What you said doesn't even make sense in French.
Try again.
From what I can make out, you want the transparent lock screen from this ROM. I suppose you could download the ROM, open it with WinRAR, and find the htclockscreen.apk under /system/app (I think), extract that, and push it to your phone with adb.
for the lockscreen transparent delete in the rom the file (port) in system/etc/lockscreen/port .. and enjoy excuse me for my english

i am confused. i have transparent lockscreen and do not have deleted (port) in system/etc/lockscreen/port. look at my screenshots to see that i have the transparent and the port folder is not removed in system/etc as well as there are some lockscreen files in the folder.
my question to anyone who knows the answer: if i select an image to save as lockscreen via menu>wallpaper>lockscreen>albums, how do i return to transparent in future?

Ok this is very correct but i was doing some reading ill explain it a little bit better.First off you have to have a rooted rom so you can use the root explorer which is on Market or on other website just have to do some searching and reading to find root explorer app in other ways if you cant by the root explorer on Market.Do exactly what lainlain 32 said system/etc/lockscreen/port delete the port folder in the lockscreen folder reset the phone and bam walla you have a transparent lockscreen but not totally grey bar is still there.Transparent where you can see your homescreen.

what i'm trying to say in post #8 is that i have the transparent lockscreen plus i have the port folder in in the lockscreen folder: system/etc/lockscreen/port.
since png's should be supported couldn't you just set the lockscreen wallpaper to a 100% transparent png image? Just a though. I can't try that idea out until tomorrow.

i think you may be correct. the wallpaper.png in my rom must be a transparent image and as you can see below i do not delete the port folder in system/etc/lockscreen.
it may be that adding the transparent lockscreen is as simple as replacing an existing wallpaper.png with this. then that might mean swapping lockscreens via the system/etc/lockscreen/port file-edit is easy as replacing png images correctly sized and named...if rooted
update: changing lockscreen wallpaper to any png transparency image is simply renaming and correctly sized png image and replacing the wallpaper.png in system/etc/lockscreen/port folder. this is my test wallpaper.
final update:
i've created this lockscreen to use for now. it is similar to the one above except it is an opaque transparency instead of 100% clear like the one above. it has the same opaque percentage as the wallpaper.png two post above.
does anyone know how to make this work on cdma, this method is not doing anything, have replaced the files, deleted the folders...

This will work on sprints hero. I have used .png's for wallpaper on mine.
To clear your current lockscreen delete the 2 files in /data/misc/lockscreen then reboot.
Awesome, it worked. I replaced png in then deleted the ones you said to and it worked perfectly. now is there anyway to make the font of the lockscreen clock transparent? It would be cool just to have it all transparent.
Thanks for the help

So I'm guessing that the answer's probably no, but is there a way to make this work with a non-rooted phone?

try saving the transparent wallpaper.png file to your sd card and see if you can set it as lockscreen wallpaper through menu>wallpaper>lockscreen>select_albums... look for the transparent image and select it. good luck.

Hello everyone, I wanted to know how to retrieve the names of applications, so as to change the icon themes adw launcher
sorry my english
thanks
There is a list here to rename: ADW WIKI
You can also use NinjaMorph to break open the apk to find the activity name or the development.apk tool.
hth
thanks for the reply
perhaps I have not explained well, I want to know how to rename the icons to be included in topics adw.
ho controllato il wiki che mi hai detto,ma li spiega il funzionamento di adw non come creare i temi
I think, it´s not possible...
Nor is it possible?. The ADW issues that are icons have changed.
So you want to know how to add icons for apps into ADW themes, and what to name them? Just trying to see what you want.

