Was just looking around and found the wvga port for Touchpro2 of the "Tilewave" from Xperia2.
Do you think it'll be able to get ported to VGA sometime in the near future?
blackstone also got the panel options from x1 but it never went beyond that to other devices then wvga ones
got it working on my x1 but removed it again it don't run too well
and it's not that great imho
imho pointui is a better today screen panel then titlewave

is there way to port Xperia and Omnia interface to our Diamond ? I mean they manage to port TFL3D to their devices but I haven't seen someone or somebody port the X1 or Omnia to be in diamond, can someone who have experiances make a project to port those 2 UI to our lovely diamond it'll be the best thing to happen on our diamond ? PLZ
Sorry for my English
Hi,
for the moment it seems to be hard due to different screen resolution,
already done for htc touch HD, but not for Diamond.
we all hope in a future relese.
ciao
Any luck with the porting yet..... also i have a jasjar as well will the omina interface work on that?
There is now a version for blackstone - maybe someone like to port the grafics to vga? would be grat
Here is how to get the omnia interface. It defaults as qvga, but you can change out the wallpaper for a vga one, just put the vga .jpg in your program files/few widgets folder. This can be made to be your today screen.

If you want xperia type panels try TaskFacade, latest verison is very good and you can adjust the speed of panel switching
only difference is taskfacade is for switching between/closing open programs... you can't launch from it like you can on xperia
Would the Facebook Panel from the Xperia X1 work on the HTC Touch Diamond with the installation of WVGA Fix? Or is there more to it than that?
I think there's more to it. The panels thing (i think) is like their version of TF3D... So it's like I'm trying to install the calendar tab on the Panels of xperia. If I understand correctly...
WVGAFix is ment to make programs for a lower ras not crash on vga and wvga devices
dont work the other way around I believe
otherwise the facebook panel would work ok on blackstone which have the same res
but it does
panels are not normal programs
a rom yet with all the stuff from the HD2 but that works in landscape for the TP2
Seeing that the Leo (AKA HD2) does not have a slide out keyboard... The answer is: No landscape in all screens but photos and music (by way of G-sensor only). The programming is just simply not there for HTC Sense (AKA Manila) 2.5 & 2.6. Once new keyboard devices arrive after Leo, we should see landscape on all screens.
The only way we could see landscape soon in 2.5 is if someone savvy enough and with lots of time, programs landscape screens by hand.
thanks think ill stick with 2.1 then
To be honest, there's really no need for the landscape ones on 2.5
Just my opinion though
Rotastrains, our resident Manilla expert, made an Xperia X1 ROM that had Sense/TF3D 2.5 landscape mode hacked into it, here, but it hasn't been ported to the Rhodium. It would be nice if that happened, but I don't think we'll get landscape for a while.
Guys....i just saw the Xperia running Tilewaves panel...i searched a lot to check if its available for Diamonds but no luck ... is there any way to port it to our Diamond?? cuz it'd be awesome to see it running on the Diamond
panels are not programs they are dll's which the panel launcher can use
without the panel launcher no dice
recall threads about the panel launcher was made to run on blackstone but then it have the same res as x1
other then that you need s/e to give you the source-code of the panel to make it into a normal program good luck with that
It's just my simple question, is there WM6.5.5 ROM with X1 goodies?
Please let me know...
No X2 programs nor HTC at all...
Unfortunately there are none. Part of the issue is that the X1 panel manager and panels only work well with the WM6 style upper and lower offsets due to the difference 6.5.3 has with the bigger buttons and smaller upper taskbar. The cleanest Xperia style ROMS are Gtrabs R3 (most stable), Gtrabs R7, and Jerplea's X2 (most upto date). There could be some improvement in this area if the SE Aspen's software/ROM was circulating here, and a cook picked it up. Unfortunately very few cooks have gone down the keeping true to Xperia-ish roms path.
Yeah ASPEN... I'm planning to replace "my super total + super faulty X2" w/ it. But since I'm in Indonesia right now. I can't buy it, Aspen is not released yet.
