Hi, i buyed htc mteor few days ago, and i have problem with sim card. sometimes phone cant connect to network/ or dissconnecting himself. And i can see the Searching all the time instead operator logo. Win Mobile 6.1 is installed . Maybe this is becouse original windows for phone is wm5 ? PS sorry for my english
i think its software problem, couse if it had hardware proble, sim will will be not working all the time.

Got my P3600. ROM Version is german ROM 1.16.407.2.
Very nice device !!
Problems until now:
1. Transcend MiniSD 80x not recognized a few times - after 2 days it seems to be ok no more faults with MiniSD Card.
2. Cannot answer GSM calls in mixed GSM/UMTS network - answering 3G calls works fine everytime, answering GSM calls in the same provider network (other location) does not work - software hangs with opened caller bubble.
Hope there will be some ROM Upgrade soon.

'htc p3600 "unknown sim status" problem'
I just received p3600 from Expansys Greece.
All the functions of the phone are working fine but when I try to use the phone function I constantly get the following messages "unknown sim status" and / or "no signal" and then my phone is freezing. I did try several times to soft as well as hard reset the phone but the problem was not resolved.
I also checked several other sim cards (operating with other phones) with the p3600 and still had the same problem.
I realy don''t know what to do next.
Can the problem be resolved or should I return the product?

I just found out that the phone is working perfect with a vodaphone sim card but it still wont work with my TIM card.
So now I have two choises. 1. I cancel my TIM account and I get a new vodaphone sim card (but I realy don’t like the idea since I have my tel. number unchanged for the past 12 years) or 2. I keep looking why this is happening.
At least I know that there is no damage to the phone.
Let me know about any suggested solutions and why is this happening.

your third option is:
there is TIM branded AKU 3.3 Trinity ROM seen on local ftp.
My guess is that TIM branded rom would be compatible to TIM SIM card. There is some simple logic to it

Hi all!
No matter how muchever i try, the phone radio does not connect to my Mobile Network. It keeps saying "searching....." till eternity.
I was using Dutty's V4 + 1.27.12.32 radio.
Around 10 am i try to connect to gprs, and i am not able to, then i do a soft reset, and then i see that my phone cannot connect to my mobile network at all. My mobile network is AIRTEL, in India. The phone keeps saying "searching..." and never stops that and hence now i am not connected to my network.
I have flashed different radio roms since morning - .17, .11, .32 again but no luck. Then i reflashed it with Schaps latest 4.33 rom (wm6), but still no result.
Then i thought maybe my sim is bad, and so i put my wife's Vodafone sim, and that worked! (Vodafone works on a different band than Airtel. this i know coz i have a SonyEricsson Mobile handset 3g-enabled of "3" from australia which works only with Vodafone in India, and not with any other network)
Then i put my sim back and it doesnt work again. While my sim is working perfect in my wife's iPhone.
can someone please help me in this, and tell me what i can do?
i wonder if the phone is somehow network locked or something like that ?
i sure did HARDSPL when i first got the TILT one month back. I have also tried flashing with WM6.1 and its respective radios, but with no success.
I tried a new SIm card .. Didn't work.. I tried at&t card didn't work..
Finally I now have the old rom that came with it back on it incase I try to call the manafcature to see if they can fix it.. Please helppppp.. Will donate if some help me fix it. Thanks

Hi! I have a problem with a diamond and I need some help.I unlocked de htc and it was everything ok. I could make and recieve calls with any provider but few days ago when I turned on the htc, it just doesn't recognized any sim.

I just bought my second HTC HD. First I had a new one, bought from the local operator (Vodafone - Romania), but I lost the phone.
Now I just bought a second hand one, branded from Italian operator TIM.
The phone has only 15h life-timer.
It's SIM unlocked (or was never locked), has already hardSPL and a MaryOne custom rom.
I just instaled newest radio 1.17.25.09 and an Energy ROM...and the problems starts...or maybe was there already.
Once a day..during a call or just when I turn of the screen the phone seems to be ok, but I cannot make any calls. I have full signal ...
If I soft reset the phone I dont have any network operator, the phone is off (in flight mode) and I cannot turn phone on. After a couple of soft reset or removes of the battery everything goes normal (after searching network for 15 minutes).
I tried everything I known ... reinstall HardSPL, reinstall Radio, reinstall ROM (even original ROM)...the same problems apear after a short time.
I dont know everything about the phone, If was decalred stolen in Italy (is normal to do that if so), or maybe was branded by italian operator TIM and had radio problems....
I use any help....
Can Olinex unlocker (Radio Unlock maybe) solve the problem ?!?

some HD's had chipset radio problems, mine went for repair in Dallas TX and they changed motherboard, seems serial 849 and around had radio problems. If is still under warranty try to send it to repair center.

It can be viruses for Windows Mobile...I have a lot of stuff installed.
I just flash new ROM version from NRGZ2 and I didn't install nothing, not even Microsft My Phone or Windows Market.....
A day passed, seems without problems.
Problem Solved.
It appeared to be a hardware problem afterall. The problem was in the solders of the sim-card-holder.
I have the following problem with my Kaiser.
It happened for a second time.
First time was about an year ago...
Suddenly the phone stops to recognize my SIM Card. It says "Sim Card Missing".
When I put my SIM in another phone it works just fine.
When I put another SIM card in MY phone - it works too.
The only thing that does NOT work is MY Sim Card in MY phone .
Last time I tryed to change it for free by my operator, but there was the same situation - MY Sim Card worked in every phone in the operators shop, except mine and they said that I must pay for the new card. So I did and the new card works just fine since now.
First time my Kaiser was with the Stock Rom 6.0.
Now it is flashed with Stylez Black 6.1 Rom.
That`s why I don`t think the problem is ROM related...
Anybody have had the same problem ?!?!
Is there any way to fix it without paying for a new SIM card ?

It can be a flex problem, try to search "no sin card message" . There are many threads situación this issue.
