You should be able to contact the dev and ask him if you can pay for it via paypal or something. The website for weather widget donate is lock2.wordpress.com
It's a shame I cant use the hero's widget for the flip clock

But anyway, weather widget is exactly like the weather clock. He also has a free version however that does not allow theming.
Just use market enabler.

it is included in mcr2.9 as it is part of htc sense. probably won't work in other roms.
Oh, I thought, that is the Widget of the first HTC ROM with flipping times.

It won't work without Rosie installed (and running). It's an HTC widget, not a regular Android widget... it only hooks into SenseUI.
Also, if your question is why doesn't it actually flip, that's a limitation of the US version I know for sure... the animation was taken out by HTC because of the drain on system resources. The animation may or may not be functioning in the widget released in Europe.
I did pull this from the original rom so it should flip but when i posted it i thought id like to give it a try and i couldnt get it work either so I gues htc must have changed something else in the ROM that it relies on maybe... Im far from being an expert though so don't know if it should be able to work or not

Lacks the animation, but it's the closest you will get. Remember that it's removed due to a C&D, so you can't get it or post it on xda.
I have my own black version of the HTC flipclock that i rebuilt/themed and the animation flips/works perfectly, i've uploaded it for you (install through recovery as update.zip and make sure it does not go on sdcard, has to be on phone storage)!
It would be great if a Dev could make this work with non-sense roms

the thing is the flip clock needs the sense framework.....if you want something similar to it...download applanet and install fancy widgets pro and theme the home widget i paid for the app but if u need it for testing i suggest this. the clock its identical to the sense ui analog flip clock

...I mean the actual wallpapers, manup's 2.1 rom has the live wallpapers option, just there's only 1 wallpaper, and also the ones in the market are junk mostly, no offence.

like i said, they're not just wallpapers u can rip out and push, it's its own .apk so u have to install lwp.apk to get the lwp's

I ripped some of them and pushed them to /system/app where the cube one is and it's not showing up in the Live Wallpaper picker.

I read it fast and read "..you can rip out and push.." I read through about 40k grammar errors a day so it's reasonable for me to miss one here and there. After reading more I found my answer...You're working on figuring it out in another thread. Pretty tired of looking through all of these damn threads to get one answer. Nexus live wallpaper aren't great, get the one with flying ducks and you can shoot them down
Waiting for the time to have pet live wallpaper where you can play with it, developers here might wanna consider this as your idea for selling android app.
Pet parrot live wallpaper, better if can download toys and see the parrot plays them.
Records sounds/voices and the live wallpaper randomly plays those sounds as parrot mimick sounds.

i try it and it does not work !!
I would like someone to develop a live wallpaper that looks like normal rain in which sporadic drops hit the screen and drip down (sorta like the HTC weather app).
Can't wait to get a newer device!
Installs fine. Only problems are that the clock is cut off and it FC's when you click the music icon. Maybe someone could mess with it while we wait for 2.1 to be released...

Nope I haven't tried it. I figured since we have cupcake the eclair gallery wouldn't work so I didn't even try.

What do you mean by this, have you gotten the Flan gallery to work on the eris?
I guess Cyanogen just released the Desk Clock with his new G1 rom but I couldn't install it, maybe someone with some dev knowledge could mess with it....

Hi all, I have had to jump camps due to vodafail not being able to provide a signal/service to me, as a result they demanded the return of the handset
As a result I have a new handset, a new provider and I can make and receive calls and SMS.
But I miss a few things from the HTC stock rom, main one being the combined news and weather app, anyone know the name? I have my leedroid roms (still) so I can pick it out of that, but for the lif eof me cannot figure out which it is, I am hoping it is NOT HTC Sense specific...

No worries. I use that app as well as I prefer it over the others I've tried.
In case anyone wants it, this is a news and weather apk that def works on the xoom. If anyone wants to include in their rom please give credit where credit is due.
For the few that may have any problems with the original apk here is the new (signed genie apk) optimized one!
ANDDDD for those who want an optimized widget (RC2) with the normal gray background here you go!
I know this is a lot of news and weather widgets LOL I promise I am moving on to bigger things But I love blue and this is for anyone else that does too! I can do other colors if anyone wants, just ask, I would be happy! All i ask is that you hit the thanks button if you like, thank you!

Hello, no you do not have to be rooted to install launcher pro. I like ADW ex it seems more intuitive but launch pro is good too. Hope this helps.

Thanks. The idea for me is to have everything on one screen and with Launcher Pro, you get the extra screen (notice no borders) and the widgets can be resized.
You do not need root to install launcher Pro but keep in mind it is not designed for tablets so some tweaking of the settings is necessary. There is a thread on this already I think in Xoom General forums which covers this.
Also, the background is using the Live Aquarium live wallpaper. I have not noticed any lag with Launcher Pro or this live Wallpaper as others have reported. It may be because I only use one home screen.
