend I'm doing this out of irony.
Here's what I have so far...
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
(rom is superhero 1.0.1, running aHome, custom theme and bettercut)
And here's what I need to do:
Change the order of the icons in the status bar
Fix all notification icons into the smaller 16pixel size, including clock font
Edit the dialer buttons to look more like iPhone's
Edit the Calendar and Calculator app
Calendar Widget that looks just like the calendar icon, but changes the date
Dock without using aHome
Anyone know how to change the order of the icons, or have any suggestions (other than "GIVE UP NOW" )?
Nice1 Looking Good so far
Thanks MacaronyMax! I haven't had a chance to work on it much this week because of coursework, but I'll be updating it again soon I hope.
This is looking really good, Imagine running this on an iPhone that is running android... (whoah, head f**k!)
Shame it needs aHome, but keep up the good work
Oh man, I need to get ahold of an iPhone. That must be done. XD
Speaking of which. I'll hopefully be updating this either tonight or tomorrow with a useable downloadable version of the theme which will can used for the statusbar icons and maybe something even bigger like the Dialer!
Updates are going to be kind of staggered after that, though, as I don't have an iPhone of my own and clear reference pics are hard to come by.
Answer to 2.....edit framework-res.apk be as creative as u like! Should be able to resize icons in there,as for the icons order...its probably in the same file,just as xml
Cheers Bonesy I'll look into it!
No worries I would look but I can't read xml
I have ahome but i don't know wich theme are you using, because there are a lot of iphone themes in the market.
Thanks ,
Andre
When Will you be considering releasing this because it does look gr8
Alright so I've been a fan of the BUUF icon set for a while now and there haven't been any theme updates for the new CM so i threw this little MM together its not anywhere near as complete as the original BUUF theme but i threw most of the little icons and framework things from the BUUF theme by DeaDnuLL I also used a little bit from Dr. Cloverdales Magic Elixer
I was using SuperBad 1.7 while making this so thats what i think it will look best over but it should work on any CM
BIG SHOUT OUT TO mattahan FOR HIS AMAZING ARTWORK
and ill be working to BUUF it up a notch.

Boot Screen
Key board
anything else people say
And check out mattahan's gallery http://mattahan.deviantart.com/gallery/?59931#_featured some really dope stuff and a good place to get wallpapers
Screenshots and Stuff
save one real quick
there seems to be something wrong. Plus the file looks very small.
umm the file is small because just the basics have been themed so far
and what do you mean somethings wrong

I would try applying it with metamorph, after all, that's what it is made for.
Got it to work. Thanks. Can't wait till more things to be added.
Sent from my HTC Magic using XDA App
The link isn't working. Can anyone send me this file please?
i just downloaded it from the lnk and it worked for me....try again?
looks good but...
Besides what the ADW Launcher BuuF Theme adds, what else does THIS thing add...?
* The USB Connected icon
* The battery (without percantage) icon
* Anything else?
Please don't take offence
I'm just trying to figure out if this is still worth the flashing (=
Hi guys, I am searching for a custom gingerbread battery percentage icon set. Maybe someone knows if it's available in 1% stages or knows how to create it.

edit: I am using BAMF Battery Mod v5 for now, which looks a little like this.
kackburt, how did you get the Battery mod to install on your HD2? I always get an "installation failed" error. I'm completely new to Android. I'm using the typhoon cyanogen mod. Is that the problem? I know the battery mod wasn't made for the HD2 but I wanted to give it a shot since you got it to work.

It is pretty clear http://uot.dakra.lt/how_to/
to create is easy - assuming you have a rom that displays 100 different battery icons (i believe yours does; most of CM7 roms do not- they change the display every 5%). the images are in the frameworks-res.apk. lots of ways to get it on your phone - metamorph, flash via cwm. tricky part is making the icons; but if you have a source then just rename them.
cheers.
Wow. The great big world of Android. I'm still learning and loving it! Thanks to both of you!