Use logcat
Type in command prompt: adb logcat ActivityManager:I *:S

The image name for the icon will be: a_b_c_d.png
Should work
Hi everybody!!
Before I tell you my question I want to say that I'm totally new to Android and ofcourse theming it.
This morning I was trying to modify the GenieWidget.apk to make the background transparant. After reading a few topics I was able to change the background. But now I'm a bit stuck...
My question is, is it possible to change the widgets alignment? The GenieWidget is normally on the left of the screen (the content) and what I want is to center the content of the Weather part of this widget. So the weather has to be on the center of te screen... (the whole widget has to be centered...)
Is that possible? I attached my GenieWidget.apk
Kind regards,
Stylooo
Good question.
(BUMP)
- You could always resize the widget with LauncherPro Plus. But that doesn't really fix the 'problem'.

That won't work like you said. What I need is just a few padding at the left of the widget... And my guess you have to edit a .XML file, but I don't know how to edit them.

Okay but how do you edit the files? The xml files in the apk's are not standard xml files right?
Do a search of these forums for APKManager. It is a really fantastic script/tool that consolidates and utilizes a number of other useful tools created by XDA members.
Specifically, it will decompile the apk you want to modify (GenieWidget) and convert the XMLs into a format you can view and edit as you would any other XML. And, once you are finished your changes it will recompile the apk, converting the xmls back into the otherwise unreadable format, and even sign and install if needed.
It is probably the most useful tool I've yet to come across.

You have to uninstall the one you have on your phone before installing the 'newer version' (Excuse my lolz).
If not you can push it through adb. Works aswell.
is it not possible to install geniewidget with a transparent background on a non-rooted phone??
I can use calwidget with a transparent background, battstatt with a transparent background and tajm with a transparent background.
is there no crisp looking weather widget with options for a transparent background or resizable features???

Uninstalled but doesn't help
Actually is my version the latest?
There's no "newer" version.
People modify widgets to their liking.
You need basic ADB knowledge to replace applications on your phone.
1) Get the Android SDK
2) Install it to C:\ and rename the folder Android
3) ADB-debugging on your phone = YES
4) Start CMD and type cd C:\android\tools
5) Type adb devices (See your device?)
6) Type adb remount (Read/Write privliges)
7) Type adb pull system/app app (Makes a new folder in /tools named app)
8) Put your GenieWidget in the App-folder, overwrite the old one
9) Type adb push app system/app
Done.

Hi,
I have now Zeus 6 flashed and running fine.
1. I would have back the old LG Wallpaper (not animated).
2. I miss the old GPS icon in the notification bar too.
What do I have to download from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21587977&postcount=2
I tried the animated wallpaper pack but that is not what I searched.
Thank you.

Yes, I found out how to switch between the two homescreens.
u can simply extract the wallpaper from the lg home.apk( res> drawable hdpi) and save its to ur sd card....and then came back to ur favourite launcher...
for the icone of gps u have to change the icon of gps in framework-res.apk and systemui.apk

I think it's because you really have to write SystemUI.apk and not just systemui.apk... Dont know why, but sometimes that's already the reason

Hi,
I need another help with making flashable zips.
I read here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=954281
and here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=732957
and at some other places without really understand this.
I now have two changed .apk files and don´t know how to proceed.
You need to make folders first.
Call one "system" inside make a folder called "app" and one called "framework"
Insert SystemUI into the app folder and the framework-res into framework.
Then you need to make an updater-script, or you copy it from another flashable .zip, which also contains systemUI.apk and framework-res.apk.
Then make another folder called META, insides one called "com" inside "google" and "android" inside it. Insert the updater-script and update-binary into it, zip those two folders together in one .zip, sign it, and flash it
Hi everyone,
I would just like to know the location to stock lockscreen wallpaper of ICS ROMs? I tried all kind of .apk's in system folders, I found like 10 wallpapers, but the stock one of this ROM wasn't there...
Any idea to where I can find it?
Thanks.
Ho to System/ Apps/ LgHome.apk
Go extract the APK, go to drawable-res scroll and you find all of them!

Yeah, I also thought it would be there, but it isn't. Just looked for a 3rd time..
That apk has like 12 wallpapers, but the stock one on lockscreen isn't there. The stock of the ROM isn't even visible when you enter the "change wallpaper" thing.. It is just applied as stock....
