Same as with WM2005. If you search you'll find plenty of discussions that hold the solution: Edit the file yourself. Like this one

That's why I'm telling you NO. None of us would be happy if xda-dev would be closed down by lawyers.

Keep cool, it's not warez!
I just edited my TomTom.exe file with an Hex Editor (thanks to this forum, because I found the solution here)
I was asking because I know that TomTom in general is a software which is not free and even if I edited it myself I don't know if I could post it.
BTW, ather has given the information where the solution is, so no need to post it...
guys and girls, don't fighting about piracy, just think by yourself. If it is not suitable in here just do it out of there or hide from public (as personal). Otherwise the moderator will get in trouble

Tom tom Navigator 6.030

Tom Tom does not support Diamond. Navigator 6.030 does not work properly with Diamond. Navigator 6.030 does not find internal gps, but I had to use "other NMEA EQUIPMENT".
Does anybody know, is there an other Navigator software, which could work better wiht Diamond?
Navigator 6.030 finds satellites and gets fix also, but perhaps little later than with other HTC -phones.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=401453
I really have no problems at all with tomtom.
I have it working 100% with wester_Europe maps.
the only issue is that diamond gets hot! but it works like a charm
I had also problems with 6.030 but with 6.032 it works good.
I run 6.0.32 and it works good.

Just to backup what has been said before, ANYONE posting a cab for tomtom will get a ban, it is considered as warez (Against forum T&Cs).

I'll give you a race to the ban!
But, T&Cs?!? Makes it sound like they're negotiable! (For noobs, the rules are not...)
Having said that, any info on what does and does not work with the VGA screen is probably useful...
6.030 isn't a pirate version?

So far, no version has been posted and linked to. If and when it is, someone's getting banned
Doesn't TomTom require map activation anyway? You would still have to have a valid serial number in order to use it........

Surely a pirate version doesn't require any activation...

It's still warez, and it's still illegal.

Why have you re-asked this question in the Kaiser General forum without any explanation?
It is against Forum Rules for one thing, and it doesn't make any sense for another. Why would we know what to do?

Something to do with the massive amount of replies/help I received from the first one and knowing that the kaiser is of a very similar setup and will use all the same connections settings ... massive thanks for your help.
DaveShaw- This just isn't a good day for you. ;o)
OP- Using your logic you could just post your question to all of the other device forums so good luck keeping track of all of the replies. You could also call the O2 customer support folks and ask them. Might be more constructive. Or, see if there is a forum on the O2 website. Or Google. But I agree with DaveShaw, why the h3ll did you post your Raphael question here?

You can download the program as a trial, but obtaining a serial or anyway to bypass the purchase isn't allowed here.

How can i download TomTom 7 maps for UK. Thanks

I installed TomTom 7 from this site but its saying no maps can be found how can i download the maps for UK if anyone has the cab. file for it? Thanks
lalasia
Follow the instructions here --> http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=72600 and you can purchase and download the maps from the TomTom website.
Cheers,
Steve.
Thats alot of help but my question is would you advice me to buy the maps or download them?? Is there any difference in this?
And i downloaded TTN 7.910 so should i get the version 7 maps or the version 8 maps?
Thanks
lalasia
Follow the instructions I gave you in the post, and you will get the latest maps LEGALLY. If you want to over-install the 7.910 application afterwards, then the maps will continue to work fine (that's what I'm doing).
Downloading the maps from elsewhere is illegal, and shouldn't be discussed here.
Cheers,
Steve.

Warez is not allowed at XDA. Whether People use it or not is there problem. XDA will participate in no way to the Stealing of Software.
To the Original Poster: I suggest you BUY the Maps you don't want the Cops busting down your doors do you, You just had them replaced!

I'm no hypocrite.
What I find frustrating is that there are a whole bunch of "MoFos" who whinge and complain that TomTom don't look after the PDA market properly, and then rip off the software as soon as they can get their hands on it - it's only £30 to get the latest version, so it's not like it used to be when my first version cost over £100.
Is it any wonder that TomTom would rather stick to the PND market, when we don't support the products that they do release?
Cheers,
STeve.
